EA has implemented technical discrimination in their report system, and they are not interested in improving it. Customers that use voice chat are not monitored, while customers that use text chat are.
The problem with this systematic flaw has major consequences to customers who are reported in-game. The chance of a customer getting a permanent ban for using text chat is incredibly high. I will explain in the paragraph down below.
Customer A uses voice chat, customer B only uses text chat. Customer A insults customer B with racial slurs. Customer B defends himself calling customer A toxic over text chat.
EA support will only receive evidence of the text chat. Therefore EA only executes an analysis on evidence of customer B, because the evidence of customer A is not there. They will quickly come to the conclusion that customer B is wrong. The word "toxic" or "kid" is already considered "hateful speech" by EA.
I became a victim of this systematic flaw, therefore I lost a lot of money and no one can help me. With this review I try to reach other people, so they can avoid being banned and hopefully avoid investing in EA. They do not care about you. They only care about the money.
Made multiple ingame purchases and and now I cant login into my account. Contacted support multiple times with no direction. Some websites are not even available. Customer support is non existent. Do not spend on any EA product. Scamming morons
What a bunch of money-grubbing copy-paste video game developers. The least they could do is have a competent customer service team, but even that seems too difficult for Electronic Arts.

App is constantly crashing and telling me to restore or clear the EA app cache. I mean when you download the app it give you 2 other EA icons saying EA error reporter, EA app recovery, reinstall or some crap. You should know that if it has to download this with the EA app, something is wrong with their app and you're constantly going to have to restore it. I also purchased a game off their app for the Black Friday sale a couple weeks ago and where the H*LL is it? We will never know because good luck trying to get a hold of EA contact support. It's either giving the circle of death loading screen for over 20 minutes just for the support to crash too when it does load. Your app is not user friendly as well and way too confusing navigating around for answers and searching for games. I WANT MY ADD ON GAME OR MY MONEY BACK EA! I play The Sims and recently started again. I was so upset to see that EA took the origins platform away. I wish The Sims was still accessible with Origins!. EA! Your app is TRASH! FIX IT! ZERO STARS!
The advisor is always claiming to be trying his best to help, but no matter what I asked or answered, no typed words respond. Every time I open the live chat, the advisor was just spamming the same sentences even after I asked him politely to stop spamming and just answer some simple questions. I want to describe my situation so he can help, but he always interrupted me by sending the same sentence I've seen other advisors sent me before. I think maybe it is not their fault since they may have a really bad day and just don't want to type words. But since this is customer support, unfortunately I have to give 1-star rating for got harassed by chat spamming and no help received. Sorry about that.
I recommend to everyone to run as fast as they can from this company, also from Smart tree. I've been an employee and worked "legally" in contract for 3 months! And they didn't pay me, they kept promising me that this is how it is with a new employer and stuff.
They treat me really bad there, in the first interview nobody showed up. The lead of the team was getting all the fruits because he was putting the team to do his job and their tasks as well, so we did double work. I hope somebody from E.A. Will read this and take attitude! I want my money for the time worked! This is slavery, and also I want to mention the fact, that they promised me something and in contract it wasn't mentioned..
Multi billion dollar company that cant even have stable servers. WASTE of money buying any of there games. FIFA 23 is legit a joke. Hope this company gets bought out by someone that actually cares about its gamers and not just money. TRASH COMPANY = TRASH GAMES
After encountering an issue with a game and trying to troubleshoot on my own, I attempted to find help on their site, which resulted in me going in circles. Any "help" or "contact us" link anywhere on the site was a dead end, resulting in only a "page not found" or taking me back to the original help page. I had to go to four different customer service sites that were not EA to even find a working number for their customer service center. I finally found out that only a few topics will get you a real person that will contact you. However, my phone carrier thought the number was spam and sent it to voicemail. A customer rep did leave me a voicemail asking me to call them back quickly, however when I attempted to call the number back, an automated message said "Please visit our website at help.ea.com, there is no customer representatives at this time" and hung up. I chose another issue topic unrelated to my technical issue in order to get put on a live chat. By this point I had spent almost two hours troubleshooting and then trying to find someone to talk to, so I was pretty much over it. The representative did not help me with my issue, anyway. I think it's important to note that I have had an account with EA since 2015 and until this point, I was very happy with my experience. However, this experience has forever shaped my perception of this company and I will no longer be doing business with them.
EA is worse than a shell of itself. They have the same glitches year after year. I play Madden and it is painful. The announcers in game are garbage never keeping up with the action. The servers constantly unavailable or lose connection. I have had to replay games multiple times because it didn't save the results and lost connection. Play is glitchy.
I have spent over $500 on this because its good but I have broke 3 controllers because of this game because I lag way to much im in South Africa so im used to lag but this I move 1000ping Jump 1500 ping I cant even play a battle royal its to laggy and my internet has full bars
EA Games. EA Support. What comes to mind when you see or hear these names? Worthless. Useless. Does not care about their customers. Basically, any negative word comes to mind, right? EA is like any other typical large corporation. They promise you the world, the best experience, they're the best, etc. Once you buy into their product they have your money, now you are useless to them. They outsource their support groups that have no idea what is going on. They are provided scripts in order to respond to your support needs. 9.5 out of 10 times their response has nothing to do with your initial question. Mostly because these outsourced analysts EA hires barely know the English language. I submitted 3 support cases needing help with my account on a game purchased online. All 3 responses had nothing to do with what I needed done. Overall, my case was not resolved as expected. Now I am left in the dark with my issue and cannot enjoy the gaming experience that EA games wants us (the customer) to have. EA's corp office social analyst (who is most likely American) will see these reviews but won't be much they can do other than 1 thing. The 1 thing that most companies like EA should do when it comes to help and support and that is the word CARE. EA does not care. They outsource to save money. When you outsource, you get what you pay for and that is zero progress. EA. Wake up and read the reviews out there. Your customers HATE you! Its not time to think. Its time to replace some of your high ups in the company. Until then you are nothing else but complete garbage! I will look up every review site there is for EA and paste this review. Why? Because what I am saying is the truth. You do not even deserve 1 star.
All their games are really staged so it's either they play good but the next game their $#*! $#*! this company and $#*! this game thank god fifa 23 will be the last one they make

2042 is a terrible game. I loved BF in the past. I will no longer buy any EA game. The fail to finish their games and don't fix them. They lost me as a costumer.
I had my IDENTITY STOLEN because of EA's completely inadequate cyber security protocols. I had hundred and hundred of dollars for purported purchases from EA improperly charged to my debit & credit card. They could care less, did nothing other than object to me calling the credit card company to stop the fraud and summarily banned me. The result being, also lost $100s I spent on DLC. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Terrible business practices and policies would not recommend anyone to use their worthless services. One of the worst servers and support desks an absolute shame.
They banned my Apex Legend account which I had over 1500 hours of play time and over a thousand dollars of in game purchases due to false accusations of cheating, and then told me to f myself when I asked for details regarding the "investigation" they conducted in my account. This is the final straw for this terrible company. I will never, EVER buy another one of their products, or anything from any of their daughter companies. I recommend everybody else stay away from them. Respawn is the only decent studio under their wing and now I will say goodbye to them as well.
They will banned you for saying the word "kick rocks." Don't contact them or dispute; waste of a week. Terrible company that just needs money to make more unentertaining game. Don't contact them because they're too busy with their everyday lives; mainly taking care of their hamster mothers. (I'll probably get banned again for that)
