FIB FAKE FabFitNotFun

What a crock! $50 for a worthless box that is delivered WEEKS later after making the payment. They were quick to take my money but not quick in delivering the products that are not even worth the price of the cardboard of the box. These "good" reviews are obviously paid trolls or underpaid employees. Fake Fab FIT NOT FUN!

We do indicate in your confirmation email as well as in our FAQ that all boxes are processed within 7-10 business days of the order date and shipped shortly after. False Advertising

Don't get me wrong, I love getting my quarterly boxes, but the customer service is awful. I've only ever had one good person (Alex) in CS that helped me. I received a coupon code a couple of days ago that was for $10 off your next box. Thinking I could have it applied, because it says to email CS to have it applied, I did just that. Now the people at CS are telling me they can't apply my coupon code because I'm already a member? No freaking way. I'm sorry, but that's false advertising. To say "yeah here's $10 off your next box" (which is a good deal for those of you who don't know), and then tell me, "well we can't apply that because you are already a member" even though the coupon code is totally valid. It's a load of bull. Don't send me coupons if I can't freaking use them! False advertising at it's finest folks.

Hi Kara, It sounds like you are on the wrong email list, we are so sorry for any inconvenience. Our new customer emails generally say "Here's $10 off your very first box". We are always happy to honor this discount if there's not already a coupon code that has been used on your account. If you email vip@fabfitfun.com we can assist in making sure you only receive emails for current members, so you are not constantly being asked to sign up since you already have. We have a really great rewards program for current subscribers which is way better than getting $10. If you have not had a chance to login and checkout our referal program please do. Every friend you refer who signs up gets you a $15 credit. If 3 friends join using your referal code you get a free box. We often do really great promos for upgrading your account to select so look out for those as well. Sorry again for any misunderstanding, please do email us so we can make sure you are on the proper mailing list.

Hidden fees

I ordered a FabFitFun box to try it out as I'd used a few other subscriptions and liked it. The deal was a half off price for your first box. I figured, hey, $25... ok.

There's no mention of any shipping fees, so AFTER I enter my credit card info I see an additional $8 charge. I immediately cancel my subscription and send an email that I don't want to pay shipping fees.

Fast forward a few days where I see my credit card bill. They never removed the charge, and I was also charged a Canada/USA exchange rate that I knew nothing about. Now my charge is at $47 instead of the original $25 that I was expecting.

I emailed them about my concern and received a response quickly that they don't do refunds. My box has been sent and there's nothing they can do. I'm now worried that the box won't even be worth the $47 that I apparently spent.

I'm going to call my credit card company to dispute.

Scammy business with shady practices. I haven't received the box yet, but I would not suggest them to anyone.

Hi Melissa, So sorry for any confusion. Our checkout page indicates "*$8/box shipping for Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. CA sales tax where applicable." This is stated directly above the button you press to submit your order. We are sure to mention the shipping fees and taxes on our FAQ page as well. When you canceled your order you canceled it moving forward for future shipments. Our cancellation page lets you know you will still receive any boxes that have already been paid for and that by canceling your are canceling your subscription moving forward. Since you paid for the box and then canceled, you were still set to receive the item you paid for which is why it was shipped out to you, but your account is canceled moving forward. All orders are processed within 7-10 business days and shipped shortly after, if you are in Canada your box should arrive approximately 2-3 weeks after your order is placed. If you need help tracking your shipment please email vip@fabfitfun.com and we'd be happy to send you the tracking details for your purchase.

What a waste!

This is the worst $40 I have ever spent! I got nothing useful! A plastic jumprope, earbuds (who doesn't already have them?), ugly nail polish, a cheap gold dipped necklace, a bottled milkshake, some cheap hair conditioner, some eye cream I already tried (probably the last time I wasted money on this box) that does nothing, and a "gift card" for $25 where everything is $100. There is no way this garbage adds up to $200 or $250 as they claim! Don't waste your money! I'm just glad I got $10 off and didn't waste $50 on this box of random crap! Never again!

Disappointed

What a joke. Do not buy these boxes. They are full of old things, gift certificates which you cannot use unless you spend over 100.00. I was so excited but once my box was opened I was sadly disappointed; gloves came apart, headphones crack in and out, the infuser stinks. The cream is good and well that's all. I have received cold emails, with no resolution. This was a Christmas gift and it was crap!

DO NOT ORDER ITS A RIP OFF AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE!

Stay away they do not deliver what they say they will. My box went missing and NOBODY was willing to help. Been trying to get something from them anything to no avail.
AVOID AT ALL COST... BIG SCAM.
Weeks later did receive box. Not completely convinced it was all worth it.
Must mention yes they did EVENTUALLY send me a replacement box but not until I posted the original review.

BUYER BEWARE!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. After purchasing my summer box and waiting over a month for it to come (because it got lost in shipping, which I was never contacted about) I received my summer box in the fall...

To top off that pleasant experience I re activated my account to try and delete my credit card information (because yes they keep it! And when you try and delete it they won't let you) I was then charged for a fall box even after deactivating again. I hadn't even had my account activated for ten minutes. I contacted customer service after receiving a shipping notice and was informed it was too late as this company does not offer refunds or exchanges. BEWARE!

The FabFitFun Box from FabFitFun.com is a quarterly subscription that costs $49.99 each quarter. (Although they usually run special offers each quarter)
Each box is sent seasonally (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall) and includes $100+ worth of beauty, fashion and fitness items. Since I find that I have loved and have used almost everything I've received, I find the FFF box to be a great value.
The items are always great quality and I have found that I can easily gift or swap the few items that I received that really didn't interest me. For instance, I don't like to wear scarfs, but I was able to swap someone the scarf in the Spring 2015 box for a couple high-end items they didn't want from their Luxor Box. This is one of the few boxes I receive that have items that can be swapped for higher-end in other boxes.

Worst company ever, I signed up for the fall box and they messed up the shipping not once, but three times. I finally get the box and it's missing half of the items in there.

Shortly, after all that mess I cancelled my subscription around Oct 14.

But I guess cancelling your account with this company doesn't work, cause today I got charged for I believe would be the spring box. I called customer service and got my money back but the fact that you believe you cancelled something 4 months ago and than having to deal with it again.

Just a nightmare of a company...
