Bought a folding Gerber Knife in the 80s, was drawn to it based on their lifetime warranty, well that only applies when the company decides whether or not to answer or reply to your numerous requests. I sent in a request with pictures, have waited way to long to get any further response from this company, that I thought was so great, well folks save your money and go with a different company that will stand behind the lifetime warranty that advertise.
Gerber knives is one of my favorite shops. I own a collection of knives and make orders here from time to time. Customer support is also great. They also gave me a few good recommendations (not that I don't know the business myself ha ha). I am a satisfied customer.
Hese knives are by far the best I've ever owned. I'm usually pretty rough on knives because I believe in functionality over looking pretty
Got a Gerber knife as a gift a few x-mases ago, the lock blade function didn't work. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Came across it a few days ago and contacted Gerber about getting it fixed/replaced. They said to send them a photo of the knife (why?), we'll look at it, and send a shipping label to you if it seems justified. They sent back a form letter telling me to ship it at my expense and they would ship it back (repaired, I assume) at theirs.
The knife NEVER worked, I NEVER used it, why should I pay anything to have them repair something that was not my fault? Doesn't make much sense to me. Zero-star rating for Gerber.
I have several Gerber knives in my collection. Very good quality and look. I have the knives displayed in my knife collection.

I never write reviews, but felt that Gerber-Tools services went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered a knife that needed to be engraved a week before Christmas and saw the package at my front door the next day. They are quick to keep you updated by email about order fufillment and shipment. The knife and engraving look wonderful! I'm so pleased with this product and the quick delivery. I highly recommend using them and will be using them agian in the future!

I ordered a folding knife + laser engraving. First I was a little bit afraid of the result as I couldn't get a preview of the text, but I turned out to be just perfect! Not to big, and quite discrete.
I also had some trouble during my order: as my paypal account is registered in France, the store website automatically charged me for an expensive shipping in Europe and I didn't notice that before I validated the payment.
I called the contact phone number to explain my situation. Thinking that I would never be refunded. But I talked to the nicest man who immediately helped me and send me my money back the next minute without any discussion. I have to say he made my day!
This company definitely cares about its costumers and knows how to communicate.
I really recommend it!

I ordered gifts for my groomsmen from Gerber tools and they are great. Typically the other gifts you get are cheap knives that end up in a box somehwere, but these are great. I ordered 7 engraved knives and they arrived in 4 business days. As for the quality of the knives, they are Gerber, so you know it's good! I would highly recommend them, especially if you want your tools engraved!
Site was great with the exception that there was no bullet point of all the features of the multi tools. It explained that there would be a spring loaded scissor, for instance, but did not list all the functions of the tool in a simple format so it made comparing tools a little tedious

It is really great and made with high quality materials.
I was just a bit disapointed with the shipping charges of $44 for shipment to Europe, which is half the value of the knife.

I found the Gerber Tools website very easy to use. I was searching for a replacement knife as a gift and was shocked at how fast I found it, not knowing anything about knives. I just set a new order, because I was told by friends that the Gerber quality is outstanding. I collect small multi tools, but I also use a few when camping, and fishing.
