We ordered a gift hamper for my sister in law for her birthday. Her mom passed away 10 days ago. It was supposed bro be an uplifting gift. This was a SUPER DISAPPOINTING gift! We paired extra for next day delivery... Terrible Terrible Terrible Terrible service!

This was the 6th time that I used Gift Lady to deliver gifts/baskets to family and friends in South Africa. The ordering process is effortless. I can either created my own basket or order a beautifully curated basket for all occasions. The baskets are made up with high quality and uniquely South African products.
From the start of the order there is always very clear communications on the status of the order and confirmation on delivery.

As someone living abroad I have been ordering hampers from Gift Lady for a few years, and every recipient has raved about the quality of the contents and presentation. I just ordered a hamper for my sister, and one item was out of stock so they replaced it with not just one, but TWO items to make up for the shortfall!

It can be tricky trying to order gifts online in South Africa from abroad and I've had some let downs before, but Gift Lady stands head and shoulders above the rest and I have no hesitation in recommending them. The ability to create your own custom hamper, plus the option to add a custom gift wrapper, and a gift message, really adds a personal touch to their hampers.

It's comforting to know that you can rely on someone on the other side of the pond, to take as much care as you would in putting together a gift for a loved one Highly recommended!

First time I have used giftlady to send christmas hamper to South Africa. I was too late for my requested delivery date as they do not deliver over weekend but was given Monday 23 December. I was able to track the hamper and my sister emailed me to say it had arrived and listed the contents - all as expected. Good price and good service. Previously used giftsnideas but this year's website did not look right and seemed expensive so from now on it will be giftlady.net
