My business website got hacked by a professional hacker. It was not just some (bot) injected code. It was really done customly. I had a few companies trying to fix it. They all managed to clear the malicious code, but weren't able to fix the loophole, so the hacker could still come in.

I host a personal blog on WordPress and thought I was doing a pretty good job with the upkeep until a few weeks back I started the day with a 2nd notification of a hacked WP site from my hosting provider. When learning to maneuver this WP and self-hosting process I hear constantly about security and back up and such but didn't understand the depth of it. I updated themes and plugins regularly but apparently it takes a whole lot more than I understood.
