I shopped recently at one of your stores at 2487 S Seneca St., Wichita, Kansas *******, for a Nailer (brand name is Pierce). I bought it and used it for about 15 minutes. The Nailer then stopped working. I took it back to the store for an exchange. The Nailer still had the manufacturer tags on it; it looked new. The cashier raised her voice at me saying that they don't exchange without a phone number on record (l did leave my phone number with the cashie when I bought it, but this time the cashier and the store poor management declined to find my phone number in their records, obviously they did not want to exchange or return the Nailer). The store manager who is a loud mouth white older male stepped in and started yelling at me as well and immediately told me "Don't come back" three times. I told him he can have the Nailer and I left it on the counter, then I left the store without an exchange or refund. This manager is obviously despicable and rude, and should be removed from his duty if the company cares about its relationship with the consumer.
Harbor Freight has taken the ability away from their cashiers to scan in a coupon. So if you forget your phone, or you don't have access to the internet, you're screwed. Seems discriminatory. The coupon says EVERYONE gets 20% off. Well apparently that's not true. Cheap bastards.
The ITC membership does not give you the stated benefit of "No need to save coupons, the best deals are automatically applied for Inside Track Club members." So if there is a coupon offer you don't get it unless you have the coupon. So my membership is a one and done.
Terrible. Bought battery backup for my vehicle. Started making a screaming noise soon after. Told because it was an online purchase that I had to mail back and no shipping company will accept a screaming machine. Got noise complaints at home and had to go through extra to dispose of. Trying to dispute charge through bank, since they made impossible to fulfill return.

Got email with. Winner of tool box kit. Just pay 8.97 for shipping. If I win in a raffle. I paid the 8.97. Then approx. 3-4 days later my account was charged 104.00 dollars. Called about it. Well no apologies. I was offered 35.00 for my trouble. But, I could have bought that tool set for 99.00 dollars at the parts store. My advice don't fall for the could win one. Not you don't get one even after they steal money to enter you in raffle. Bad service
Harbor Freight has continuously had the Badlands Off Road jack advertised as in stock on their website but never have any. They say it is the floor model and can't sell it yet they couldn't show me the floor model. Time to connect with the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. I will spend the extra $100 for the good one the PRO EAGLE. They usually don't have most of what is advertised in stock for their sales any way.
I purchased a pumps sprayer for $100 and did not last 15 minutes before it started leaking all over me! I went to take it back and they said you have to go through a return process online due to safety. I applied online and it says it may take 2 to 3 days to hear from Harbor Freight and I may have to pay shipping. I went straight to Home Depot to purchase another one. Kaliyah Manager at the Bend OR store is definitely a high strung individual. She doesn't know how to handle customers with professionalism. She is extremely snappy and rude. She definitely has a complex that needs to be addressed on how to handle her attitude.

The manager at the Bellingham, Wa. Store is rude and argumentative with zero customer service skills. I purchased an item at 2:00pm and returned, unused at 8:30am next morning. The manager could not handle me telling her not to speak to me the way she was because I said the restocking fee was ridicules, it hadn't even been 24 hours. She said rules are rules, which I hadn't been told, so, to be fair they didn't steal my money for restocking fee, but the conversation escalated because she continued making negative remarks that I responded to. This resulted in her telling me to leave multiple times and I don't care so much about being disrespected at a business for expressing my opinion. She then told me I was banned from the store when I asked to speak to the manager, as I didn't know she was. She was clearly emotional and unequipped to deal with an unhappy customer. She allowed a male customer, who came into the store after me to harass and accost me. He didn't know what was going on and came to the check out line about half way into this conversation between the manager and me and he had absolutely nothing to do with my transaction. She did not finish my transaction by returning my money but left me standing there to check him out and commiserate with him on a different register. When she came out to the parking lot to help this man load his truck by the front entrance to the store, she again told me to leave when I was telling him to mind his own business. He called me the 'C' word. I am a 71 yr. Old woman and this is simply inexcusable. A gross experience, which this manager encouraged and tolerated. I'd give a zero if I could and will not be back. A skilled, knowledgeable manager would have known how to de-esculate the situation.
Bought a Pierce framing nail gun to add on a porch. Did not shoot half the time and would drop nails out of head occasionally. Return to store to get money back then was told there was a restocking fee. The gun was junk why swap for another junk one. Lost 35 bucks to restock and went to lowes for a good gun. I bought a defective 10x10 shed and called customer service. I was told the part was ordered and I should have it within a week. That never happened. I kept trying to contact them about my part. Weeks later I get an email saying it will be another 30 days. In order to make the customer happy, I would have just gave me a new one or pulled the part from a new box and replaced that one.
