I called and received so much wonderful information about the products. I can't wait to get my new power chair. My life is about to improve so much. I will be able to the thing I love again. I haven't been anywhere that requires a lot of walking or doesn't offer an in store scooter. I'm looking forward to going to the zoo, museums and the movies.

It was nice to have receive a pleasant call from HOV round. The man on the other in was very nice and informative. I was excited to learn that my order was approved. They informed me of the steps which were to take place, reference someone coming out to look over my situation at my home to decide which unit would best suit my needs. So I will now be waiting on my next call from them. Over all at this time I'm pleased with my choice.

Nobody answers customer service calls. On hold waiting for over 40 minutes. It's the same every time. Im seriously considering getting another company. I will not recommend this company. I really regret that insurance company contacted this company for my needs. Supervisor, please call me if you need more information.

I have been legally blind for almost 2 years. I tried to call in a few times to get help. It takes at least 2 to 3 weeks for even the most basic help. Longer if they have to order parts. Why don't they have parts in stock... today, I called in and had to update my doctor information. But since I can't see, I do not know the exact address. I asked the lady if she could Google it and she would not help me. I told her I had no 12 help me and just asked her to please google the address and she would not. I was on hold for over 20 minutes just to be let down, they need more staff and they need to be more helpful for people who are blind. Pathetic

Having the Hoveround has given me the opportunity to go out with friends. It's also given me the ability for go shopping for myself. However, the thing I enjoy most is being able to play Bocce the same as my able body friends. I'm pretty good at it. I get a lot of compliments from folks asking about the Hoveround.

I had my chair for 9 mts. I tried to use it. In the first 3mts. I started calling, writing to no avail. You sent me parts, but never came out to fix the dang thing. You (HOVEROUND) don't care about carp but money. YOU WAS WORRY ABOUT MY WEIGHT AND FORGOT ABOUT MY HEIGHT. IT TO DANG SHORT. But what do you care. Corporations. Only MONEY. People don't matter. I even will give it back. Get it out my house. NOTHING. Still you bill my insurance Co. I SAY FARUD! THIEF. But still they pay. And you wanna know why America is going BROKE! COME FIX MY CHAIR. I called several weeks ago to set up among other things, a service/repair call for my wife's Hoveround. I was told that I needed to speak with Tech Support. They told me that they couldn't schedule a service call but that someone would call me in a few days to schedule. Well, nobody called and so called back yesterday and was transferred to Tech Support wherein a recording informed me that my wait time was approximately 79 minutes. I hung up and decided to try today. I called Hoveround (you can't call Tech Support directly) and waited 33 minutes for someone to answer the phone so that they could transfer me to the Tech Support recording wherein I learned that I was caller #42 and that my wait time was approximately 62 minutes. I decided to leave a call back number rather than stay on hold. It's now about 3 hours since I left my number. I'm guessing that I'm not getting a call today. Makes me wonder if there even is a Tech Support office or if ANYBODY works there. My wife's chair has a very flat tide and it can't be used. If Hoveround won't fix it I'm not sure who to call. This is some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. So, I called Tech Support and found out via recording that I was caller #32 and that my wait wound be approximately 82 minutes. Well, in 82 minutes I wouldn't be available

I've been with Hoveround since I first got in the wheelchair in 2006 the reason I went with Hoveround was because mom and daddy both had their through them I knew the great service was there from there service with mom and dad's I've had nothing but great experiences with them and highly recommend them to anyone that needs a wheelchair

Answer: Some seem to be getting the equipment supplier mixed up with Medicare. Medicare has theirs own agenda (deny! Deny! Deny!), like most insurance co. Who don't want to pay out. Power wheelchair and scooter companies just do what they can. If a doctor prescribes and Medicare accepts/denies, its not the companies' fault. The doctor is valued to do his duty the best he can and Medicare supposed to do right by the benefiticary. I don't know. Seems a lot of blame is possible, not just with one side of it.

Answer: Yes, if doctor can prove medically necessary. Doctor must make file notes to support and you must have an office visit that only addresses the need for your chair.
