The man that took my order was very very nice he knew what he was doing and it didn't take that long he made my experience worth my time and he was very knowledgeable
Would have been nice to know how long the phone call was going to take overall. Was put on hold for another rep and waited so long to the point that the original rep said she was still waiting for someone to pick up. If she came on again, I was going to tell her I didn't have any more time at the moment. So in the future you need to give an eta on how long this is going to take, people have other things to do.

The whole process was like a walk in the park. The staffs was very Pleasant and professional. I had my information ready and my insurance cards at hand
In just a few minutes they were able to get the paperwork started for my Hoveround, they even went out of there way to call my doctor for an accessment appointment to speed things up.

I love my new Hoveround. It is comfortable, well thought out, and fun. Using the joystick is a challenge because I live in an assisted living building in a small single bedroom. When I need to go down a very long hall to get to the dining room, activity room or physical/occupational therapy room, it is perfect. When I need to back up to maneuver around furniture, it is a challenge. And the fact that when going backwards I have to push right to go left, and push left to go right is tough to remember (I have NEVER driven a forklift or similar vehicle). I expect I will get the hang of it eventually, and I have some funny stories in the meantime.

Hoveround literally called me 5-8 times every single day! I had my appointment with my doctor & she quickly sent back her part. I didn't hear anything for OVER A MONTH! I had to call hoveround myself. I got put on hold 3 times having to be transferred to 3 different people! I was told I will be getting a call back in about 2 weeks! This is ridiculous! So I have NO IDEA WHEN I WILL BE SERN OR IF IM EVEN APPROVED TO GET S CHAIR THROUGH MY INSURANCE!

I started the process in May with another company to get a chair for my mom then in August had a switch companies they gave me the run around until October. Then they finally said it would be another 3 to 6 months to get a chair so I called Hoveround in November my mom got a new chair delivered on December 3...this company has been wonderful customer service is great the call and keep you informed I would recommend them to any and everyone. Thanks for giving my mom the chance to get around and do the things she loves and need to do

I need the wheelchair to function so it is in constant use. But at this age, changes don't come easy and the over sized chair is challenging in a small apartment. It is a very comfortable chair and I really appreciate the power.

I don't know if anybody out there can answer this question or can point me in a direction. I am having extreme difficulties maneuvering my wheelchair. My joystick is so super sensitive that every time I take a breath while I'm driving it, it throws me off into a different direction it's so super super super sensitive. I'm almost scared to get on it. Anybody have any suggestions?

Answer: Some seem to be getting the equipment supplier mixed up with Medicare. Medicare has theirs own agenda (deny! Deny! Deny!), like most insurance co. Who don't want to pay out. Power wheelchair and scooter companies just do what they can. If a doctor prescribes and Medicare accepts/denies, its not the companies' fault. The doctor is valued to do his duty the best he can and Medicare supposed to do right by the benefiticary. I don't know. Seems a lot of blame is possible, not just with one side of it.

Answer: Yes, if doctor can prove medically necessary. Doctor must make file notes to support and you must have an office visit that only addresses the need for your chair.
