PLEASE BE AWARE, there is a reason lensdirect.com offers so many discounts! The very second you hit the okay button and place an order with LensDirect.com you will be OBLIGATED and CHARGED a fee! No matter what happens, even if you go back instantly to change or cancel your order you WILL BE CHARGED for changing or cancelling, simply because you said okay and placed an order. I waited for a few days to check on the status of my order, which said that it was "being cut and built" at the lab within a minute of placing my order. When I called customer service to inquire about my order they had no information, no updates, no estimate of delivery, nothing whatsoever. When I asked to cancel the order since nothing was done and nothing was cut or built, I was told that I would be charged a 25 percent "cancellation fee" because the order was submitted. Nevermind that it took over 25 days to ACTUALLY receive my order, customer service was going to make sure that they got their pound of flesh from me, NO MATTER WHAT. So please take this into consideration before you place an order with Lensdirect.com DIRTY POOL!

It took six weeks to get my lenses. Competitor Lensibl made them in two. Status was not updated regularly. I was told that the first set of lenses did not pass inspection, and while I'm glad they were not sent out incorrectly, and was never told exactly what the problem was and weeks went by without the status being updated. The final lenses are correct and I appreciate that, but I don't appreciate waiting 6 weeks for simple single vision lenses.

I ordered lenses for some framed that I bought and first of all, the timing in sending the frames and getting them back is very short, it's about 7-8 days and I'm in California and the factory is in New York. Very quick excellent service. The lenses are great, very well made. When I had to change the lenses they were done immediately. I would highly recommend LensDirect!
