Horrible

When I applied it was normal. HOWEVER not only did the assistant manager make rude comments such as assuming I'd wear crop tops( mind you I was not showing anything whatsoever and dressed appropriately), she commented that I had to dye my hair a natural color. Um, they say online that they allow whatever style as long as it is not inappropriate. She not only made rude suggestions, she didn't even read my resume on my work experience and the tasks I had to overcome. She assumed that I, a 19 year old with black and colored hair, didn't know how to clean, manage or communicate. I had to manage a very high volume store with 3 registers by myself, while assisting customers, ringing them up, stocking shelves, cleaning an front faceing, not including changing price tags and 0 counting stock. Even though I included everything I had overcome she judged me, didn't communicate, and made rude unprofessional comments. I do not suggest working at the Katy mills mall in TX. The associates name was Betty. I am highly disappointed in the unprofessional manner and confused as to why she lied. Also I had to reach out to see if she re sent the task because I was not receiving it, she never answered or got back to me. She violated my personal privacy of how I looked. I understand if it was busy, however she could give at least 1 min to reach out.

Fraud Alert

Beware of employees ripping you off when you buy clothes online. I bought some clothes and a week later they had bought me a $1,000 gift card so they could get a commission I guess. I have talked to so many Loft people and their bank and they've done nothing. It was such a simple matter. The email of my so called purchase showed it was still at post office there where their distribution center is located. All they had to do was deactivate that gift card and wouldn't. It's a huge mess and has caused unnecessary stress. Be aware of ordering clothes online with a Loft credit card. None of the family will be shopping there ever again.

Fine if you never have to return anything.

The return policy after 30 days (but before 90) is that you get back whatever they would sell the item for now. So if the whole store has a huge sale, you aren't going to get much no matter what you paid for the items. The best part is, when you return the items online they tell you that you will get the full amount back so you don't even have all the information before deciding whether you want to return the items based on what they will actually give you. I would probably have kept everything and sold it online or even donated it instead of giving it back to that company. I won't purchase here again.

Bought a blouse advertised as Floral Velvet Trim. There is absolutely no velvet and I tried leaving a negative review and they didn't post it. Even if you mark the return as damaged or wrong item they try to make you pay shipping. Even if their ad lies! I am including a review someone else left that didn't get flagged. See pic.

I just received 1/2 of an outfit that I ordered from the loft. The other half (petite lou & grey sweatpants) were cancelled after I chose, paid, and checked out. When I call customer service it is painful to make the staff understand the problem. They are obviously taught to repeat what we have said and read from a script. A bot could do this as well without being as annoying. I think my days of trying to communicate with the Loft are over. Unfortunately, most of the stores don't carry petites, so I may be done shopping at the loft.

Coupon scam.

They offered me $25 to come back. Coupon didn't work on anything I put in the cart. Online help said must purchase $75 worth. Nowhere in the email is this written. This is all it says: $25 off your purchase offer valid through October 2,2022 at 11:59 PM ET in LOFT stores in the US and on LOFT.com for orders shipped within the US on styles as marked. Single use only. Offer excludes Sneak preview, third-party merchandise and charitable items. To receive discount at LOFT.com, promo code must be entered at online checkout. So it's a scam to get you to shop. Wasted my time for sure.

Insulted by sales woman

I was shopping at the Loft in Pensacola, Fl. And one of the ladies who seemed to be pretty nice was assisting me, which I thought was kind of her. As we went along, I was looking for and Xl in a creamed color blouse that I liked and as she was walking ahead of me she asked "are you looking for the price?" Now, I don't know if I looked like I couldn't afford Loft clothes or is this just the stereotypical question that is asked of African Americans when we shop in places that you're rarely seen shopping in. It was very unprofessional and rude of this woman to concentrate on what I can pay for, instead of providing great customer service. If I couldn't afford it, I wouldn't be there. Not only can I afford it I have an all rewards credit card, which by the way I didn't use. Stop judging a book by its cover! Great customer service that quickly took a dive! Never shopping here again!

Worst return policy

My husband bought me a shirt too large fo my birthday. When I wanted to exchange the shirt with him, I was told the amount they can exchange was $10 dollars. Although he paid $56.00. I had the gift receipt but the manager told me they had no access in their system after 30 days. Needless to say, I will never shop here again and encourage others to be careful when buying gifts. The gift receipts are not useful after 30 days. Overall they stole $46 from us on this transaction. Never again

I set my automatic payment to pay the balance in full. Only the minimum amount was taken out by Comenity. I realized this a few days after the due date, took a screenshot of the setting and sent a message asking to make sure there won't be any finance charges and to have the entire amount taken out. I did not hear from anyone after several days, so I paid the balance myself, turned off auto pay and asked to make sure no interest was charged. I got a reply that the interest is charged and I owe it because my entire balance was paid after the due date. This was not my error. I called and asked a representative to remove the erroneous charges and she said there is no way to prove I set up my account to pay the balance in full. Also, my card shows as locked online, but the card is not locked. I attempted to make a payment today to pay off the finance charge and I get an error saying I have to call a number. This is all extremely disappointing and I will not be using this card anymore due to the obvious mismanagement.

I am a 30 year and Taylor card member and almost every suit in my closet is Ann taylor I purchased two items from loft and shortly there after became very ill and ended up in the hospital three times when I came out I realized I needed to return the two items that I never wore and instead bought another hundred dollars worth of items and they told me because I was five days past 30 days they were not giving me the full amount of refund on my items even though I had the receipt makes me never wanna shop at Ann taylor again

Poor attitude

Full time lead kind of got an attitude when inquiring if online sale honored in store. The answer today is no but it varies day to day, person to person. This store had gone down in service & store cleanliness that I only go in to return things that I purchase online.

Every time I look up the order says shipped, no one answers phone, at the end of your order I placed a five hundred fifty dollar order for vacation Said would arrive by April 27,2022, here it May 10th still waiting for four items. I'll never order from loft ever again. My money spends everywhere!

I shopped, tried on loved a ton of clothing that I wanted to have placed behind the counter while I continued to shop. No problem according to the employee. Probably an hour or more I'd been picking this stuff out and trying on, $400 or more on clothes on my first round of shopping while my poor husband agreed to sit in the car and wait for me. Second round of try on's and I was ready to pay. Probably $800 for everything easy if not more when all was said and done. I get to the check out (one person ringing out after noticing about 4 employees AT LEAST during my time there…) all the sudden, the first round of my clothing that I had spent tons of time trying on and asking to be placed to the side while I continued to shop, were missing! Seriously?! Someone, although a "still shopping" sign being placed on my clothes, put them back on the sales floor! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! No sorry and no one even offers to help me find all the stuff! That's crap! I'm an ALL customer and have spent a lot of $$$$ over the years (not as much as I could due to a military move overseas over the past 3 years but…) nonetheless, disappointing! Then took out my digital card available via my online cominity account and I was made to feel like an idiot! They couldn't figure out how to use it! I had to make suggestions on how to use it! They knew nothing about a QR code available via the ALL/Cominity website. I felt the people I was working with were idiots! At the very least, very illy trained! The apology after everything was basically given after I really had to ask for it. End of story, you lost money and I don't plan to visit this store again. Inept employees that don't care! Sad to be loyal and be made to feel like you're just an inconvenience! 4/30/22.

Something Has Changed

I have been a loyal Loft customer for several years. I usually have had a good experience shopping in their stores. But when I made an online order, I had a different experience. One item never arrived. I was notified that it was out of stock a full two weeks after it was supposed to have arrived and only when I emailed to inquire about it. The other item arrived damaged. I figured I could just return it to a store. But it would seem they have closed all the stores in my area. When I went online to find out how to return it via mail, that part of their website does not seem to be functioning. Interesting, because the ordering part seem to be working just fine!

I stayed at the Aloft in West Little Rock on Oct 31,2021 and when I arrived, the front Desk Wynter S. Miller was very professional, Friendly, Polite, knowledgeable about the hotel amenities and willing to go above her call of duties to make sure my first time staying at The Aloft Hotel was a great experience, but unfortunately my father had to be taken to the hospital and I wasn't able to stay, but Ms Wynter made me feel great by showing concern and understanding. I will return and stay at the aloft because of the friendly family atmosphere. Thanks Ms Wynter S. Miller

If I could give a zero I would! I walked into the loft in Delray Marketplace at 6:52 and was told I could not shop since they close at 7. Still had 8 minutes and knew what I was looking for which would have taken a couple of minutes but was basically kicked out unless the salesperson could help me find something right away. I was told to come back tomorrow. I was very uncomfortable at this point and left. Terrible customer service. I am a Manager in the customer service business and this is definitely not the way to treat a customer.
