I purchased a refurbished Herman Miller chair from Madison Seating. The chair was refurbished with all Herman Miller parts. Right after my order someone called me to confirm and answer some questions I had. The chair arrived just under 24 hours later. It's indistinguishable from a brand new one and only came in 2 pieces so assembly was super easy.
High quality brands, good prices and excellent customer service. Would purchase again from this store.
My order arrived within a week of ordering it. Unfortunately, the chair arrived damage, but the customer service team handled it exceptionally well. They were extremely responsive and respectful. Annie and Sarina made sure I was taken care of and were very helpful. I'll be receiving the replacement soon! I fully recommend Madison Seating!
If I could give company 0 stars, I would. If you have read other reviews, mine falls into "item in stock" "delivery 10-14 days" that was on February 25th. It is now April 7th and now delivery is expected at the end of April because of supply chain issues. I am here to state that if you can't prepare an in stock item for shipping in a more reasonable time than this, you are probably in the wrong business. It might be time to re-evaluate your purpose in life, because it sure doesn't meet the goals that you have stated on your website. The old adage of "if it is to good to be true, then it usually is a scam" has never rang truer.
I have been looking for a steel case v2 for the past few months and with the unbeatable great pricing I chose Madison seating. However during the delivery there was a problem to the chair and I reached out to the customer service and they promptly helped with a great solution! They are reliable and are responsive to the customer's needs. Great experience overall with them!

I ordered a Leap chair and have been very happy with it for several months. Recently, a component of the seat kept coming off. After a few exchanges with customer service, they addressed the problem. I am very pleased with how I was treated and the support I received.
I ordered seven Aeron chairs as a treat for my team at a small consulting firm on December 20,2021. Delivery was promised in 10-14 days. Shipment was repeatedly delayed for nearly two months "due to covid." No one would take my call. The people who answer the phone are only for new sales. The only communication was via rude e-mails.
On February 16,2022, I got a notice that the chairs were finally shipping. On February 18,2022, I got a notice around 10:00 am that the chairs had been delivered. The only problem is that they weren't delivered. The whole firm was in the office and we would have noticed seven chairs. We checked with the doorman and freight elevator operator and neighboring buildings, but no one saw a FedEx Ground delivery that morning.
Madison is refusing a refund or a replacement but is offering a $1,800 credit. I filed a claim with FedEx, but they need to work with the shipper, their customer, not the recipient. Madison has not cooperated. Interestingly, the "Proof of Delivery" indicates the shipment was only 47 lbs, just over the weight of a single Aeron chair.

I ordered a new office chair from Madison Seating for my office. It arrived with a broken seatback likely caused while shipping but otherwise was in great condition.
I reached out to customer support to ask for help and they responded really quickly. They were super understanding and helpful and quickly had arranged for a new chair to be sent to me free of charge. I really appreciate the great customer support.
I asked about what features an open box Steelcase Amia chair had, since they used a stock photo, stock descriptions of standard/optional features of the chair, and the listing did not mention arms on the chair at all (though the stock photo included them). The initial response was clearly a stock reply, explaining what open box meant and ignoring all of my actual questions. The next reply answered one question, about the fabric and frame, but only about the color, not the material (of the frame), and still completely ignored my question about the chair arms. The last response was a smug, inaccurate reply that the "listing clearly gives all the information you are requesting," when it did not include any of the details I asked about. Lack of attention to the simplest details in questions that should take less than a couple of minutes to read and answer raises questions about their attention to detail in any of their other practices. Will not do business with them, and recommend anyone else stay away, as well.
Madison seating is a disreputable company. Their website and receipt email said that products will be shipped in 10-14 business days, after I bought a chair in early January. When I heard nothing in that time frame, I contacted the company. THEY WILL NOT TAKE ANY CALLS ABOUT SHIPMENT, only calls for new orders. If they already have your money, you are told that you must contact them through email. I sent and eventually got an email back, saying, so sorry, boo-hoo, with COVID their shipping will take much longer and my chair would be shipped in early to mid February. It's mid-February, and it's the same song and dance routine. I emailed and I called the company, despite their autoattendant saying that existing order issues will only be handled through email. I got someone right away, so... so much for not having people available to handle issues. Of course, I got the same garbage, saying that they can not provide any shipping information or a refund by phone, only via email. I noted that the people handling emails have telephones too, so please connect me to the person(s) who is handling emails. Of course, it was the same thing repeated over and over... can't give information about shipping, can't cancel and refund a purchase that hasn't been shipped over a month after the initial promise, can't connect a person to anyone who can discuss it...
DO NOT BUY FROM MADISON SEATING.
I bought a Steelcase Leap V2 from this dealer from ebay.com. Received a really beautiful chair that looks like a new one for less than half of the original price. Unfortunately, the back support is broken near a joint. Not sure this was happened during the shipping/handling or at the origin, I don't care. What I received was a broken piece and I need help with this now. With lots of questions in my mind, I reach out to madison seating, the response was really quick and very positive. They mentioned that this could have happened during the shipping/handling but they really care about customer satisfaction so they asked me to keep the broken chair to avoid the hassle of repacking everything and shipping back and also promised to ship a good one again soon. I am really happy with their customer experience and products. If you really want a good chair like Steelcase or Herman Miller and can't afford the full price, I recommend trying madison seating.
After having an issue with the armrest of my chair I decided to look into how to take it off to take a picture of the damage for the warranty. In doing so I found out I have the leap chair V1 when I purchased the leap chair V2. While scrolling through reviews I see this is common because many people think they have the V2 when in fact the have a V1 chair. So madisonseating is selling the V2's and delivering V1's to unsuspecting customers. I brought this up during my email exchange for my warranty issue and they stated this needs to be noticed within 30 days. So even though they state a lengthy warranty if you don't notice you were lied to within 30 days than oh well gotcha! Yeah no thanks madisonseating. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY.

Madison Seating accepted my order, charged my debit account several times and through checking if they shipped the chair I ordered, said it was delayed due to supply chain issues. This continued for 3 months until I contacted them again on the 4th month, they again charged my debit card, but this time said my order had to be cancelled because the card was declined. Declined card, like previous ship dates, was a lie. Proof in bank transaction screen shots and email correspondence made with BBB. Dont purchase from Madison Seating if you value your time and money. Known lying fraudsters.

Madisonseating never charged this customer. When payment is declined no charges go through and a shipment will not get released.
We tried processing his card and it got declined. The attachment he provided only shows the charge ATTEMPT. The money was never deducted from his account as the buyer did not have the funds to pay for the item. Please see the attached copy from our terminal showcasing the declined payment. This reviewer is just sore about not being able to make the purchase and is using us as his outlet for frustration. We are not at fault as we did our best try and his service his chair needs. We simply cannot send out product for free.

I ordered a chair on 11/29. I was told it would ship within 10-14 days and I would receive an email when it was ready to ship. Then I was ghosted for months. When I finally followed up they said there were covid delays and it would be shipped mid Jan. While that's understandable - everyone is experiencing staffing shortages, what is not understandable is why they refuse to notify customers of delays. Finally, mid Jan rolled around and I was not notified of my product being delayed *again*. When I followed up again they said my product was not in stock and they had no idea when it would be available. They offered me the option to *purchase* a more expensive product. Really? An upsell attempt after all of this? Why would I give this company more money when they sold me a product that never existed? I ended up cancelling my order. It stinks that I waited 3 almost 3 months for something I never received.
After 25 years, my old SteelCase finally gave up the ghost. Searching online I came across Madison Seating and was kind of blown away by their prices. Picked up a SteelCase at a huge discount. I peppered them with questions through email and even called the office and found them to be gracious and helpful. Soon after, I had my chair! I had a couple questions once it arrived and they were super helpful and took great care to make sure I was completely satisfied. Every once in a while I run across an organization that earns my trust right from the start - Madison Seating is one.

I bought a refurbished Humanscale chair from Madisonseating.com for a fraction of the price of buying a new chair. Since it seems working from home is a new norm, I needed a quality chair, but didn't want to spend almost a thousand dollars on the office chairs usually recommended. The price was good for a good quality product that was shipped relatively quickly. I had a minor issue which was quickly resolved so I can say the service is also great.
I received a chair that was damaged. Customer service has stated they will send a replacement. I appreciate the quick response.

We offered to pick up the chair at our expense and issue a full refund as we are now sold out of the blue Aeron chair. We did not intentionally ship you an incorrect color chair. Mistakes happen. This was an honest mistake done by a packer, probably due to the holiday rush. The color black and blue are hard to discern on a mesh chair. Please return the chair at this point as your reaction to the error has been a tad excessive.

The first order was processed successfully with the payment you provided and shipped in a timely manner.
