They chased me day and night for registration even on holidays and weekends, until I pay it. Once they got the payment they all vanished and just sending me drafted mails that they are working on it. It's been now one month and they said it's 6 mnths package. Whene ver I am asking my money back they are unresponsive. I hv all the evidence and proof if calls and payments made.
You'll just get a bunch of phoney resumes that don't represent real people, plus you cant reach out to anyone. What a waste. I'd rather have an actual monster helping me.
I was contacted repeatedly by "Alex" (real name Karan Kishore) who put on an excellent sales pitch. He was friendly, convincing and knowledgeable. After expressing my concern about reading the negative reviews, he had his supervisor (Vignesh Kumar) call me, who was equally articulate, positive and convincing. I decided to spend the $650 for the career services while Alex continued to say "95% of my clients land an excellent job within 3 months, all within 6 months"... After they got my money Alex did nothing - and when I emailed, all he said was "my apologies, I will get the team on it"... I escalated it to Vignesh Kumar, who was nowhere to be found.
All the signs of a scam - but I fell for it anyway. Please dont also fall for it!
I made the mistake of trying to use Monster during a job search. I recieved nothing but irrelevant responses and spam.
Under no circumstances should you ever make a profile on Monster. I learnt the hard way after making one. I'm not exaggerating when I say I was harass endlessly. Phone calls, texts and emails every few minutes by these terrible "recruiters" that didn't even bother to look at my resume. Phone calls and texts at 6am! It's better now that I deleted my profile. I had to pick up a few of those calls and be mean. Id also ask where they got my information. Monster. I even selected the do not show my contact information options... got people calling me confidential...
I wish it was as easy to close an account as it is to open. All of these online job search sites only do one thing well... bill your credit card. I what to go back to the classified ads in the newspapers.
Spam callers!
I created a profile with my resume and contact information and received 100s of spam calls/emails from Indian call centers. Avoid this website. Use a reputable job board like Indeed or LinkedIn instead.
We placed 3 ads with Monster.com. There are no recent resumes and the applicants that did respond did not meet the requirements we set up. You will get a bunch of unqualified applicants for $399.00.
Huge rip off!
Monster.com is doing scam with common people. They sell your resume data to fake recruiting consultancy. And then after you will start getting calls for jobs. They will convince to pay registration fee then they will arrange a fake interview & they will select you and they will offer you good salary. The salary could be in lakhs or 5x or 10x salary from what you are currently getting now. They will make you feel so good that you will stop thinking about scam. Now their business start they will ask money on the name of medical, police verification & many more. Slowly slowly you will lose your thousands of money. Then they will ask you to wait and the wait will never end. And one they all phones are switched off.
Happy Scam...
So don't trust anyone, always visit office of the consultancy then pay for any service.
Monster.com is fake scammer, don't give your personal data.
Mr. Bell renewed my enthusiasm for dealing with Monster Travel. I had questions as to protocol
For tours which I have yet to receive and also for future booking co-ordinating with a documentary
I am making. He went beyond patience to explain and I am grateful. He advised me well so that I
Can make arrangements and understand what I am doing. Thank you. It was like an 'in person' dialogue
Which I so miss rather than the normal robot prompts, robot answering machines, and questions without answers. Thank you Mr. Bell!
I created a profile with my resume and contact information and have since received an incessant amount of spam calls/emails from Indian call centers. Avoid this website at all costs. Use a reputable job board like Indeed or LinkedIn instead.
I got several calls from an account manager named "Dyagala Sirisha" selling me premium services. After i paid 249$ i never heard anything from her or from Monster! Several calls and emails, i was told i cannot be given a refund! This company is a scam! Companies should stop using Monster.Com
The executive Rekhadi told me the subscription is for a lifetime. After buying the subscription, I learned it is valid for six months. I tried to enquire, but she didn't respond to my mail and call. I have raised the ticket, but They didn't respond to me. Even I am not getting relevant jobs. Most of the emails I have received are from scammers. Even the monster doesn't care about filtering jobs posted by the scammers. I am not getting proper responses from monster executives.
I purchased their monthly service which provide me to post a position on the website, at week 3 I had 3 applicants. When I called and asked why this happened I was told that I had the wrong "title" like indeed, snag a job, never told me this or gave me excuses they produced numbers which is usually need to find a good candidate. So they charged me $410.00 for 3 applicants. STAY AWAY FROM MONSTER.COM
I opened up my profile and updated my resume, then marked to allow recruiters to see my profile/resume. I was instantly hit with a deluge of calls, emails, and texts from india-based recruiters. At first, I didn't know if I could blame this on Monster, so I set up a google phone # and uploaded that as my contact # only to Monster. All of the worst, most unintelligible calls came through this line. I receive job postings that have only a scant relation to anything on my resume, and in high volume. Going on monster will make you miserable, and in order to find ANYTHING that is remotely appealing, you first have to sift through an exceptional amount of garbage. Other sites have been much more fruitful and useful, look elsewhere first.
Express Resume Services gives you no value for your money. This services claims to send your CV to more than 1200 consultant across India bust does not provide you the list.It has been a month and I have received only 4 emails from consultants that they have received my CV from monster. Snd its not that I am a fresher or unemployable. I am a SAP certified consultant. So I was expecting a better responce than 4 emails.
There are several types of scams in this world, but the biggest is always will be scamming people of money. The Monster.com is very much pro in doing that
What's monster.com:
1. A job portal where an end user can upload his profile and apply for job and get calls from recruiters
2. A database access for recruiters and hiring companies so that they can filter out their specific candidates profiles and calls for interviews
These are two usually happens in every job portal
But there's number 3 & 4
3. Instead of giving database/our personal data access to hiring companies they SELL at high prices to banks, nbfc, brokers, real estate agents, freelancers, insurances, fake companies, spammers, fraudsters etc
4. They ask money for profile upgrade or highlighting the job seeker profile or resume building etc they charge money and stops responding to candidates calls & emails
Monster a spam website, majority of the job seekers don't pay attention to it.
If you upload your profile instead of getting calls from recruiters, you'll get calls from loans, credit cards, brokers, real estate, insurance etc. Few of them defraud of your money.
They clearly sell our data to other agencies,
I approached an employee on LinkedIn and asked and he confirmed it too that they sell data to anyone even if it's spam or brokers or real estate, they don't care they just need money
If you don't trust me take a new number upload it on the website as a jobseeker along with your resume, wait for 2 to 3 days you start getting fake calls, spam calls from banks, credit cards, personal loans, etc
I have experienced and tried deleting my profile, after one month of inactivity and uninstalling the app i still get calls and they say they got my number from monster.com
This is a data misuse, i don't know NAUKRI.com does this but this is not a safe place to upload your personal details
Forget about jobs. You won't even have mental peace, you might lose money and time for fake job calls and interviews
Ask their employees they'll tell the truth
My order ID is ******* I paid 3K for resume writing. Please b e aware, we need to follow up after payment and it will not be helpful. We wont get any resume, Worthless piece of S****, dont go for premium service. If u go, its ur wasted money.
Monster employees have no idea how to help their customers. They also don't look past 2018 in their records. I had two resumes written in 2006. I paid $400.00 for these two resumes. I was promised that I could access my resumes anytime from Monster. I have gone around in circles trying to get these resumes. Monster says they looked all the way back to 2018 and they don't find anything? Really I used your service to buy these resumes? Then they want me to produce a receipt from 2006? I was able to find old emails regarding the resumes and finally pulled up some correspondence. I sent those to them and now they tell me that I have to contact another company? What? Why? Don't use Monster for Resumes because you get nothing but a run around and no actual human being to talk to. Then when you ask questions in the email correspondence that NEVER answer your questions! Worst service ever! Contacted the Better Business Bureau as well.
Monster never allows to delete our profile. It makes us to sign out when we are trying to delete from the database.
