I had canceled my services before the trial ended and now there still trying to charge my account. Sent me an email saying for me to log In and to cancel. 1st of all I'm not going through the trouble of password for something that was supposed to been done but at same time they trying to lower prices so that I can stay subscribed
Even, if sending a fax takes time with them, at least they still have some humanity in their heart to respond to your inquiry and not ignore what you are saying. They do respond to your email with a totally unrelated issue. Tried a few times to communicate with them, however you are on your own. There is no 2 way communication from this company.
I had joined because my friend referred me. The 1st day I used it, I CANCELED right away. They tell you $12 membership and in one day I paid $42. I contact customers service. (DONT TRY CALLING! THEIR AUTOMATED SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE, THEY NEVER ANSWER!) so I chat with them and they told me that the duration of my documents was more then 60 seconds and therefore I was charged more. I sent 20 pages so less then the 100 page limit and I got charge $42 I asked for money back they said they could only do $15 I wanted $20 atleast and said no. I canceled. They said they would give me a month free I said no because they were going to charge me another $42. Oh and before I finished sending my fax and they charging me $42 they blocked my account.

I didn't use the service AT ALL. Didn't send squat but was charged within days. I signed up & tried to cancel immediately but it said I had to wait for the card to process!? Why would I need to wait if I haven't used the service at all so no pending charges & am cancelling during free trial anyway? No need to process it if I am cancelling during free trial. They charged my credit card as soon as 2-3 days, never responded to my support email regarding the issue & they charged me again this month even though I was SURE I had cancelled via the billing tab on the website.
Strongly recommend against using this service. I signed up for the FREE TRIAL, yet was still charged $20. They had some ridiculous reason why my faxes - two of them - were the equivalent of 500 pages. Totally unreasonable in my opinion. Then when I tried to cancel online, it said the ability to cancel online wasn't available until my credit card was able to get into their system. Come on! THEY CHARGED ME $20! Clearly it's IN THE SYSTEM! I had to call their customer service number to request my account be cancelled, and got a support person on the line that had the heaviest accent ever. Could barely understand a word she said. STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME!

SCAM! Same as other reviews, it's a complete scam! They will charge you for incomplete transmissions while repeatedly telling you by email and on the dashboard that the transmission is incomplete! There is no record of "partially received" so of course, you send it again and effectively you unknowingly run up the numbers so there will never be a free trial. It's a complete scam and they're racking up charges on your credit card. STAY AWAY!
I had this service for over 10 years. Now starting in July of this year they increased my rate. Did not notify me, but OK I continue to pay the increase since it was only $2 but then they started charging me $10 every 2-3 times each month in addition to my monthly service fee of $12 saying I went over the allotment of faxed allowed for the account I had. Which I did not. They looked and show I was corrected and gave me a credit. Then the next month same thing happens again. The supervisor sends me a email stating I quote "each page sent or received that takes more than 60 seconds is counted double, (1 page sent in 70 seconds = 2 pages, 1 page sent in 130 seconds = 3 pages...)" Pages I receive are black and white. So I said " you are double and triple charging me for pages I have not received. My plan is 300 pages a month they said I received 600 pages based on the time it took to receive them, and that's there justification for charging me more money. They gave me a credit for my monthly service but then charge me over what I actually receive. For years it was always based on the number of pages received / sent now there trying to say it based on time which we of course can't verify.
Do not use them they are crooked.

The salesman told me when I signed up I would get 100 pages of sent faxes each month. NEVER told me about "duration". So it has nothing to do with the pages you buy, but how long it takes (and only they can figure that out) for those to be sent. They're happy to tell you that buried in the small print in the contract (and they all know right where it is when you challenge them) that, hey, you signed up for it. It's right there in the contract. Utter BS. The worst or the worst type of company. Stay away.
I had to fax a few papers so I signed up for the free trial. I tried to send the faxes and receive notifications that they were unsuccessful… YET I GOT CHARGED 30$! I called and they do NOT CARE at all! They told me "they took too long to send and receive ". Why am I being charged for something I had 0 control over? Thats a company problem not mine! All the compensation they were willing to cover was $10 company credit… so NO REFUND… I CANCELED THERE! Guess i lost 30$ Dont let that be you.

The worst service I have ever used. They double bill you without notice and the kicker, for the last 2 months: they crossed my fax number with local medical offices and now I receive SENSITIVE patient information to my fax number. People that are trying to fax MY COMPANY are getting blocked... I tried calling MyFax, their response is: too bad, too sad, and you're responsible for the billed pages. I tried calling at least 5 of the medical offices that are sending these to me and their response is: just delete them - when I ask where/who has my fax number, they say, sorry, not my department & good luck getting through their lines in the first place. What is wrong with this world? Absolutely insane. Needless to say, MYFAX is clearly at fault, cross using my fax number. I could not be receiving these many faxes from so many different medical providers, AND NOT receive my own faxes that my clients send me. Done, canceled, I don't even want this fax number to be associated with me. STAY CLEAR AWAY.

1. I subscribed both Myfax and Faxplus to send one important fax and planned to cancel as I rarely need to fax. I forgot to cancel Myfax before the 14 day trial ended, that is my bad, it was worth $12.00 to get this done. Myfax billing section has a "Cancel Subscription" option, which I tried to use, it comes back that my account isn't eligible to be cancelled via login and I need to use "chat". So, I tried the chat option, which after a few questions, finally said: "If your account isn't eligible to be cancelled via your login, then please contact support via (*******373) or chat with a live agent. " If my 15 day account isn't eligible for online cancellation, which accounts are? Why would they even advertise that option. I would not have signed up for Myfax if I had known I could not cancel online, anytime.
2. The fax number MyFax assigned to me belongs to someone else, an accountant. I received someone's private tax filing! I did not give the number to anyone else, but somehow received three faxes from people that I don't know and that were intended for someone else.
3. I had no problems with Faxplus and was able to cancel instantly online.
UPDATE: "Fiona" from Myfax.com responded that the cancel feature did not work because there was a balance on my account. The subscription fee was auto debited from my account on 8/2 and I waited for it to process to attempt to cancel online on 8/4. I added a photo of that transaction.
She chose not to address my other concerns regarding receiving sensitive faxes meant for other people and being given a fax number that belongs to someone else.

I cancelled my subscription online before it was set to charge me. I cancelled it again and asked for a refund but all I get is a generic no reply email. DO NOT us their website. It is a ripoff.
I have been calling monthly to get this canceled. Even had Chase dispute the charge which they did and then sure enough got another charge this month. Called again & asked for a supervisor and they can put in a request for a supervisor call back but it will be at least 72 hours before they will be able to call. Stay away.
I signed up for the trial period and was still charged because they said my fax took too long and for every so many seconds it's like you are sending more pages that you sent. Makes no sense. I faxes 2. ONLY 2 pages and they said I faxed over 100! Is this a joke? To top it off the fac never went through! They refused to give me my money back. Unless you want to give away your hard working money, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Customer service shows no sympathy whatsoever either! I wouldn't even give them a star rating but it says I have to give atleast a 1. This company should be ashamed!

I am a very old client. Had an annual plan of 500 pages. My number started with 1877. Some of my clients would not accept the faxes from 1877 numbers thinking it is a spam fax. I called the support to change the number. To my surprise I am still paying the same price but my plan is reduced to 200 pages. This is what you will get with this company for being an old client.
They charged me 20 dollars on a free trial saying the documents took to long to fax. Refused to refund. Huge scam beware fax was unsuccessful. Contacting my bank
Try to cancel this "service" and you'll continue to get charged. I cancelled last year (2021) yet have been continued to be charged by this pathetic "company." I have had to dispute a number of their continuing charges with my credit card company since they are so negligent. Stay away from these clowns as they are nothing but rip-off artist thieves! They don't have to behave like this but since they are so desperate they are always looking to steal another $10 monthly charge from innocent, unsuspecting customers thinking it's going to help themselves out. The result is a ton of terrible reviews. Stay away from these worthless psycho weirdoes. There are so many other legitimate online fax services that resorting to this "psycho-service" is only going to hurt you. Please heed my words and back it up with all of the other terrible reviews. It's a shame that I have to give you at least one star... if I could give you a zero, or negative, I would.
I used their services ONCE and since then they've been charging me for almost a year. The phone number for customer service was not active for a very long time and when I try canceling online it just errors out. I finally got someone on the phone today to cancel after almost a year of them just charging me and they refused to provide the refund. Hopefully, they actually closed my account.

So today I was notified that my credit card was charged by Myfax for almost $50.00, which I didn't authorize. I called them and was informed that they will look in to it and will cancel my service. I didn't have their service and they will send it to escalation to see what can be done. There was no supervisor that I could speak to and they couldn't help at all. So they stole my money and can't do anything about it.

Online profile "Cancel my Account" link is broken. You are offered instead a link to "Chat with a representative", but that link also is broken. No chat window starts.
You try emailing to have your account terminated, and you get a generic response email (see attached), again with instructions and links that fail, that circle back to the above failed methods.
So, then you have to call the toll-free number, state your fax number both by typing it in, and again verbally to the rep you may be lucky enough to speak with, if you can negotiate the stupid automated menus.
Then you get a "confirmation number" on the voice call, and you are supposed to get a confirmation email also (ASK for it! It is in the TERMS OF SERVICE)... but I am still waiting for that email confirming the account is terminated.
I will have to cancel my credit card before they take their next automatic payment.
