They have the worst customer service ever! I ordered a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes and waited 2 weeks, I had to call them just to get answers and they weren't helpful at all, they offered a refund, but I really really want those shoes! They are horrible, they don't even contact you when they are wrong for their mistakes. So I just ordered the same shoes that i want in www.robecart.com and I'm surprise because the service is fast and the quality is perfect.
I attempted to place an online order for two hours but could not get to my checkout site. I wrote to customer service who suggested I try LiveChat. I was disconnected once and the second time I gave my phone number and email address in case I was disconnected. I spent 15 minutes online and was disconnected. There was no attempt to communicate with me. I then connected with them again, but the salesperson - Val - was no longer logged in - he had disappeared along with my order. The next person could not find my order. I tried to make a phone order but the item I was looking for was now sold out - three hours in total, so not surprising. There was no attempt by Customer Service to rectify this.
Do not buy anything from this company. I ordered and paid for sunglasses in April. I have not received the sunglasses I ordered. I have received numerous standardised email, reassuring me that they are posted, or that they investigating the problem, or it is a problem with the local post office. All emails have turned out to be lies. I have lost hope that I will ever receive the glasses I ordered. But I can warn other potential customer. Beware

Company will tell you they have sent order and it isn't even sent. I bought some skin cream and it arrived way after it was supposed to. It wasn't the end of the earth, but don't be deceptive. This is not a company you ever want to do business with.
I really love the scarf - a very short one though.It's soft and warm and I just would love it more if it was half a foot longer. Well worth the price.
I love the cute prints and the comfort (they are like t-shirt material). They stretch and give as needed through the night. After a couple of washings I've noticed slight shrinkage, but not unreasonable. I found the pants tend to hit me closer to mid calf than near the ankle as depicted in the picture. The elastic holds it up just fine. The downside is however it's a bit expensive isn't it?

I was FRAUDULENTLY charged $700 three days after the store, that I drove TWO HOURS to, told me my order was CANCELLED (and it was an order for a $300 item!). They LIED repeatedly telling me they tried to "contact me." Tried to complain to Neiman about this. Two 15-minutes on hold calls, gave up. Then try getting your stolen money back! What a runaround. Emails, phone calls, credit card disputes. Still not a call from the "polite" salespeople at the store. Such a mish mash of incompetence and deception. This whole chain should not survive the coming recession...
I ordered a $115.00 Handbags from neimanmarcus.com and when I received, i was shocked. It was not in a factory sealed packaged box. It was as if they shipped me a tester unit. Its not provied good costemer service.
5 days ago, I ordered a pair of shoes for my friend's birthday from Neiman Marcus. As soon as the order was confirmed, I realized that I'd ordered the wrong size. I immediately used their Live Chat feature and was assured that they'd cancel the order. Around noon, I saw that the order had been taken off my credit card statement, as promised. However, when I checked again, the order was back on my statement! This time, I called NM, and was told that they'd cancel the order. The order was still there, so I live-chatted once again. The rep said that she'd contact the warehouse and stop the shipment. This morning, I received an e-mail: NM was "unable to stop the shipment" but I can return it for a credit. I'm not sure what else I could've done to cancel my order. I won't be ordering from Neiman Marcus again. Fsession.com may be the unique shop for me.
My hubby made a purchase of over $800 from neimanmarcus.com. It was meant to be my birthday present for my 30th(obviously a surprise). Alas, 2 weeks after purchase, the package was lost in transition and they had to open a claim form that took 2days-5days before they could ship an exchange/refund. Anyway, 3weeks after, claim form was processed, no exchange of purchase, and money was returned to his credit card. I of course found out about all this when my hubby was apologizing for not getting a gift he had ordered. The store didn't even offer him an option to purchase something else on the site... They must make so much money that $1000 was not worth the customer service in terms of ensuring purchase and customer satisfaction.

It was as if they shipped me a tester unit. It was intended as a gift. Even if you buy a fragrance from Walmart, Kmart, CVS or a street vendor selling fakes they are sealed in boxes.

Unreliable! I've been shopping NM for years... online & from catalogs. TERRIBLE. Website is never fully operational & in-sync with catalogs. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to order catalog items online & they are either out of product, product has not yet been released/delivered from vendor (so it's order ahead) or they're not even sure if they are going to get the product at all. I ordered a product over 3 months ago & I just got an email yesterday that said "sorry, we're not going to be getting your shoes in". Jewelry? Delay. Shoes? Who the heck knows if you'll get it. Walk in the store? If the way the sales people look at you is any indication, its questionable whether or not they're there to help you.
Because of Neiman's high calculation of estimated taxes, delivery & processing, and duty & brokerage fees already added to the final cost, I have my orders delivered to my cousin in the States who then ships it to me. This process is even more economically feasible than buying online from Neiman's and shipping it to me in Canada. So, my advice is to only buy from Neiman's online if you're desperate for an item. Otherwise, ur better off shopping in their stores when you're on vacay in the States.
Great customer service! I purchased a dress that was deeply discounted, and a week later I noticed that it had been discounted even further. Customer service refunded me the difference in price, and it was processed and back on my credit card in two days! Most other retailers will not do price adjustments for items that were on sale when you purchased them, but Neiman Marcus has a policy that they do price adjustments on anything within 10 days of purchase! I shop here a lot and have never had a problem!
