I just purchased a $670 gpu on Black Friday. The website indicated it was in stock. After I made the purchase they held my funds and said it wasn't in stock. Now I don't even have the option to purchase another since my bank account has the funds on hold. Now I miss out on a once a year timeframe of deals. They did not offer me any options of replacement cards, or anything. Just wait. SO FRUSTRATING.
I purchased a Black Friday Sale MSI Rtx 3080 12gb from them and my purchase went through. I'd been waiting months for prices to come down enough to buy a new GPU (for my work computer). They emailed me the next day to tell me "While our website may have indicated an in-stock status, one or more items in your order were not in stock at the time your order was to be fulfilled", by which time it was also out of stock everywhere else; I had no choice but to purchase an inferior Zotac 10GB model for the same price on Amazon. If you must buy something from them, make sure to call and find out if someone can get eyes on the product. Super disappointed, likely just stick to Amazon from now on.
I ordered a lenovo laptop battery. What I received was an inferior product. The picture shows Lenovo though. I sent it back and a month later still no refund. I have contacted the company more than once, but they don't respond back. It was a $96.00 item, so very unhappy with company. Buyer beware.
Extremely shady company to stay away from. I had placed a laptop order, while I'm traveling out of state and staying in a resort for a month, recovering from injury. They cancelled my order without even sending me any notification. When I called them to ask what happened they were abusive, hateful (because of my ethnic origin - I live in the US for 30 years, but this makes them treat you as a 2nd class person) implied I was a fraud and told me right away that my "account" was blocked. I never opened any "account" with them and tried to buy laptop as using guest option, like I always do with BestBuy or ebay. The woman in Newegg customer service was nasty from the first words implying I was some kind of criminal because I ordered to resort address and didn't think there was anything wrong with them never sending me a notification of order cancellation, while I waited for delivery wasting my precious time. They acted so shady as if they operate in the criminal world, and I do not trust they sell truly new hardware now, too shady company. I had bought the same laptop for the same price on ebay without any issues, using it right now and got a 2nd laptop deal from popular big box brick-and-mortar reltaler online, both delivered very fast and without a problem, to the same address where I'm staying. At least with reputable honest company and highly rated ebay seller I know what I'm dealing with upfront and can trust them. Newegg behavior would not be tolerated in the normal business world, I'm looking into involving the government to penalize them now.
Returned an item vis USPS and submitted an RMA per Newegg, who claimed they never received item and canceled RMA Resubmitted my tracking number from USPS and received acknowledgement from Newegg that item was received and refund was forthcoming, 10 days later I get an email telling me I needed to create RMA; which was promptly canceled by Newegg. After several calls to customer service I was assured everything was in order and it was escalated for refund. I just received ANOTHER notice telling me my return shipping label was cancelled. Over a month and no refund.
Order to monitor less than a year ago so it still had factory warranty the monitor started acting up contacted them they find every reason not to fix it or to use their warranty on it I had to use the extended warranty I paid for and they helped me but this company here is a joke. I would definitely go to Best buy or elsewhere worst customer service ever they will not help you they put you through 10 different people and every one of them will tell you the same thing that's out of my department I'll send you over here I'll put you over here hang on please hold it's the same game. Definitely would not recommend this place ever
You might find on this site what you looking for with even $20 or $50 cheaper but their support and refund policy is teriable and they are rude. I bought GPU international purchase and a problem happen in the customs they did not want to solve the problem to get the package back and refund me untill I used a US attorny to make them refund me. I tried all ways with customer support but they rude and hangup the chat on my face

Had ordered from then in the past with good results. This time -- a nightmare. Was not informed order would come from 3rd party seller. Confusing communication from both seller and Newegg. This was so bad, I think the seller is a scam company. Luckily, I got my money back because the item never showed up, even though website said it was delivered (see what I mean?)
I spent over an hour on the phone trying to figure out the right parts to buy to get my two Microsoft Surface Pro 3 laptops to be able to read SIM cards and get online.
The rep convinced me that he had figured out the right parts to buy. So, I spent $126 on two SIM card adapters and two PCIE cards only to get them and find out they don't work together.
Newegg will not honor returns and directed me to the companies in China. They want to charge me $17.50 per item to return them. Seriously?
Recommendation: DON'T purchase anything from Newegg that is not made here in the US and does not have a return policy. I always thought Newegg honored returns... I guess that was a long time ago. Now, they are nothing but a distribution center for cheap crap from China. Don't get stuck as I did. Not shopping there again.
They were amazing when I was growing up, roughly 20 years ago. They simply have turned more to caring about profit and not so much about the users. They are considered awful to use if you have any other choice of vendor. Don't be like tigerdirect...
Be aware that returns are not easy. In addition, they deduct all the shipping, taxes, etc. and you still have to pay return shipping. The shipping is over priced. I bought and returned a $478 item and I only ended up with $400 refund.
I ordered this SSD and paid for it, so instead of getting the item shipped, I get an e-mail the next day stating that my order was cancelled which I never cancelled; frustrated I got I turned around and ordered an SSD from AMAZON and in 2 days I got my order.
I heard about Newegg and thought to try it out. The only positive thing I can say is that my monitor arrived in 4 days and my tower in 5. Was all excited to set up my gaming system to find out that the tower wouldn't come on. Had my sons over looking at it and finally after 3 crazy hours realized that it wasn't even wired correctly. I think if you're going to pay these prices, at least make sure you have your people wire them correctly. Makes on very skeptical of reordering anything!
My daughter purchased computer parts from Newegg. We were out of town when it came as it arrived earlier than the time specified. UPS returned to item to Newegg and I have documentation that it was returned. However, Newegg refuses to give us a refund of the money or send us the items. Multiple calls have been made. Initially they said they would send the item, but after multiple calls told my daughter no. I called thinking they were not helping this 18 year old who had spent her graduation money on a computer she so desperately needs to have for an engineering major, but no they said they never received all of the parts back. I have proof from UPS and I told them I could provide but they tell me the same thing each time. So we are out almost 2 K for a computer we could not build. Lousy customer support. They really don't care at all about customer service. I would not recommend this company and heaven help you if you need customer support.

We ordered a gaming PC and once it was delivered and setup, we realized the graphics card was not working., We contacted Newegg and they gave us the information to send it back. After they received the product, they informed us the return box was damaged and they would not fix nor replace the gaming PC. The customer service on the website over the past few years has been getting progressively worse. The company gives estimated delivery dates that are often far off from the actual delivery date. When I had defective merchandise delivered the return process was an absolute nightmare and took over two weeks to have the issue resolved and have a new item sent to my house. The customer service is unapologetic and just follows policy and in no way tries to satisfy the customers needs.
I recently had to return a defective item to Newegg. Had ordered items in past that worked so no problems. But the wanted me to print out a $17+shipping label for return. They would charge me that and then when got item would credit item but not the extra $5 for taxes and shipping originally. I called and they said they would send me "free return label" which was only a a mail-it-yourself label and pay for shipping. I called again and they said they would refund my shipping if I got a receipt and tracking label for return shipping. But not return full amount of $23+ I finally gave up and called American Express Gold Card and disputed charge. After explaining that I had made several contacts with Newegg in one day and explained what they wanted me to do for returning an item, AE said not worth it for them to contact the company and argue this case for $23 and just credited my account. The last woman I spoke to at Newegg was very huffy and said that's your right to dispute it but they will contact us and we will explain our policy and you will be charged back. I would never buy from them in fear of having to go through a return. I have better luck with OEM electronic equipment at EBay with free returns, no questions asked.
Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
