Rip Offs. Don't buy from this company. They send damaged parts and won't refund. They don't even have a real store, they just broker parts. Buyers Beware RUN!
PoolSupplyCompany is not honest. The website says an item is in stock, but it is not. Your shipment confirmation with say shipped, but they don't have it, so it is not. When it doesn't arrive, you will call. They will tell you it is already delivered, but it is not. They will look into it and then say it is out of stock, but you'll get it next week. When you call a week later, it is out of stock, but you'll get it next week. Meanwhile, their website continues to say the item is in stock. The online chat person will say it is in stock. However, it is not-they are continuing to take people's money without delivering the product in the time period stated. And if you finally cancel because the idea of giving your money to this deceitful company makes you sick, don't think your refund will be too fast either.
I purchased a whisperflo pump rebuild kit and two other o-rings for my sand filter. Tritan II, TR-60. I had to wait a long time to get the partial shipped o-rings and when they did arrive they were not the correct parts. These were supposedly in stock parts so I can't understand the long delay. Chatted with CS rep who sent me an email claiming I needed to reply with attached pictures of their products. WTH? Anyway, I complied and then order parts from one of their competitors, PoolSupply. They sent me the correct parts in a couple of days. A few days later I finally got a message back from the RMA Dept that they don't refund orders under 25$. Great, they could have gave me that answer on day one of my complaint. I won't be using this company again and can't recommend them.
Order product once. They cancelled my order stating I did not verify the amount? When I called to question why do I have to verify? They call or email, however neither happened. They charged my cr card. So the lady assured me my product would be sent should not be a problem. Now I have two charges on my cr card & they cancelled my order! 5-10 days to give me my credit. Im calling the car card co tomorrow to report them!

Item shipped had previously been opened and was missing parts. Very difficult to get a human voice on the line. Must fill online form to communicate and responses are evasive. Customer service is negligible. 15% restocking fee, $10 shipping fee, even when they didn't complete the order. This is why Amazon.com remains king. Buyer beware! Do not use this company.

My Paramount multiport valve base had cracked leaving my pool not able to circulate until replaced. Ordered one from pool supply world and received the wrong part. Contacted them and they advised they would not send the correct part until an rma was generated by their team and the wrong part was sent back. Meanwhile pool is turning green. Asked for a refund and ordered the part from AZ pools.
Ordered parts and after checking several days later was told they would ship within 2 weeks. Over 2 weeks had passed and had to call again and still not shipped and they do not have any idea when they will ship. They gladly accepted my payment immediately when I placed the order. Requested an immediate refund but they have to 'cancel' the order and then stated the refund return time would be up to 'my bank'. Terrible customer service - they have no clue.
Failed to ship for 3 weeks, charged my card at the time of placing the order. Customer service never provided an explanation when the item will ship. I cancelled the order and got the item from a local store.
A week later this company sends me a tracking number. Sorry, I already purchased the item elsewhere.

Wouldn't return my money and wanted me to pay for restocking fees for a product lost by UPS. Finally received the pump the following week after purchasing another from a different company just to get my pool running. They offered no help with UPS no discounts for my time and money lost. Shop somewhere else with dependable customer service. I kept the pump lesson learned they were to much of a hassle.
Pool Supply World sold me an old version of some pool equipment that they had in their warehouse. I am not able to use this equipment with the latest features because the unit they sold me was two years old when they sold it to me. The more recent version that I needed was out for over a year already, but Pool Supply World only had old stock and sold it to me as if it was the latest revision. I now would need to spend over $300 more to get the feature that I wanted to work. Pool Supply World told me that they sell whatever is in their stock, no matter how old it is, and they consider it to be the latest! Buyer Beware! If you shop with Pool Supply World you will get what they have in stock, even if it is years old and outdated revisions. They don't seem to care.
Purchased their recommended replacement cartridge filters for my Pentair Swimming Pool filter ($170.00). I received a set of 4 Pleatco filters. When I went to install them they would not seat properly and therefore did not fit. After a weeks worth of back and forth emails with questions from their customer service department, they said they would authorize a return, and issue replacement Pleatco filters. I told them I did not want another set of Pleatco filters as there was apparently a production defect since the internal diameter of the filter did not allow them to seat properly. They said they would then issue a refund. When I sent the filters back they issued me a refund of $135. When questioned they explained the refund amount was less a 15% restocking fee and $10 delivery fee. When I questioned them saying I returned the product because it did not fit and it should be settled between Pleatco and them, they just reiterated that was there return policy regardless of who's fault it was. Won't be doing business with them again. By the way, this is Leslie's Pool Supplies with an alternative online name.
I purchased a Hayward filter for $253.00. It didn't work properly right out of the box. In addition, it was missing the tool that loosens the filter housing. Their response was to contact Hayward directly.
I have filed a complaint with the FTC Consumer Protection Agency
Ordered chemicals from them which turned out to be way out of date. Tried to deal with them by phone and chat and usually was "disconneted" when transferred. One manager, matthew, wanted me to use the chemicals in a manner inconsistent with the manufacturers explicit directions and then got angry when i wouldn't agree to do that. Said he tested water at a leslie pool store for years--like that's a vote of confidence. Told me the company was owned by leslie pools. I finally disputed the charges with american express. I will never, never deal with that company again. I see their reviews are consistently very low."
So I received my robotic pool clearer and it looked like the item was dragged from the warehouse behind the truck. The box was all smashed to hell. I sure hope it works. I immediately sent an email to the company and still waiting for a response. I should have looked at these reviews before I ordered from them.
Purchased a $280 motor block for my Polaris 9300 robotic cleaner from Pool Supply World. One of the wheel motors stopped working 3 1/2 months after the one year warranty expired. Pool Supply World's best offering of help was a $10 discount if I purchased another motor block from them. I think I'll pass on their generous offer.
Order the part on Sunday evening, Got it on Tuesday afternoon. FREE SHIPPING! And Fast service can get any better than that. From now on Pool Supply World is my new pool parts store.

I ordered a part in Feb 2014. They sent the wrong part. I called and emailed and called and emailed. It has taken 3 months to finally get someone to send a replacement part. THEY SENT THE WRONG PART AGAIN. Apparently they cant read. "K" does not look like "TSC" does it? So, after 3 months I still don't have my part.

Answer: I never received my Raypak after waiting 10 weeks. It took about an additional 3 weeks and numerous phone calls to get my refund.
Answer: Pricing was slightly better -- In the end, totally NOT worth it. I imagine if everything would have gone well it could have been a positive experience? However, if you have any issues, this may be the worst company on the planet to do business with. Horrible customer service!
