I was trying to reserve a room at the Coral Springs, FL on line and it sent me to a phone number to call. The person who assisted me was very patient because I was having trouble with my credit card and we were unable to complete my booking. I was making the reservation for family coming in and was able to go to the hotel and make the reservation. Your details regarding refundable cancellation are a little confusing and should be explained up front that you have to pay a premium fee for a full refund.

Was very good dealing with the agent. The only thing was that they agent should have advised that the booking from Canada was in USD and if there was an option to book in Canadian dollars. He was very helpful and pleasant and spoke English very well.

I thought I was calling the hotel directly. They answered the phone using the name of the hotel. Said I was getting a conference rate. Did not tell me the room was prepaid and immediately charged my card. I called back right away to cancel and was told the cancellation rate is equivalent to 1 nights stay. I said hell no. You misrepresented yourself and I will be getting a full refund!

Sergio lied to me: 1. He said he was front desk agent for the hotel. 2. He said he was arranging the lowest possible convention rate for the convention we are attending. 3. he insisted the reservations must be paid 100% now and they are not refundable unless I paid extra money for a refund policy. I agreed to all and he charged my credit card $1895. 62 for three of the four reservations and $1912. 72 for the fourth reservation. Upon seeing the charges on my credit card, I contacted IECA, the convention we are attending, and made reservations through their arrangements with Omni Hotel and got four nice rooms at significantly less cost and, only one night payment necessary for fully refundable reservations. I had to work for two hours of phone calls with customer service and others to get these cancellations accomplished. At this time, they are still not finalized and I am awaiting information from the customer service. Sergio is a liar and should not be allowed to make the kind of assertions and promises he made.

The woman I spoke to on the phone with to book a room did not seem to know what she was doing. She charged my husband's credit card twice. The first time was for $556 and the second time was for $697. The second charge was NOT the amount she quoted me for the room that was reserved. Now we are waiting to have these amounts reimbursed or canceled and I had to cancel the reservation. This was very frustrating especially just before the holidays.

I was told my credit card was declined. He would not try it again or confirm number i had typed. My bank had no transaction that was declined. Because of the inept person I lost part of my reservation
Furthermore ge never identified himself as working for booking.com. They phone number used for gbooing has an exchange from the area implying they are from the hotel. Clearly this is inorder to deceive people.

The first question out of my mouth was am I talking to the front desk at the Home2 suites, Northville, MI? You said yes, when really it was NO. You work for Expedia. That is misrepresentation. Horrible, that you can't trust people anymore!

I thought I had reserved a double room on the ground floor and I told the reservationist that I had a dog.
When I checked in, I was told there were no double rooms on the first floor, only 4 single rooms. That's not 4 single rooms available, that's only single rooms exist on the first floor.
The hotel clerk didn't know about my dog, which cost me another $50 and another $50 for incidentals that I wasn't told about by the reservation desk.
I ended up with a king room on the second floor as there were no double rooms available.
I got nothing I wanted and paid more for it.

Was lied to and overpriced for hotel rooms thinking I was speaking to the actual hotel funny how we were today we would have 2 queen beds when the hotel doesn't even have queen beds liars overpriced by $100 dollars for 1 of the reservations bs

You placed 1 room for Thanksgiving night at Quality Inn in Dixon, Il. You did this twice so I paid for the room twice. The quality Inn will not refund for the second room as they did not make the reservation. You will have to give the refund to me or I will have to go higher up. Thank you!

My experience on the phone with Guadalupe was excellent. I'm in a customer service role as a director of a national company and receiving good customer service isn't always easy. She was kind, helpful and threw a little bit of humor in. L, which was even more appreciated as I'm staying there due to a surgery I have the next day at VGH. She made the transaction a personal one and for a large organization like Holiday Inn, that is saying something. So well done and keep up the good work.

Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
