I am a Canadian citizen and called a Canadian number to book a Canadian hotel and was charged in US dollars without any notification that the agent was quoting US fees for this Canadian hotel. I am hoping this was an error on his part and will be corrected.

Appreciate your time. Hard at times to understand and need to contact again and see why a penalty for canceling if need to a few days prior to the 9th. Never had an issue before. I'm not canceling yet like to be clear on that policy. Thanks for your time
I wanted and specifically asked if the pool was working. He assured me over and over again that indeed it was working. I booked the room. Then found out the pool has not been working and will not be working because of repairs. (I got the actual phone number from a family member that lives in carbondale IL.)called the Actual front desk and talked to the person. Now to find put i may be charged for a one day room rate for cancelation is beyond reasonable. I want all my money back.
I had to give her my credit card # twice. Then she said it was declined. She was ready to hang up on me, she said "thank you for considering Hyatt". I gave her another card number, received my confirmation by email. She hung up on me, no words of your confirmation is this etc or even a thank you. I called my credit card company immediately (the one she said was declined) and they said that no request had come from Hyatt. They said that there was no problem with my card, I had $14,000. Credit available.
The website was identified as comfort inn reservation. The agent never identified as a third party and I was over charged for my nights stay by $40.00.
David is congenial, an absolute delight, listen to my itinerary to be sure I was being placed properly with ample room, an able to get to my final destination in a timely manner. In the hotel industry accommodation is paramount and he lived up to excellent standards.

Hector was helpful making my reservation. However. No information was provided regarding cancellation if that became necessary. We hqve had to cancel re a pending snowstorm on the 18th a d 20th. We live in Vermont and we're afraid we might not make our flight.mu husband has liver cancer and we can't undertake any more problems. I cancelled and this hotel is keeping 30% of the $4799 I paid. I am DISGUSTED. WHY WAS I not told this? We have stayed at the Hilton 2 times in San Diego a d were treated very well. We will never go to a Hilon again
Terrible, I thought I was talking to actual hotel. You told me only 1 room king suite was available, expensive. I sai I would check anouther hotel, you checked & said more money. Then suddenly 2 rooms were made available but still more $ than I paid last week. I took one. I got to the hotel they had lots of rooms and were over $50 cheaper & had breakfast. I was not able to get my points either. I even gave you my points. # and you never said anything. You were very deceitful and I never use your company again, will use my media to tell my story and make a complaint to your company & holiday Inn.

Got ripped off thought I was speaking with the golden nugget directly took my money even though I canceled the reservation 30 minutes after making it was not explained that will lose my money that's robbery

I made a same day reservation by calling your reservation hotline, believing I would be given a fair price. I was charged 428 USD by you for a one night stay at the DoubleTree Hilton at JFK Airport (12/14-12/15). Meanwhile I know that the hotel charged you 248.76 USD to your credit card ending in 7988. That is nearly 200 USD "surcharge"! I hope the payment you called up happened by mistake and you can correct the error by crediting at least some of the huge price difference back to my credit card. Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
