Item was correctly advertised and may be a little better than GOOD! Cosmetics are very good and it works just fine on my older Nikon DSLRs. Lens is just a little lighter than I thought it world be. But that is good also. Shipping was quick!

The M Zuiko 300 mm pro is a magnificent machine and knocks off the competition, to wit: I have tried the Panasonic Leica 100-400, the M Zuiko 100-400, and the day I purchased this lens became aware of the $7,500 price for the M Zuiko 150-400 pro. What a motivation!. My purchase price used in perfect condition was < 25% of the 150-400. I added a used and flawless MC-14 teleconverter, another bargain, for a max 35 mm equivalent of 1,680 mm, including in-camera digital reach of 2X [no stop down].
My camera is the Olympus OMD E M1X, which does not IS with the Leica, and partially, but impressively in comparison, does with the Olympus 100-400; the difference is in a keeper rate of near 100% cf. 10%. The 300 pro is amazing in combination with my camera. Stabilized in finding my subject and when I press half way on the shutter for focus the stabilization literally locks at 7.5 stops. The glass is superior to anything in the M Zuiko line, as I own other pro lenses, the 7-14, the 12-100. The all metal casing and operating feel are stunning, another distinction from the 100-400 M Zuiko.
Slightly less than 9" in length it fits with camera attached my backpack and Cotton chest carrier, and at half the weight of the 150-400 I surmise is easier to carry on hikes. The service at Roberts is what you can count on with Scott, Corey and Meredith.
I have overcome my sole misgiving that I passed on a zoom feature. Although telephoto shots are typically at max focal length, the zoom permits you to capture the subject, more so than to frame it. But, with the more than $5,600 saved, including teleconverter, based on the 150-400 pro and the astounding 146X magnification I am enabled to capture bison on a winter trip to Yellowstone or find wildlife on the moon.
