Bought crabs, snails, and a fish. Packaged arrived in 110 degree weather in late afternoon. I read on their website that they checked the weather? Opened box and it was like a sauna in there. All crabs and snails were not packed in water and were cooked upon arrival. Fish arrived in dirty swamp like water and I tried to save it, but it died 2 days later.
They gave me store credit for everything after arguing with them for 3 days. But now I'm trying to use up the credit and there's no free shipping unless I order double the amount and there charging $10 more for packaging?
I guess I'll clear my account out, but never again. BTW- There prices are $2 to $10 more than Live Aquaria.

I will never buy from saltwaterfish.com again. These people have messed up my order twice on the same order. They ship out fish that are in no condition to make it to the tank. I had one of the bags leak out and the fish was dead on arrival. The customer service is horrible. I've been hung up on after being on hold for over 30 mins! Then when do get a hold of them. I tell them the order is messed up. They are rude about it. Im taking my business elsewhere, no thank you. Good luck saltwater fish.com you need to change the way you treat your customers! Never again!

I have ordered marine fish and corals from this company for 8 years and will not buy again. The order was placed in my name; however, the company did not have available two of the fish I paid for. So, a call comes to the house while I am at work putting my husband on the spot that the only replacement available for a chocolate tang is a convict tang. I did not want a convict tang and considerable difference in price, tank compatibility, and brilliance exists between these two fish. My husband inquired about a refund for the fish not "passing inspection" which I believe were sold out instead, and was told by the representative that this was his only option. When I found out what occurred, I was very upset and the manager stated there was nothing she would do. She was rude and told me to donate the fish I did not want to a library or school. This is the most rude and unethical response I have ever dealt with. What I am doing in reality is accepting the blame for this company's bad customer service skills and donating money to Saltwaterfish.com for a product I did not want. This is a really poor way to conduct business. The manager additionally informed me that phone calls are made to households; therefore, if a child, guest, or whatever answers the phone, this individual will be making choices on replacements as stated "it is not our policy to request the person that placed the order in their name." I additionally paid additionally charges to Saltwater.com to have my delivery arrive prior to 12pm of which did not arrive until close to 4pm... so, some species were dead on arrival. That is, a box sitting in a hot FED EX truck for hours in Arizona in the middle of three digit weather. All in all, the customer service, service in general, and guarantees have changed. IT is obvious the staff and company do not care about the customers or having the livestock arrive safely. Would not recommend!

This site is an absolute scam. They ship dead fish and then claim to have a guarantee. When asked to simply ship the fish that were ordered we were told thats not how it works. By the time you apply the credit it doesnt even cover shipping on the next order. Then they again ship dead fish and wont credit you again because its against their policy. They have no problem shipping dead merchandise several times but only credit you once. Im out close to $100 from this site. DO NOT BUY, total ripoff

I purchased a Choati Wrasse from this site and it arrived in a cold bag dead. I reported it to the site right away with photos as they stated well within the 5 hour window to receive a refund. I didnt get a response until the next day and they issued a stone credit. I wanted a refund but I took the credit. I ordered a 4 Blue Spot Jawfish and a 2.5-3.25 Barred Goby with the credit. The order arrived and the Jawfish looked great but the Goby was very small about 1-3/4 inch at the most. I emailed them to explain I had a 125 gallon tank and this sized Goby would not be enough to sift the sand in a tank this large. The ignored my email and after sending 5 more I fiannly got an answer. They said Please take a photo of the fish next to a ruler and we will verify. I was like how am I supposed to catch a 1-3/4 inch Goby in a stocked 125 gallon tank? They ignored me again. Im not going to fight with these people over $20 but they wont get anymore of my money.

Decided they could not provide the fish advertised, claimed I would get a refund for one fish in the order. Still have yet to see it. The two other fish were shipped to me without any option to change, meaning I was charged full shipping despite getting a partial order. When the fish arrived, one was dead upon arrival, but since I did not have time to file a report without 5 hours of delivery, they claim they will only give store credit. Absolutely terrible experience. These people are thieves.

I am a frequent customer and saltwaterfish.com is awesome. If you have doubts call them and personally talk to them about any concerns you may have.
