Good after market help
I ordered some supplies to move some existing solar panels. It turned out that I had to make some changes to my plans, so some of the parts that I ordered were not needed. I was able to return the parts for a full refund. Customer service was excellent and, in the future for any solar power needs, I will purchase parts from SolarPanelStore.
I do highly recommend the Solar Panel Store, mostly because of the personal attention I got. We designed a 3.8KWh system for my barn roof. These guys, mostly Loren, took me step by step through the design process and made sure I got a system that fit my space and worked the best. The nicest thing is I never felt obligated or rushed. And of course the price was right. Right now I am about 50% solar and enrolled in a net metering program up in Michigan. I plan on adding more next year and I will be shopping right here. I create excess power during most days and burn it back up at night. They don't pay me for my excess but give me a credit for up to 12 months. After my next upgrade I plan on generating a net excess in the summer and use it up in the winter. I plan on being 90% solar, which is about as much as I can do under my program, as I can not sell excess, just get a credit for 12 months. I am told that is how many here up north do it. Anyone living in in the southwest is crazy not to go at least 40 to 50% solar. Some states are not being fair in what they credit but if you go say 50% solar it is not as much an issue, like if you live in Nevada or have batteries. Lithium batteries are still pricey but they are dropping in price. I did almost all the work myself, just some help digging a power trench and lifting panels. If you are reasonably handy (done a few projects, like installing an electric hot water heater or putting in a deck) you can do it yourself. As you can see I am a big fan of solar and The Solar Panel Store.
Were very helpful through the entire process of configuring my system, engineering plans and final installation questions. Would recommend this business to anyone wanting to install their own solar system.

I recently purchased a 160 watt solar panel and a few circuit breakers from the SPS. I had some questions about the panel, so I discussed the purchase with Loren, who was helpful and emailed me some photos. The transaction went well, with good emails as it was entered, shipped etc. It arrived sooner than I expected -- two days to Fort Collins Collins area. Very pleased with SPS.
