SpoiledChild Reviews Summary

The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with several customers praising the quality of products and the personalized assistance available during the ordering process. Many express satisfaction with the effectiveness of the products, particularly regarding collagen and hair growth supplements. However, concerns frequently arise regarding the complexity of the ordering process, including aggressive upselling tactics, unexpected charges, and difficulties in canceling subscriptions. Additionally, customers have reported frustrations with the lack of immediate support and communication during issues. Overall, while product quality is highlighted, the customer service approach requires improvement to enhance trust and satisfaction.

So this site offered a free trial period. And before they even sent out the product tried charging my card over $200. After that didn't go through, (thank god) they canceled my order. Some free trial!

Hi!
Let me explain what happened -- a pre-authorization was placed on your card (as stated at check-out). Not to worry, this isn't a charge! Pre-authorization is a fraud prevention method used by financial institutions to guarantee the safety of certain transactions. A pre-authorization, or a temporary hold, simply authorizes the card, the funds are still in your account and will not be transferred to us unless you choose to keep the product. We can't refund the preauthorization as the funds were never actually withdrawn from your account, but I can tell you that preauthorization will fall off / disappear (this normally happens within 4 days from the order). You will not be charged for the full price unless you keep the product(s). Sorry about the confusion.

Thieves!
January 28, 2023

1st I just looked up the site by answering the questions. My auto fill for some reason filled up payment options but I immediately canceled it. Well the next night, yes in the middle of the night 3am, my account was charged 70$ for something I never agreed to purchase. Impossible to contact them and can't seem to cancel anything even the auto refill. I'm certainly going to look into bring them to court. Scammers 100%
Had to rate in order to submit this review. If it could be the worst rating I would make sure it was added.

Bad Product, horrible Customer Service
January 24, 2023

I got scammed by this company, after I saw their advertisement on Facebook, I order the trial for $5, (yeah right) I got 1 product that I didn't like, it claims to be all natural but the smell is of harsh chemicals. I was not going to order again, but surprise, surprise, they try to charge my account for $175.00 I immediately went on my mobile app only to find out they had already charged $175 and were trying to charge it again for an autorefill. I check the receipt and they had charged me for 4 products and 2 free gift that I never got. I tried and tried to get ahold of them without success, they only answered back when I threated to file a fraud claim with my credit card (that I obviously did anyways) They have cause me headaches and anxiety. Do not buy this product, even if it worked, its not worth the hassle!

This past weekend I was trying to order the liquid collagen and ended up ordering the hair serum, which I don't need. I tried to cancel the order immediately yet they had already deducted $159 from my account without even having the product or stating that I wanted the product after trying to cancel the order. I have sent email after email and yet no response. It's not about anything more except horrible customer service. I don't want the product and my co-worker has already bought x's2 bottle of the liquid collagen. I can't use the hair or skin products because it carries items I'm allergic to. I don't think I would personally recommend Spoiled child to anyone in my family or my friends because of their horrible customer service. I will see how this liquid collagen works, most I'm going to stick with making my own hair and skin all natural products.

Scam
January 21, 2023

The trial price was $5. So I ordered it the ended up charging my account $115.56 plus $5.35. There is no phone number on website to cancel. I called my bank to explain how they advertised the trial price and got charged the ridiculous amount for shampoo and conditioner. False advertisement.

This company is total $#*!! I ordered my product over a month ago and it never shipped. I contacted them and they said they would replace for free. I received the box today and it was empty. I am beyond livid. I hope I get my full refund. But based on the reviews below am not sure I will. This company is TRASH. Be aware! I wish I had looked up reviews but I didn't.

Thought I would be paying only $5 for a free trial on 3 products. My 1st card got declined. I didn't know why. I had beforehand moved money out of my account just in case it wasn't $5 and I had to pay a little more than expected, so there was $10 left in my account. After my card got declined twice, I then used my AMEX card which also got declined and I got a fraud message from AMEX blocking a purchase of $162.56 from Spoiled Child! The short story being this site is a SCAM! DO NOT try to purchase ANY of their products!

I took the quiz and selected the products, I also selected the auto refills. Since the payment didn't go through, I'm hoping that I will not be getting the "auto refills" or any other charge(s) made to my 2 cards that were used.

Garbage
January 14, 2023

I've started having issue with my hair falling out, so I was trying to find a product to help it grow back. I found this place on instagram. The free trial period sounded good to me, and the reviews on the website were good, so i ordered. After I placed the order I just had this gut feeling that something was wrong. I was fully aware of the whole "placing funds on hold to prevent fraud" thing, but I still wasn't very happy about it. I went back online to find REAL reviews, and I found this website which confirmed my suspicions. Luckily I caught it early and called my bank the very next day to get a new credit card so they won't be able to charge me the giant amount (like $145). The charge did finally "fall off" but it took WEEKS not days like they said.
I FINALLY received the product today, after weeks of waiting and countless emails that say something like "we're so sorry but your package is delayed" etc. I do love the packaging and the concept could be successful if done correctly, but those are the only positives. The mask looked fine but the serum smells AWFUL. I sprayed it on my hand once to smell it and it made my asthma act up like crazy. I've been coughing for a few hours and I can't get the smell off of my hand. I don't think I want to put something that smells like straight up pinesol anywhere on my body. Needless to say I will not be using it. Steer clear and don't make the same mistakes I did. Always look for reviews outside of the product website itself before buying stuff like this.

Do not buy from them, I like so many others did the "Free Trial" only for them to charge me the entire $110.00 and tell me the charge would "fall off"
of my account within 4 days... its been over a week and it`s still there. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Customer service literally said "there is nothing we can do" and I canceled IMMEDIATLY after purchasing since I saw that charge and they refused to cancel my order.

Misleading Practices
January 13, 2023

The packaging looks like it costs just as much as the product, which I feel is a waste. The 60-day trial is misleading, as well as the ordering process, in which they lead you to believe you are getting these items for free but at the end of the 60 "trial period" I was charged not only for the product, but for the other items that I believed were free. When I requested a refund they told me since the 60 days had passed they could not issue a refund. I don't see a difference in my hair and the product smells like motor oil.

I wish I could rate them a zero. I wanted to try it out and have been trying to cancel and haven't even tried the product. I should've looked up the company before even signing up for the 'trial' you're charged for the trial and also charged IMMEDIATELY for the refills and there's no customer service number, no way of removing your card information. DO not do this for the love of everything holy. It is a waste and horrible horrible horrible customer service.

I submitted this to the company as a message. It's vital that you EVERYONE know this.
"Let your customers cancel at any time, let them remove banking information. Please respond to contact us and get a customer service number. I haven't received anything and NEED TO CANCEL."

Happy so far
January 9, 2023

I had purchased a trial of the hair serum for my husband. He's only used it now for 3 weeks but seems to like it. I was told that it was a 2 week trial. If I didn't see a difference, I send unused portion back for a full refund. I then read that it takes about 4-6 weeks to notice a difference, so I called them to return since trial ran out in 2. Told them it made no sense to do trial for 2 weeks is it takes 4-6 to see results. They offered me a $75 coupon to use on next bottle or a return label for a full refund for what I already had, I had no issues with customer service. They were very prompt and professional. They had charged my account for the first bottle, but I was ell aware that they would. Hense, the "refund" if item didn't work. My husband decided to use the coupon and give it another month to see if it actually helps at all. If it doesn't I can cancel my auto-ship with a click of a button and try something else, It's that easy I can tell you that I use their sister brand "ILMakiage" make up and it's the best I've ever used in that price point. So I'm hopeful that this hair serum will help.

5$ trial
January 7, 2023

I haven't tried it yet so I will come back and give a review after I use it. THIS REVIEW is in response to the reviews I have read. Most of them are 1star because you got charged the full price immediately which I don't understand what the issue with that is because it CLEARLY states right when you check out that you will be charged full price but will be refunded within a few days just to make sure that you aren't trying to rip them off and you have the money to cover it. The product must be good though because all the reviews that are actually about the product are all 5 stars and some with pics and results. So obviously worth the money to try out.
