I strongly advise anyone considering Stately Men to avoid them at all costs. I signed up for their top-tier "Presidential Plan" ($537), expecting a premium styling service. Instead, I encountered a company that misrepresents its products and uses a predatory "no-refund" policy to keep your money even when they fail to deliver.

1. Blatant Misrepresentation of Value: Stately markets "premium" curation, but the items I received were anything but. They sent a 100% acrylic quarter-zip sweater (Weatherproof Vintage) that they valued at $75 on their manifest. I found the exact same item on Amazon for $19.95. They also sent a blazer from a brand (Michelsons of London) that doesn't even sell blazers at retail, suggesting it's a cheap private-label item masquerading as a luxury brand.

2. Complete Failure of "Styling" Service: I paid for a "style consultation" to ensure proper fit. Despite this, not a single item fit. Furthermore, I explicitly requested brown shoes, yet they sent black ones. This wasn't a matter of "taste"; it was a total failure to follow the most basic instructions provided in my style profile.

3. The "Unjust Enrichment" Trap: When I contacted them to resolve these objective errors, they refused a refund and only offered "store credit". They provided a return label, and I sent 100% of the unworn merchandise back.

As of now, Stately Men is in possession of both my $537 payment AND the returned clothes. They refuse to issue a refund, effectively stealing over $500 for a service they never actually performed. I have been forced to escalate this to a credit card dispute and a CFPB complaint to fight for my money back.

Verdict: Do not trust the marketing. This is not a premium service; it's a low-quality clothing clearinghouse that relies on "no-refund" fine print to trap customers. Go to a local tailor or a reputable department store instead.

The service is not great, the stylist don't listen to any feedback. I purposefully mentioned not needing jeans or shoes and got a pair of shoes and jeans. When you try to exchange or return an item they make you pay an extra $18 for shipping or force you to put it the next delivery. Having tried stitch fix and this, I would stay away from this company, it feels like they are just pushing wholesale clothes or low quality. Out of the 2 orders I placed with them I only use item. Their app and website is also very clunky.

I got their most expensive $600 package expecting high quality menswear. (They on their site varvatos, joe jeans, scotch and soda)this is false advertising. They gave me a 13 dollar perry Ellis t-shirt. A $#*!ies jacket and a pair of Ben Sherman chukkas you would see at Marshall's. Do not use this company. They do not provide the brands they advertise. It's discount store crap.

Don't waste your money with Stately. The styles they sent fit poorly, and did not match the style and quality of their branding. To make matters worse, they offer no refunds, so your only recourse is to send back for "exchanges," all but ensuring the same experience in a slightly different color of fit. Do not recommend. Save your money and just shop off a site that offers a "buy this style" option like a suit supply (not the most affordable option, but demonstrates the concept). These sites are going to send you the exact clothes you expect, and have refund/return policies if something doesn't work out so you aren't stuck with $300 of garbage you won't wear.

This company is terrible. I don't think even care about what your style is. I think they just go to Ross Drees for Less and fill boxes with random crap. Sizes are so off and return policy is hidden so when you do return something they catch you in a loop hole so they charge you for their garbage rags anyways. There are so many better companies with integrity out there. Do yourself a favor and go to another one. All these reviews are fake. Who takes pictures of themselves opening clothing boxes like it's Christmas. Ridiculously fake!

Honestly a little disappointing

I'll admit I had quite high hopes for this service. Especially after using stitch fix for years and finally giving that up. The style picks are just ok and are often much bigger/looser fitting than I prefer, even after repeatedly giving that feedback. I also really don't like the exchange process. I think if you return clothes you should be given a refund.

They sent me clothes I didn't ask for. I spoke to a representative and remedy the situation. So I thought but they sent me the same type of clothes and shoes that were two sizes too small. I spent more time returning clothes and I have not seen a refund.

Don't waste your money

Stately is a bad service. Their clothing is of inferior quality. You can get styles from Pinterest and go to Nordstom Rack and do better for yourself. I had large sizes in my profile, but yet he continually sent me XL shirt sizes. Save yourself the headache.

BUYER BEWARE!

-they do not offer a refund.
-You pay $14.99 for each return even if it's a size issue. And by the time they get back to you usually they don't have your size. And you cannot make specific choices of clothing on their sitewhen you're in a subscription.
- Items that I received could easily be purchased at Ross or TJ Maxx.
- after my second return in the additional $30. They offered me a 50% coupon on the clothes they sent in my subscription. So that I could shop in there out of the box part of their store. I know that makes no sense. I'm just writing it with what they gave me. Stay away from this company by enemies necessary. Read even some of the customer service response to some of the reviews it will make you think. - customer service is a total joke. - Dealing with this company with great robbery.

The $14.99 fee you mentioned applies to expedited exchanges and is optional. We also looked into this and this was your second exchange for your renewal. While we don’t offer full customization of every piece, our stylists review your style profile and feedback closely to personalize each box.

7 days are too short

On the previous two orders, I have stuff that doesn't fit well and I just don't want. But the 7 day turn around time is way too short to realistically have time to try it on, reply, and box it up. So then I'm just left with worthless clothes that I'll end up donating. The whole reason why I'm doing this subscription is because I don't have time to shop normally. I'm going to end up Cancelinghu this subscription soon and just going back to Stitchfix.

1st Stately Box

Just received my first Stately box and I'm seriously impressed. The selection was spot on—two shirts, a pair of pants, socks, and a stylish grey suede belt. Everything felt seasonally appropriate for summer and versatile enough to wear at the office or out with friends. I wore one of the outfits they styled for me to a community Board of Trustees lunch and got multiple compliments—it was a great confidence boost and really confirmed that they nailed my style. I've tried other clothing subscription services before, but Stately feels like a step above the competition. The pants and long sleeve shirt fit perfectly, and it really seems like they took the time to understand my preferences. Can't wait to see what's in my next box—Stately is definitely off to a strong start!
