Stauer aggressively sells Platinum memberships when customers call to order products. At three different times, I repeatedly stated to the agent that I did NOT want a Platinum membership. When I received an email confirmation of my order, a membership was listed and included in the charge to my credit card. This is a dishonest and unethical practice to include memberships in customers' orders without their consent or even when a customer specifically says that they do not want a membership. Unless you check your emailed order confirmation carefully, you might end up paying for something you did not order.

I bought the tennis bracelet based on a social media post and am very pleased with it; love the golden pearl 12mm necklace as well. I also bought the layered necklace in gold and was very excited to receive it believing it would look really nice and high quality. However, it's VERY yellow looking and overly shiny which makes it obvious it's not anywhere near real gold. I included pictures of the necklace next to a couple of other real and fashion pieces so you can see what I'm talking about.
Given that you have to pay for shipping and also for return shipping should you want to return it I just decided to keep it but definitely disappointed in the overall look and quality of this for the price.

I bought a ring March 3rd and the end of May one of the small stones fell out and I couldn't find it I was devastated and cried showed my husband and he said that Stauer should replace or fix it, mind you, we are both disabled and the ring cost only $39.00 but with S&H and tax it came to $60 00, for us that's a lot of money. For a company like this they should take care of people but nope. The thing is I read all the reviews about the company and they were all great, the one that got me was the lady that had her ring for "10 years and was still good as new" they probably wrote that then self to sucker people like me in- well they got me hook, line & sinker! They said I was past the 30 day return/replace but I can back date and BUY a $9 99 1 year replacement guarantee what a joke! Just be careful because, I had to save up for this, like I said it might not sound like a lot of money but for once I really thought I was going to get a nice ring my husband has been buying me cheap rings for years and when I saw this one I thought this is it!
I paid for Platnum membership. You sent me coupons for money off "ANY" purchase. All rejected. Platinum membership is nothing? What are all the coupons for?
I found out that for some reason, every time I made a purchase, a new account was opened in my name.Therefore, my coupons couldn't be applied. There were 3 accounts generated under my name.

I ordered the Stauer Monaco watch. When it arrived, I could not believe how cheap it was. There is no weight to it at all. It feels like a toy. I tried to adjust the band but while trying to tap a pin in, I bent a link. I can't get it back together. Stauer contacted me and we discussed a satisfactory compromise. Their customer service department, and particularly Diane, did go out of the way for me and I appreciate it.
I've delt with many catologue companies over the years. The quality and service of Stauer is excelent in the varity of items, the mailing time and the fact that we have never had a problem with any of the items (mostly jewlrey) that we have purched.
