They posted a fake job posting and prompted me to sign up before applying. When I finished signing up, I went back to apply for the job and it wasn't possible. I realized that the post was an example of a job that I could get if I signed up and not for an actual job. It turns out the real application was to even be considered for jobs because they emailed me in the middle of the night to tell me that my profile wasn't accepted. I graduated with multiple awards and am looking for experience, but they're just looking to pad their bank account by taking massive billing fees from people who want to charge more.

Generally, Upwork is great, especially when dealing with clients that know their requirements beforehand. Upwork links you with clients that are of high value and professional. There are a few clients who just don't know what they want and it's our responsibility to break down the descriptions to them but there are a few of them who end up assigning the job without expert advice which eventually leads to misunderstanding and bad reviews.

Upwork is a fantastic platform for bringing the greatest talent and clients together globally. I've worked with several clients all across the world, and they were all extremely happy with the results. Clients pay for the work performed and the freelancer receives payment for the work performed thanks to Upwork's secure payment system. Finding the perfect match for projects is made easier by public comments and a freelancer and client rating system. It's an excellent place for freelancers to display their diverse skills through customized profiles. Thank you very much, Upwork!

And this is already a huge issue. Furthermore, they have a support team that is ready to help and solve any problems you may have whether with the platform, clients or payments. Just ask for help. Another advantage is vastity of clients you may find, and work with.

After this, and once the platform provides you with a lot of information about previous works from those clients, and others, you really get to choose if that´s a good fit for you, or not. Follow the rules, and you´ll be able to build a professional path.

One would have thought a job marketplace as safe as this would be unachievable, looking at the rate of cyber insecurity, but Upwork boast of such a safe virtual workplace environment.
Its impact to deflate balloon of skyrocketing unemployment is incredibly great.

I would Like to take this opportunity to thank you Upwork for maintaining a high standards which is what's makes them stand out and the only trustworthy freelancing platform.

However, the availability badge option should be reconsidered as it ask for a minimum of 6 connects per week to keep our profile visible which is not good.

Upwork is a relible source of income for me specially at the time of pandemic, I still remember the feeling of getting my first client, feels good that i will now start to work and earn money. That is because of upwork.

Upwork is that platform you can use to improve yourself and your ability to pitch and write proposals. It's a really competitive space so it'll challenge you to improve yourself to be able to get your proposals accepted and subsequently get hired by prospective clients. The only downsides are having to pay for connects and the Upwork service fees. I once got paid $10, for instance, by a client but I ended up getting just $7.0.

Upwork allows me to work from home and make decent money. I recommend it to all workers around the world, you will not be disappointed.
