Received my dog tags today and the best that I can say about them is that they are a cheap repro of the original dog tags that were issued.(don't waste your money on these dog tags). Mine went straight into the trash. A waste of 18.50...
I can not get a response from VetFriends concerning the defective merchandise I received. I either want a refund or exchange, but get no response from customer service. Terrible customer service and I will not order anything again unless this issue is resolved ASAP.
We hope your issue was resolved. If not, please contact support@vetfriends.com with your order number so they can clear up the issue.
I made a purchase through the website and added a discount code. The order was put the order as with the discount but charged my credit card the full amount. I have emailed and called and called with no response. Email was not answered... phone calls are put on hold and then say they are having technical difficulties. For a week?
Yes ma'am, we switched to a new site on 10/4/18 and were working out small bugs in December yet. With over 10,000 products and 2 million members we have lots of t's to cross and i's to dot. We have been a Veteran Owned Business since 2000 and we work very hard to keep our customers satisfied. Surely you got your credit squared away.
I cant find a phone number anywhere to cancel my subscription. They keep billing me and I told them I wanted to cancel my subscription. I want to report them to the bbn
Good morning Jennifer G, you can find our phone number on the upper right of every catalog page and here https://www.vetfriends.com/about/contact_us_select.cfm. If you purchased through Paypal, you need to cancel your autodraft as well. I don't have enough information here to look up your account. Please call 800-975-1618 or email support@vetfriends.com. I'm sorry for your frustration -Amy C.
This outfit is a total rip off, they keep charging my credit card with out my approval. They are a disgrace to all veterans.
Good afternoon William, we need more information to look into this. Please email me at publicrelations@vetfriends.com with the name you signed up under, the date you joined, etc. If you joined via Paypal with a monthly draft, you need to chancel through Paypal as well. We are sorry for any delay on our part. Amy C.
I never received my money back, after reading these reviews I am very ready to contact the national Veterans VFW, to inform the members regarding these folks. I asked for refund to my original lifetime membership, because of the incorrect information, charging my credit card for the wrong membership. They sent me a membership with the wrong name and because of that mistake, I believe these folks are not able to provide the service of finding vet friends. I have supporting mail with the inaccurate name to my address if need for proof of a scam. I will provide if required as proof.
Good afternoon Tonie, Please email publicrelations@vetfriends.com if this matter is not cleared up. We honor full refund of faulty products. Sincerely, Amy C.
Don't buy from these people. A month ago they sent me a defective hat. Emails, calls ignored. I filed a issue report with PayPal. They responded with well see you a new hat. It's been a month still no hat
Good afternoon Jerry G, I do not have enough information to look into this matter. Please email the necessary information, including name and order number to publicrelations@vetfriends.com if you did not receive a replacement hat. Thank you for your service -Amy C.
I have made repeated phone calls with no response and sent an email with my complaint and what I got back is what can I do for you I think my email was plain enough a two yr old could understand it I wanted to speak with someone over the phone and not through email and I still haven't gotten an update on my order ether I'm ready to contact my attorney general and the BBB
I'm so sorry we are just seeing this. We don't have a membership with this site. Please call 800-975-1618 if you this matter is not resolved or you may email me directly but I see you prefer not to communicate via email publicrelations@vetfriends.com. I do not have enough information here to look into your record of communications.
I didnt believe the bad reviews at first. As my 1st year membership closed, they beat me to the bank to get another years larceny, before I could stop them! I thought canceling the membership would halt the levy, but no!
So, inquired online if my money would be refunded - no response.
Next, I sent an email - no response.
What sort of operation is this outfit?
Conclusion: The Crooked Kind!
Stay away if you know whats good for you!
Reminds me of a saying;
A wise man knows it, and a fool wont listen!
Which do you want to be?
Sir, I'm sorry we are just seeing this. The terms and conditions state an auto renewal annually unless you cancel. I see here that you tried. Please contact customer service 800-975-1618 as I do not have enough information to look into the matter. If there is a record of your calls we will cancel it for you. You may email Customer Support at support@Vetfriends.com or me directly at publicrelations@vetfriends.com Sincerely, Amy C.
We at Glendale Daily Planet are doing a news story on useful services for Vets... Big question... is the lookup database more than what is avail for free elsewhere no reply from them. To what we have seen this is a product sales organization offering few if any outbound services that you can find anywhere else. Response to email was disappointing... Sad as it initially sounded so promising. I had to unsubscribe from their list mailer as I seemed to get an overwhelming amount of sales messages. Yet... the few emails I sent to them about the search service did not get replied to.
PLEASE if anyone can reply to me on the database please do.
Thanks Ed#
Glendale Daily Planet, the databases that are made available to our paid memberships are the main reason for our company. The other services that are available on our site are the extras that have been added from our response to our customer's needs. We have added a catalog portion to our company of military pride items. We have added a database for the country's many military organizations to add their information for our members to find others that they would have served with and can reunion with. We have many other pages of information to help those who have served to connect with others who have served. Please know connecting with others who have served is our primary objective. Our company is a small grassroots organization who has attracted many people, however, our popularity and usage of the site is usually sporadic, and not substantial enough to completely expand as much as we would like. We have a small customer service team that does all they can to respond to all of our customers.
In regards to your email to the search team, I do apologize for the inconvenience. I would need your email address to search for the information and to reply. If you would like, you can send the information again to support@vetfriends.com.
I tried calling them - voicemail, no call back or email.
I am trying to order a hat that is paid for but unable to contact them
Do NOT buy from them
support@vetfriends.com or 800-975-1618
Tried to cancel immediately when I saw what they were really about, but they already had my money. Tried emailing customer service, that was a joke. Then tried calling and leaving a message. Another joke. Had to go to my bank to stop the monthly payments. The 97.00 I mistakenly pushed, they seem to be keeping. Fraud and thievery BBB should be ashamed of themselves for even rating this group above a scam.
What we are really about is providing a website (which is due to launch an awesome, new update by summer) that veterans can search by unit, branch or conflict to find old buddies, reminisce through photos of then and now, remember cadences or find a light-hearted joke from days of yore. We make and sell military pride items that show support for our troops, then and now. It's amazing how ugly people can be when they aren't face to face. Did you follow the protocol to cancel your membership? If you didn't reach one of our local reps during business hours, you are in queue to get a return call. Did you leave your contact information? We are a Veteran Owned Small Business in our 18th year of promoting our servicemen and women. We volunteer at our local VA, support RED Friday and take care of our employees, some of which are military as well.
Thank you for your service during the war and may you find peace.
Amy C.
If you want to support China through the name "VetFriends.com" you are at the right site. Bought 4 flags 2 POWS 2 American and "ALL" made in CHINA. I am so glad as a 100% disabled vet my fight was for China, I thought it was for the US of A. I will have to see if my disability compensation starts coming from China. Never again will I deal with this cheap outfit marketing under Veterans coat tails.
Robert, I'm sorry you are so angry. We are a Veteran Owned Small Business in our 18th year of promoting our servicemen and women. We have several products 100% made in the USA and do much of the sublimation in house as well. Show me a handful of stores that are 100% American made and can compete with the big box stores. We volunteer at our local VA, support RED Friday and take care of our employees, some of which are military as well. Thank you for your service during the war.
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from them. I was billed for two items I never ordered. After, contacting them, I was told one of the items had been shipped to me. I explained why would I order a Vietnam item when my husband served in the Korean War. What scam artists.
Good morning Patricia, I’m sorry you are having trouble. Please continue to work with customer service to get this matter resolved at support@vetfriends.com. You can add “Amy: Sitejabber” in the subject line if you want. It is impossible for us to order on your behalf. If you accidentally clicked submit twice it may have ordered twice. This may be why we only sent one. We may have reached out to you about the duplicate or submitted a refund for the second identical item.
To be fair, most reviews are not updated by customers once a problem is cleared up. We are a small, veteran owned business formed in 2000 with a new mobile-friendly site coming this spring. The best and quickest means of resolution is directly through our website. We don’t typcially search review sites for complaints.
I will keep an eye out for your update on Sitejabber to confirm this matter has been taken care of and hope we will have earned kinder words at that time.
Thank you for your husband’s service and God Bless.

We will be watching for your response and we apologize for the confusion.
One star is one star too many for this scam group. I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this business. Shame on them for scamming veterans this way. I paid my money, and have not gotten what I was promised. My emails go un-addressed and there is no one to actually talk to when you call. They don't seem, however, to have a problem sending emails about things that they are sellingThis is a warning to all to avoid this business like the plague. I want my money back - in a check form - that I can take to the bank and deposit. Period.
Good morning Jesse,
I'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience with your order. Would you be so kind as to email support@vetfriends.com with your name, order number & approximate delivery date and we will check the tracking. If you receiving unwanted emails there is an unsubscribe at the bottom of the emails.
It was not our intention to give sub-par service.

I placed an order online and paid the extra shipping charge for 2 day shipping. The item took 3 week days to ship out. By the time the item shipped it was already late. I emailed them before the package was delivered 7 days after i placed the order with 2 day shipping. The email i sent requested they refund the shipping and handling costs. I received an email today in response to my email. Well over a month later. Do not use them. From what the email says the give poor customer service to hundreds off customers and takes months to fix any issues as well as no way to speak to a human to fix anything. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VETFREINDS.COM.
Good morning Richard,
I'm truly sorry for your dissatisfaction with our company. Although delayed, I hope you found the merchandise satisfactory.

They shipped me the wrong item. My receipt has listed the right item but shipped the wrong item. Left 5 phone messages and they have yet to call me back to fix mistake. Sent them an email, received a return email with case # but never received an email back. I believe this company is a scam.
Giving them 1 star is to many. Write this off to experience.
They are ripping off veterans who served this country.
Good morning Alan,
I am sorry we are just finding your complaint in January on Sitejabber. Please email our Customer Service Manager, Keesha, at support@vetfriends.com if your issue remains unresolved.
I promise you, we had no intention of a mistake in your order.

Ordered a hat with priority shipping for Veterans Day. A week late received email that the hat was out of stock and supplier would not be making any more. Did not give me my requested refund, store credit instead. Ordered another hat and have still not received it. The hat that is out of stock continues to be promoted in all the emails that I have been receiving since my first order. I will never do business with this site again and am warning all of my fellow veterans to stay away.
Answer: Al, Our shipping policy is to ship orders 3-5 days after receiving the order. If you ordered something like the dog tags, those take about 10 business days before we ship them due to the customization process. Please give us a call at 800-975-1618 and one of our agents will be able to assist you better.
Answer: No, that is not a problem. We do ask that you click the checkbox that confirms your military involvement. Also for our membership ID card, the service we use may be able to verify your status without the paperwork.
Answer: We do have one pin that sounds like it is what you are looking for. I have included the link. https://www.vetfriends.com/catalog/product-detail.cfm?id=3200
Answer: You should be able to log into your membership. Once you are logged in, you should see your level of membership on the top left of the page. If you do not see the correct level of membership, please contact support@vetfriends.com so that they can assist you in correcting the account.
Answer: Good morning, as a member of our site, you would be able to see any of our 2 million members that have designated the same unit or branch. You could then message them and reconnect. You can also add your reunion to our Reunions Calendar https://www.vetfriends.com/reunions/reunions_calendar.cfm. I hope your reunion is a great success.
Answer: Good morning Charlie, I hope you got your answer. The quickest way to get Customer Service is support@vetfriends.com or 800-975-1618 9-4EST M-F. Here is our FAQ page if you still need an answer. https://www.vetfriends.com/about/faq_catalog_purchases.cfm In a nut shell, yes, the Long Point Road address, include order number and your contact info so our team can call with any questions.
