I've been using vinted for several years now and its become more and mofe insufficient. They charge you to "bump" your own posts when Depop and Poshmark does not. They post categories for Tech and then once you post in it, they take it down. Sales are so slow on here and they make it so hard for your stuff to be seen. I'd stick to other apps/platforms as this is mostly a waste of time and energy. Their customer service is also the worst. Most of the admins are snooty and do not assist you AT ALL.

A seller on Vinted claims she shipped my item but it never tracked so I got a refund. Then suddenly because she told Vinted it was delivered (IT WASNT) they are demanding that I re-purchase the item or else I will be blocked from using the app and site EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO PROOF THE ITEM WAS EVER SHIPPED OR DELIVERED. Buyers beware this site is a total scam, and the seller is trying to get my money without me getting the item, and clearly Vinted is taking their side so they expect me to just dole out money without proof of receipt? SCAM SCAM SCAM STAY AWAY! FAR AWAY!

No! You did not block this account because of multiple accounts so why the $#*! are you lying! All my items are genuine the only reason why I made anoth r was because you! Blocked me for selling genuine items they are all real kylie stuff not fake I even showed proof so unblock this account now you wrongly blocked this account so unblock me right now or I will take this matter further for deleting customers accounts for no bloody reason so reply to this message cause that's why I had to make a new one in the first place!

I have been with Vinted since 2012 and never had issues until they changed their policy. My main review is in the comments. I have bought and sold many items on here and they suddenly blocked me because I refused to pay return shipping for an item that was labeled as the wrong size and it was damaged. I thought everything was under control after I talked to support and the next time I logged on, I was blocked. They took the sellers side even when the girl was a $#*! to me and said 'I don't give a $#*! about the $#*!ing size' and they never even gave me her address to ship it back

Sold on it for a year, there is NO protection for sellers, Vinted HQ is based in Lithuania, so no way to contact anyone for help. Payments are held, and there is a lot of scamming going on. Mods do nothing to control the site.Don't be tempted by the 'no seller fees' that's how they rope you in. One scam and you are out any money you might have saved. Customers know this and there is a lot of "I never got the parcel" that goes on. Read the reviews, and read their own forums before you get involved! This app is getting bad reviews almost EVERYWHERE!

I was a frequent seller on Vinted before they went through a series of unfortunate ill advised changes that affected their overall mission statement and the quality of their customer service which is almost non existent.
They do not respond to requests for assistance in a timely manner, it's almost impossible to reach a real person, and generally if you do reach them, they respond with an automated message showing that they didn't read your original issue and have no intention of helping you.
People complain about the fees Posh takes but I prefer to use them because they clearly care about both the buyer and seller whereas I'm actually not sure what Vinted cares about.
It isn't the buyer.
It isn't the seller.
Maybe they care about the fees they get from buyers?
I don't know.
Vinted is awful and I can't wait for them to crash and burn.
Which is happening and I'm gleefully watching it like Drew Barrymore in Firestarter.
I used to sing Vinted's praises but after the crazy changes they made, now I go out of my way to mention how horrible and useless they are.
Seriously, you'd be better off standing in front of a thrift store and trying to sell your goods then selling them on Vinted.

Ive sold things at the posted price on other sites, ebay, mercari even on poshmark, but here its impossible. The buyers are perhaps broke or stingy college students and they wanna buy my new stuff for 4 bux each. Very enraging. Maybe cuz most ppl there sell old junk from the garage. Ladies if you cant afford it, work, save buy it or find a better deal, but dont bring that pathetic low ballin anywhere. Go to walmart or platos closet, hell both are more expensive than my prices for trendy shoes and clothing u cant find elsewhere. As for the fee thats been charged to the buyer thats unreasonable. Overall I prefer to buy and sell on mercari which even offers coupons so ppl dont low ball me like crazy.

In my experience they have more loyalty to the seller than to the buyer that actually pays their fees. Customer support is very slow in response. They like to hold out as long as possible between the seller and the buyer when there is an issue so they don't have to get involved. It makes you wonder what you are actually paying the fees for.
I have purchased a few items from them as there seems to be a better selection of second hand items on there compared to Ebay for example. But I wont be using them again after spending so long trying to get a refund for an item of clothing that arrived stained and well worn, when advertised in a better condition.
Returned item arrived a week ago, seller has accepted the return and I am still waiting for a refund to be processed by Vinted.

I opened an account to sell a jacket. Within 24 hours after it sold I went to transfer the money from my Vinted wallet to my bank, but someone had already hacked into my wallet and took out the money and put it in their own bank account. Vinted did nothing to help me with this other than tell me to change my password and to use the transaction number for their website to take to the bank to figure out.
I have since went to the bank and they said there is nothing they can do since whoever Stoll my money out of the Vinted wallet did open a bank account with my name or social security number. When I attempted to reach out to Vinted to see what they could do, a message came up saying my "issue" was "resolved" and "closed". It was never resolved. They closed it on their own.
I will never sell or buy on here again! They do not protect their customers or help with issues their customers may have.

Vinted Keep taking down my listings selling replicas! Without warnings or time to defend myself showing invoices or receipts for those causations, I ask permission before selling NEW ITEMS for a non profit business and I was told it was ok, what proof did they have of my merchandise is in fact not original? All came from MACY'S Bloomingdale's now I don't have access to sales money for 7 days and that is not very honest business practice I never have any warnings you should let the seller know you have a problem ask for proof of authenticity BEFORE sanction the account, I have invoices to where my merchandise came from, all my pictures shows clearly all tags, signature logos package and every tag and labels what else did I need to upload for a original product? I learned that this app is full of hostile environment and cero care support from customer service

I bought a pair of boots, only one boot arrived (yes, folks, only one). I contacted the seller but eventually she ignored me. I contacted vinted help, and they say if she won't refund me, I am out of luck. I told them they are an online seller and I have rights. They said they are NOT an online seller. I said, oh, yes you are, I pay YOU and not HER. I will not use them anymore! I am still fighting this, and will take it to the government if I have to.

I purchased a bodysuit on their website and was excited because I had my eyes on it for a few months and finally had the money to purchase it. The seller however, sent me the wrong item and promised that she would assist me in either a refund or getting the correct item. I have not received a response from the seller in two days and Vinted decided to release my money to her anyways. When I messaged support to tell them about the issue they told me there was nothing they could do even though I made sure to notify them that I had received the wrong item. I also sold clothes on Vinted and did not like the fact that they flagged every item for the smallest things. It is very hard to make sales on their app and it is a complete waste of time. I never like Vinted and now I will make sure I never use their app or website again and I hope you all do the same.
