Horrible do not buy

Ive sold a few things but I purchase a shirt and usps said it was delivered to my mailbox and it wasnt there. They told me to contact USPS long story short they released my money to buyer KNOWING I did not receive my item. Freakin BS oh yea so I wanted to file a complaint to BBB but their company is located in freakin Lithiuania where never that is? I will never purchase anything from this website every again. Im assed out the money I paid for the shirt I never got. Yea Im still pissed anout it obviously. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS APP YOU HAVE NO PROTECTION IF ITEM IS LOST. I havent decided if I wanted to continue to sell on this app. Poshmark compensates you not sure about mercari? This company is bull $#*! JS

I have been a very active member for about four years now and I have never been more frustrated with the app. I have been retaking photos of my items so that they look better and sell quicker but since there is no way to search through my own items I have to scroll and scroll (I have a big closet) until I find the item I'm looking for and then once I do, the app very often shuts down as I'm trying to upload photos. If I do manage to post the new photos, I often have to try multiple times to choose my covershot before it actually saves. Also, it's very frustrating that only five photos are allowed. I have been leaning towards using poshmark more recently because that app doesn't have nearly as many bugs, I can search items in my own closet (based on color, category, size, etc.), post 8 photos, select covershots without issue, and customize my closet by sharing my items whenever I want (instead of the stupid bump system where only the new items ever get noticed). I highly recommend fixing the bugs and working to improve some of the features I have mentioned or you will begin loosing dedicated members like myself to the more superior apps such as poshmark.

I bought a dress off the site but the girl sent me something else. I complained and she said she had mixed up the parcels. She told me an address to send the dress I received to and promised she would send me the right one. I sent it to the correct recipient at my own cost but never got the item I ordered as it was never passed onto me and then I was blocked.
I sold a playsuit and had posted it out to the buyer that day. Vinted had recently sent me a coupon for a discount off any item I choose, which I decided to use. I used the was then banned until 2020, supposedly for using the coupon they sent to me. I never got the item I bought with the discount despite paying some money towards it, and eventhough I posted the playsuit via tracked signed for delivery to the buyer I was never allowed to withdraw my money from the sale because vinted blocked me. It was a £38 playsuit. They made up excuses to ban me without allowing me my money and claimed it was because of the coupon they sent which they said was in error. I don't see how I was expected to know it was an error it said they were giving it to users as a treat and incentive to boost the site and then they block you for using. Why send me the coupon if you dont want me to use it? The answer because it's an excuse to block you from withdrawing your money from their site when you sell something. So they stole my money, several times. I never got the money for the item I sold, and never got any of the items I bought either. Total scam.

Horrible Experience! Swapped with a seller she sent me wrong package, I asked for my end of swap back, at a value of over 4000! She blocked me and kept my items, Ive been buying and selling for years I checked her stats she had great ratings
IM OUT 4000. 00 She had blocked me.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, DID NOTHING THEY HAVE EVEN ALLOWED HER TO KEEP HER ACCOUNT... SEQUEL1 is her name, BEWARE.
LASTLY ALL MY ITEMS ARE 100% AUTHENTIC
Be prepared to have items constantly removed stating not authentic, They have no clue on how to authenticate and Are NOT qualified to remove such items! I have sold over 1000 high end designer items over the years and have never experienced such poor customer service, be prepared to wait 2 to 3 days for a response, I get home roday to get notification that my account is locked for 7 days because I had an Aurhentic Givenchy umbrella listed with all necessary tags and embossments. They stare its counterfeit are you kidding me! I am done with Vinted!
Sellers run for the hills!
Hope this message helps all who are thinking of selling here, I'll stick with tradesy and the Real Real

1 star is to good for them

I have been using Vinted for over 3 years. It used to be a good site to sell on and i used to get regular daily sales until they got rid of all the staff and got rid of the moderators and started messing around and doing updates which weren't needed

The site is no longer a good place to sell. People want something for nothing and want 50% bundle deals on £1 items. The forums are full of people swearing and arguing with each other.

Customer service is diabolical to say the least over a week to respond in some cases. You have to pay to return items not as described which is all wrong in my opinion.

There has also been a lot of sellers selling stuff fit for the bin and then not answering questions and vinted not helping and just closing cases.

I would honestly think long and hard before thinking of selling on here

I bought a pair of shorts that I received completely destroyed. I asked for a refund, and they claimed they couldn't reimburse me for the return shipping, but that I would get a full refund after I showed them proof of the tracking number. I didn't hear out of them for 6 days, but during that time, I kept messaging them in the chat box because they were reading it (it tells when they've seen it) and completely ignoring me. Then they had the nerve to tell me that by me messaging over and over again, they were going to delay my refund. I contacted PayPal and had to open a claim to get my refund, which I received within 10 minutes of being on the phone with PayPal. Now, today is has officially been two weeks since my "refund" was supposed to arrive, and I have had no response from Vinted. I can't even delete my account because the purchase is "still suspended and under investigation." Useless app, delete it!

Stay far away from vinted the forums are rampant with mean shallow petty girls who bully you for speaking your mind in a public forum. You will be harassed attacked reported ect. There is no moderators and good luck getting in touch with somone if these petty girls don't like you they will report your items as fake and try to get you blocked. Stuff does not sell on there and everyone wants it for cheap. No customer service.

Best advice that I can give is to stay away from this lousy site. Anyway most items are junk. But if you do deside to buy it, you are on your own. There is no customer service. No one to help you. And if you are lucky enough to find someone. Good luck. You have to pay for the return shipping. So now you have a damaged item that is completely useless and you have to pay to return it. So you are going to be out of 15 bucks and you probubly paid 10 for the piece of czczcz that you purchased. NICE. NEVER AGAIN. BE WARNED.

I just started using vinted. I didn't know that you couldn't post photos from the internet. Instead of giving me the chance to fix it they just deleted everything from my closet! I'm so pissed because it took so much TIME to post each listing! They used to charge 19 percent fee. But now it's free for sellers so I thought I would give it a try. No wonder they had to lower the cost of commisssion. They suck and no one was using them so this is their way of luring people into using their app. SMH.

I've made many purchases from here before. Have had good and bad experiences, mostly good but it's normal not to be able to have perfect transactions all the time. Always be careful of purchases as I have had received fake replica orders as well. Just be careful

Disappointed

I've been selling on vinted for many years and the majority of it has been really good. However ive recently had a problem and I'm astounded at how bad vinted dealt with it.
To cut a long story short I sold a pair of brand new genuine Micheal Kors boots worth over £300 to a seller. When she received them she decided they didn't fit so wanted to return them, I'm a fair person and said it was ok to return and sorry she wasn't happy with the fit.
She told me she couldn't post back right away as she was moving house. I said there was no rush and to let me know when she has posted, I even said I would pay for the return postage!
3 months on and they still haven't been returned to me. So basically she has my boots and has had the money refunded to her.
I've tried to contact her and she has blocked me and vinted have said because it was 3 months ago then there is nothing they can do now as I've let too much time pass so they've closed the case.
I honestly just can't believe it. I feel you have no rights as a seller whatsoever and feel completely scammed and let down by the vinted team and by the app.
I've been selling on the app for years and have sold over 200 items with 100% positive reviews.
I've since deleted my account and won't sell on there anymore.
Please be careful when selling on this app as there is no support whatsoever when things go wrong... I've learnt the hard way.

Porque, aalvarado2600 me vendio una bolsa Michael Kors con una cartera y el mensaje decia que la bolsa estaba en very good condition y cuando el correo me la entrego y abri el paquete la bolsa estaba muy sucia de tan sucia que se miraba amarillenta, me comunique con vinted en seguida y les envie fotos de la bolsa y quedaron de resolver el problema y yo mande la bolsa para atras pagando yo los cargos, y a los 2 dias la persona resibio la bolsa para atras y llamo a vinted y les dijo que yo le abia mandado otra bolsa que no era la misma que en vez de la Michael Kors yo le abia puesto una coach y eso es 100% mentira y vinted bloqueo mi cuenta en vez de bloquear la de ella.

It became pure crap

I used to sell on Vinted Lithuania when it was still a small company. Now they got big and just cannot handle it! Customer service is awful, I got scammed the did nothing. No protection for sellers. Too lazy to answer or properly check issues...

Twice I have purchased items not as described and vinted does nothing to help the buyer with what they purchased. They gave me a time ultimatum and closed my case because the seller and I couldn't reach a conclusion in time, due to the seller purposely stalling.

I've had Vinted for a little while now and have had little problems here and there but recently I've been having major problems When I post my items like my Tiffany and Company items in my authentic Louis Vuitton items (I always post the date code and I get my bags authenticated and post proof of that as well) they delete my post and suspend my account for seven days, I will email them over and over again with the proof that it's authentic and they keep telling me my items are "inauthentic ". This is bull$#*!! Customer service is $#*!ty and the authenticity team is a bunch of people that just do research on google. I've had my items authenticated at the Louis Vuitton store and they are still saying my bags are fake! Unbelievable. I'm deleting my account and I don't recommend anyone ever using this app. It's terrible!

I made my first purchase via this webiste a few weeks ago. I purchased a dress from a seller who took several days to allegedly post it, but i received NOTHING. I messaged her via the site and she produced a proof of postage label that claimed it has been 'delivered to a neighbour'. I was left no card by my postman of where the package allegedly was. I add here that I have had numerous packages delivered to neighbours over the past few weeks (I am an ebay buyer and seller by trade) and ALL have been left cards for and received. I contacted the seller to let her know this and she in turn contacted Vinted. They eventually conceded that both her and I will be refunded for the missing dress. So far, she has been refunded and I have received NOTHING. I have meesaged them several times to ask where my refund is, and they have not replied at all. I have now had to open a court claim against their company by locating an East London business address for them, to try to get my money back. PLEASE NOTE! THIS COMPANY IS BASED IN FRANCE AND RUN BY EASTERN EUROPEAN DIRECTORS. Trying to gain recompense is nigh on impossible by the looks of it. They offer NO PROTECTION WHEN YOU BUY AND PAY. THERE IS NO COMEBACK FOR BUYERS WHATSOEVER, UNLIKE EBAY WHERE PAYPAL OFFERS GREATER SECURITY AND FEEDBACK HAS SOME CLOUT. AVOID THIS SCAMMER COMPANY CALLED VINTED!

I posted this before but it was deleted on their site as they don't want users to know how they work.
I purchased a bundle off a user. I created the bundle and she deleted it telling me to just purchase one of the shirts for $75 ($86 after I paid shipping and my service charge to KEEP MEMBERS SAFE OF SCAMS!)
I got the package it was empty. Had not been tampered with or anything. I messaged vinted and they told me to file a USPS claim wanting them to take the fall. After I explained (again) the package was NOT damaged or opened, that the seller sent this bundle empty they told me they'd contact the seller. They do so and said because the seller has tracking or proof she sent they are going to release the funds. This site has scammed me $86 & this seller has gotten away with it 100%! VINTED DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, AS LONG AS THEY GET THEIR 10%. It's ashame too as I was going to start selling on here. I'll be filing a charge back with my bank and I'm filing a police report on this girl. I will NOT tolerate a site allowing scammers to get away with this! I'm SO UPSET!

I bought something from a seller who lied and the item. I asked hinted toggle me time to send the item back because i did not have the money at the time to do so. They didn't respect that and released my money to the seller. I sent the item back and now the seller has my item and my money. I had to open a charge back and will never recommend this site to anyone. Buyers are not safe on this site and i will make sure to let this be known.
