The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding its customer service and support mechanisms. Many users report a lack of effective communication and responsiveness, with automated replies dominating interactions. Concerns about fraudulent activities and inadequate buyer protection are prevalent, leading to financial losses for both buyers and sellers. While some customers appreciate the platform's user interface and initial successful transactions, these positives are overshadowed by the overwhelming sentiment of frustration and distrust, indicating a pressing need for improvements in customer service and policy enforcement.

They are not professional in their work. I sent something out and the girl that bought my item didn't want to say that It was delivered. Once she finally delivered, vinted wanted to just keep the money I made since I don't see a trace of it anywhere.
Would NOT recommend. The site is not secure for card payments and secondly the support staff are not helpful if you receive an item you are not happy with. They will basically tell you to sort it out with the seller and ask them for a refund which can be difficult to do. I would not trust this site. I am hoping Poshmark will do a UK version soon
Awful site. Blocked my account when I sold half of my closet so all of my pending money never got into my account and stole my used clothes and $200 of my money! Dont trust scam scam scam!
Hate it, first purchase was not as described, absolutely, NO concern from vintage, dropping this app.
They will only pay you the money you made if you give them your banking information and social security number. They won't send a check or link to PayPal, which in today's day and age is just bad business. When I contact them about it saying I want comfortable with giving them that I was told to just use someone else's account. C'mon now!? And now they won't let me delete my account. I want no part of this horrible site and they are making it impossible. I feel like they robbed me since I can't access my money without basically saying here, steal my identity. HORRIBLE.
Vinted just blocked my IP Address! Saying I have multiple accounts and on the email they sent me it says " to find out more info check our terms and condition" or contact us. Which I can't check because my IP Address is blocked! I can't access my account, I have $120 in there. So I guess I've been scummed by vinted! I tried sending emails but they never reply. And from researching I'm not the only one that's been scammed by vinted! So stay away!
Just recently signed up for Vinted and it is terrible! Do not waste your time uploading items! Unlike other selling sites there isn't a way to "renew" you items, so your item will eventually be pushed back further and further and most prospective buyers aren't going to look all the way to page 6 to find something. They remove and delete your items- honestly just pretty much all around terrible site. As a seller on other sites, I would give Vinted a negative 10/10.
Vinted is one big scam!
They wait till you sell an item then they block your listings or even your account! Saying your selling commercially?! When really just trying to sell old clothes?! They take all your money they took £65 from me then deleted me and then there 'support' team didn't respond to alllllll my emails, fuming!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Vinted! I have poshmark as well but this app is so much better and much more simple. Vinted lets you post pictures that are yours only and not some picture you stole online that a size 0 model is wearing. They have much more rules and restrictions than poshmark but I love it. That is why this app is so simple to sell and buy. It was super easy for me to learn and over all I just love it. I have no complaints besides the fact that there should be more people on it like poshmark. Because there are soooooooo many people on poshmark and vinted doesn't have many girls selling so I don't really see new stuff that I like on there often.
Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
