We signed up with wedding wire in December 2021believing that it would be a good fit for our business - on a 30 day trial - we were told, at the end of the 30 days i tried to cancel after receiving about 25 bogus generic leads that i never received any replies for. I said please cancel my account - they immediately said there was no cancellations. I argued for 2 weeks with several contacts and they all lied!
I was lied to by a sales rep and did not get it in writing because i trusted this company. Do NOT do business with these liars and fakes! Horrible company XERO STARS rating!
We started working with wedding pro 4 months ago to sell our video production services. We would receive fake leads and a lot less then they promised. We are not happy with the service but are stuck paying for the next 8 months with no way out of the agreement.

We exited the wedding business. We completed our current contracts however we do not want to receive inquiries anymore. They ABSOLUTELY refuse to let us take the listing off. We continue to get emails and angry customers that do not understand why we still have a listing but will not allow them to book a wedding. We still want our previous couples to feel special so we did put pictures up of them on social medial. We also do note that we are not booking weddings going forward. The ridiculous "customer service" representative keeps emailing that "it is our goal to provide our users with a trusted resource for all vendor information. We do not remove information that has been posted about a business that are still actively servicing weddings". I again- in 3 separate emails- advised that we finished contracts but will no longer book. Yet they still refuse. They want to look like they have a lot of venues. I wonder how many of them are real and accurate. The goal is clearly not to be a trusted resource when they are knowingly sending coupled on a goose chase. I had to change the image to the attached to stop the emails.

Unfortunately! I trapped with 1year agreement and pay $212/month, i received contact buy never came back. I felt like its setup a robot call. I would never renew my subscribe for the next year. Not recommend for small size vendor like me. Just waste your time & money!

I would give them less than one star if I could. This company will do whatever it takes to prevent you from cancelling your contract, even if you are not getting any good leads. My profile, even with a higher-level listing, never showed up on the first page when a search was peformed for my area. They also lumped all of the next-largest cities' listings in with my area, so that it watered down the effectiveness of the my listing. It was a pointless contract, but they would tell you over and over how many leads you were getting, yet had no stats about how many of those were actually booking (maybe 1% if you were lucky). I cancelled my contract and am now sold out every year. In addition, you cannot dispute bad reviews. They allowed a negative review having to do with COVID and nothing to do specifically with my venue, to stand even after I disputed. Then they sent me to collections because I requested to cancel and they dragged it out for two months and then proceeded to try to charge me for two more months. Just an unethical, garbage company. Stay away!

I'm really not a complainer - but please don't advise with Wedding Wire or The Knot. They are way overpriced, have not provided the promised amount of clients, and I have had several scammers send phony checks for possible weddings. Even after I informed Wedding Wire (Knot) of these scammers they still keep showing up.

We are from Texas and looked online to find a wedding planner in Destin. We chose Destin Wedding Co. And we are so happy we did. Susan was wonderful to work with. The day of the wedding, their entire crew was so professional and organized. They made it look effortless. Kristina was awesome, her confident and calm demeanor was amazing as she managed the schedule for starting the ceremony. The preacher was great, ceremony was beautiful, and we couldn't have been happier. The food for the reception was outstanding. We couldn't be happier that we chose them and it was such a perfect day, including the weather!
I'm a wedding vendor, and thought signing up for the Wedding Wire would be a great way to market my business. Wrong. Although the customers are great, the billing system for the company is unreliable and comes out different times of the month making it difficult to specifically nail down the payments and budgeting. Due to this, a couple payments did not come out of my account as I was not expecting them to pull on these random dates. I arranged a payment plan to work this out, but after they had helped me navigate getting them the right amount, they ended up pulling everything I owed and CONTINUED to pull out the payment plan in addition to my normal $175/ month. After many phone conversations, I was told a supervisor would get back to me- that took 6 days for them to do, which they only did because I threatened legal action. After FINALLY getting a call from my rep, they tell me that I owe them $ and that they can't cancel my account until April. Apparently they lock you in to $175/ month for a year but don't even tell you! Long story short—- don't waste your time with this site vendors, it's a waste of your money.

Don't fall for this scam! I pay $444 a month for no real leads! The leads I receive are from African scam artists to contacting me for non existent weddings! Weddingwire locked me in this 1 year contract with talks of all the clientele I would receive for paying $444 a month! All the help thats available for me to be successful! I did better on Instagram and Facebook for free! I average 10- 20 gigs a month. In 10 months of paying $444 a month, I have only had two weddings using weddingwire and the knot!
I am so glad I only have 2 months left in my contact! Shame on you weddingwire & the knot. I should have read the reviews instead of listening to their sales persons. Please learn from my costly mistake and don't fall for their lies! They will not help your business, they open you up to scams. Now when clients contact me I have to have zoom meetings just to make sure they are real couples. I never had this problem before joining weddingwire and the knot. Stay far, far away from these scam artists!

I cannot say enough great things about Carla and her team. We hired Precious Times Events for our daughter's wedding and Carla's communication with us began right away. Carla made sure we were on track with the hiring of our vendors, shared many suggestions to ensure the process was not stressful and, above all, made sure that we were feeling calm and reminded us to enjoy the journey.
I have a type A personality, and have met my match with Carla. I had high hopes for a coordinator's assistance -- for both prior to and during the wedding -- but Carla far exceeded even my expectations. She anticipated my questions, advised me of things I hadn't foreseen, and was always one step ahead of me. Carla's team was so well trained that they were completely on top of all my unusual requests without needing a reminder. Unbeknownst to me, Carla had several "Plan B" options up her sleeve in order to alleviate any last minute scrambling for unplanned circumstances that may have arisen.
My daughter's wedding day was made perfect because of Carla and Precious Times Events. I was able to relax and enjoy my family and our celebration because everything went so smoothly. Carla became a friend for whom I will be forever grateful.
If I could post 20 stars for Precious Times Events, it still wouldn't be enough to do justice to the professional and expert coordinating services Carla provides.
They are scammers. They try to convince you that you'll get leads but you won't. Half of them are bots. Just like the people themselves. They also suck you on a contract you can't get out of unless. They deserve to be taken down. Here are screenshots of the convo.

Been with them for 8 months, never had one single quality lead. I let them know back in May '22 that I wished to cancel and they refused to cancel it. Their billing delay now calls me every day, EVERY DAY via a blocked number. I have re-stated that I do not want to use this service anymore and how they have only sent empty/fake leads to me whom which none replies ever. I get leads on my own on Facebook and my personal website and i have never run into this issue. I will always get a response from my own leads but never from theirs?
And they have an answer for everything, of course. "You have to follow up" like I didn't?

I call these clients, I email them and message them through their own platform and never get a response? You can't tell me this isn't sketchy when we're talking about over 30 "leads".

I used WW for my last wedding about 10 years ago and they were great! Lots of functionality with the websites, user friendly, etc. Fast forward to today and I have no idea what is going on at that company, but so many things are nearly impossible to use. When you search their forums for help, there is no obvious way to sort the results (I have no idea how they are being sorted tbh because it's a hot mess) so you get all these effing post answers from 2017 or 2014 that have nothing to do with how things work now. And don't get me started on using the wedding website... omg. You used to be able to customize the background with your own images, etc, and now you have like 7 super basic themes to choose from and I CANNOT figure out how to upload my own background anymore. Tried to search the forum for help and lolllllll you guessed it, get a bunch of jumbled up posts in no discernable order and cannot figure out how to see posts from 2022. Add to that the fact that you used to be able to change wording on RSVP options to soften them from an idiotic "YES" or "NO" to "we will be there in spririt!" or something like that. Why would 10 years go by and WW has LOST functionality instead of becoming even better? All I can think is that their company is a sinking ship and there are not enough employees to keep the quality up, or there are new owners who cut corners and have let the quality go to hell. I am so so so disappointed in everything about their service. I am an incredibly tech-savvy person who works for a software company myself, and yet I cannot figure out how half of their crap is supposed to work. That should tell you something...

We have two beautiful banquet halls we promote on WW & The Knot spotlight ft for $4k a month. It's now 5 months in we've had 1100 "so called leads" and not one booking. We have a team of people responding all the time so there's no reason other than its fake... Think about it. $25k spent not 1 booking. Wedding Wire is a scam for vendors.
There's 0 excuse after spending $25k and not one booking. Our venues are very luxurious and have amazing content to showcase and we have ppl following up.

I signed up on Wedding Wire as a vendor. Beware of you sign up as a vendor. You must agree to a 1 year contract which they will not release you from. I didn't receive a single lead for my services during the 1 year period. The main issue was they put me in a category which was not representative of my service. I tried repeatedly over the one year to have them change the category, but they refused. As such, I spent approximately $200/month with no return. I wish I had never signed up and put that portion on my marketing budget into other areas in which I had greater success.

WEDDING WIRE/THE KNOT/WEDDING PRO... DO NOT DO IT! I REPEAT DO NOT DO IT AS A VENDOR! I wish I would have just simply googled before I signed up b/c there are HUNDREDS of vendors that advise against it! It is a complete and total scam. I have been unfortunately stuck in their scam of a contract since September 2021. A contract that has yielded little to no results. Wedding Wire is also know as Wedding Pro and The Knot is under the same company. They lock you in for a year. YOU WILL NOT GET regular leads. 95% of the leads you will get ARE SCAMS/BOTS. They DO NOT CARE! And they will NOT terminate your contract! They even changed what they promised me and still will not terminate my contract! I'm making it my business along with so many other vendors to spread the word everywhere! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH WEDDING WIRE/THE KNOT/WEDDING PRO!

We used this service for a client for 6 months and every single lead we received was fake. It's total garbage and not worth your money. After signing up they refuse to take our calls. They refuse to cancel. I don't think advertisers should be using this service. You'd be better off with Google Ads. At least Google doesn't lie to you.

For the price you have to pay its not worth the money! You really don't get leads no matter how much information you put on your profile. The leads you do get don't even respond and the question they ask is a blanket question that they are interested in your product. Wedding wire locks you into a 12 month subscription with no option to cancel! Even if you are not satisfied nor have not gotten any leads. We were definitely over sold! Don't waste your money!
