I ordered 3 items online. Upon receiving them I tried them on each for less than
A minute. The dress was too big and one top I did not like. I immediately packaged it back and sent it back the next day. After about two weeks I was notified that the top would not be refunded due to stain. There was no stain whatsoever. When I finally got the top back, it had no stains on it. I sent Bebe photos of the front and back of the top, and they won't even respond back. I used to shop at Bebe stores all the time. But, the online is horrible! Terrible experience. Will not shop anymore!
I purchased a dress from Bebe.com. Upon receiving it, I realized the dress was spandex and did not look as pictured online. I did not even try the dress on and returned it in the original packaging. I called their customer service a week after the tracking information showed the package was delivered and was informed they had not received it. I also sent an email to their customer service with no response. I then called again over a week later to confirm they had received my return. I was then informed I would not receive a refund due to an alleged stain they found on the dress. Since I had not tried it on and barely took it out of the package, I knew this was untrue. I asked if the bag had anything on it when they received the return. The customer service agent stated it went to a different department and she didn't know. This is completely ridiculous. I will NEVER order from this company again.
This is an update from my last review. So where we last left off... bebe promised me a refund for the two bodysuits that they said were stained (yah right). So I ended up getting refunded for one bodysuit a couple weeks after my phone conversation with them, even though they said in 3-5 days I will get a refund. So I wait a few more days for the second refund and nothing. I paid with PayPal and I had to file a dispute within 45 days after my purchase. It was getting close to the 45 day mark so I just filed a dispute with PayPal for the one bodysuit. I wasn't going to let bebe keep stringing me along until time ran out and I couldn't file a dispute anymore, which is exactly what they were doing. Gave PayPal all my evidence and then a few days later PayPal refunded me because I won the dispute. Duh! Of course I would because bebe straight out lied about this whole "stain" story. So bottom line is bebe is scamming everyone. I'm boycotting bebe now. So sad since I've been a customer for about 15 years. Oh well... there's way more stores out there that don't scam their customers like Marciano and BCBG.
P.S. One of the recent reviews titled: "Love bebe and will always order from them"... Oh that's bebe reviewing themselves. Take a minute to read it and you can totally tell that's bebe trying to save themselves. Kind of weird how all these recent reviews are negative and pretty much the same about bebe scamming us. Then all of a sudden a rose bursts through the concrete..."oh bebe is my go to", "I love bebe", "I've never had any issues." Blah blah. Nice one bebe!
Bought five bodysuits online a few weeks ago. Three of the bodysuits were completely see thru when I held them up to the light so I didn't even bother to try them on. So I kept two of the bodysuits and returned the three see thru ones. Get a credit for only one bodysuit. Call customer service and I can barely understand the rep because their customer service is in another country I suspect. She tells me they only refunded me for one bodysuit because the other two had stains. First of all, both bodysuits that were supposedly stained were black. How can stains possible show up on black clothing unless it was bleach or oil. Second, I didn't even try the bodysuits on. I'm very picky about my clothes and always go over clothes I purchase with a magnify glass to make sure there's no damage. There was absolutely no stains on those two black bodysuits. It's a total scam and judging by other reviews it looks like they're saying the same thing or something similar to a lot of people. I was not giving up and argued my case with the rep. Eventually she said they were going to refund me. We shall see. If not, then I'll definitely be taking this up with PayPal. I've been shopping at bebe for about 15 years. Practically all my clothes are from bebe and I can't tell you how much money I've spent at bebe over the years. This is my first time sending an online order back in the mail. I usually would return my online orders at the store so I'm not sure if they've pulled this scam before their stores shut down. It's a shame they're doing this because they are losing their customers that have been loyal for all these years. Please, if bebe does this to you, do not give up and let them scam you. Fight for your refund by going to your bank, PayPal, etc. and get your money back. The more they do this and win the more they're going to get away with it.
I will stop shopping with them. I ordered a top and literally had it on for less than a minute. Shipped it back and got an email from their customer service saying the item was stained. There is just no way! I think they try to hold on to any money they receive based on their financial performance and declining sales. So girls, be aware that they might not refund you money and will make up some lies that the item returned was damaged/stained. Please take pictures of everything you ship back so you can at least dispute with your credit card company.
I ordered a dress online but they sent me a completely different dress in the mail. The order was correct but the dress was not. No big deal I thought. I called them to let them know so that they would send me the correct dress and I would send them the wrong dress they sent me. They told me first I had to repurchase the same dress over again (so now at this point I have been charged double for the same dress) and they emailed me a return slip in which I had to pay for shipping to return the wrong dress they sent me. Why do I have to pay shipping to return the dress when it was their fault? It has been over 2 weeks and I still do not have my refund from now being double charged for the same dress (they have the wrong dress they sent me back now) and of course they are not responding to my request to have the $$ refunded to me for shipping the wrong dress they sent to me back. Great clothes but horrible customer service. LuLu's is a great alternative and their customer service is fantastic.
I have ordered and bought from Bebe forever and have never had an issue. I am so sad there are no "stores" to go into however for the past couple years I have found myself ordering online anyway...
I have never had an issue with any online orders. I have found the staff extremely helpful with refunds and exchanges and continue to order regularly. Bebe is my go to for all of my clothing.
I absolutely adore your clothing! But tax for everything besides prace of the clouth is ridiculous over 60$ I must be joking:$ I'm so upset :(
I ordered a dress and paid 15 dollars for express shipping. It took over a week to recieve the dress. And when you speak to customer service they barely speak English and they wouldn't give my 15.00 back.
I bought 2 jackets on Bebe.com. Came home it was too long for me, I didn't even try it on. Put back in the box and return the next day. Check my bank they only refun for 1 jacket. I email them they said the reason they only give me back 1 refund is the jacket have some scent. I called customer service she was really rude! She said she will send me back the jacket. I told her first of all I didn't even try it on, second what I'm gunna do with it when it doesn't fit me? She said well then give it to some one in a very mean tone. I just want to write this to warn everyone to be careful when you order thru Bebe. I love to shop online and I do it all the time. I never have any problems with any other websites. JUST BE CAREFUL!
This store is a complete JOKE. I purchased 3 dresses a month ago and returned all 3 the next day via UPS because none of them fit. I was refunded for all 3 dresses a few weeks later. I then get an email from the distribution center advising me that they are charging me for one of the dresses because it's damaged with "tears all over it" which is IMPOSSIBLE since I literally took it out of the bag, tried it on, and placed it right back in the bag. The customer service rep who I am on the phone with now barely speaks English, and I've requested to speak with her supervisor "Kath", but I've been on hold for a half an hour because "Kath" is likely avoiding me. This is a total scam, and it's no wonder all the locations have closed. Shame on BEBE. I will never buy a thing from here again, and will make sure no one I know does as well. SCAM
I've always been a Bebe Clothing Store fan. Their stores were fresh, clothing fashionable and classy. They were my go-to- shop for evening and semi-formal wear. They recently closed all their retail locations and took everything on-line.
I was looking for an special events dress. I ordered three dresses from Bebe.com.
NOTE: Part of Bebe.com's on-line campaign was their return policy. Prior to their on-line, most dresses were Final Sale and not returnable. So I made sure what I ordered was returnable.
I tried on all three dresses, I kept one and promptly (the next day) returned 2 them. They accepted and returned one dress. The second dress they sent me an email saying I sent it back with a bad odor and it's against their return policy to accept any clothing with stains, damage or odor.
My reply: "That's impossible! What you shipped me is what i sent back. I merely tried it on, didn't like the fit, put it back in the package and mailed it back the next day. So whatever smell you claim it to have is the way your company sent it to me. I live in a clean, pet-free, smoke-free household. I'm highly annoyed to be accused of sending something back in that condition."
Their reply: Same as before, Dress is not eligible for return becasue it has an unpleasant smell.
My reply: "That's unfortunate. You just lost a customer for life and I will tell all mu friends what a scam this was."
I then posted it on my FB page, their FB page, here and I will do the same on their Instagram and Twitter Accounts if they have them.
UNFLIPPIN' BELIEVABLE!
Don't buy this dress or any dress from this corrupt company. If it is too big they will refuse to honor your refund. When my dress came I held up the dress through the plastic and already knew it wouldn't fit and sent it back the very next day. After a month after Bebe received my returned package per my tracking date of delivery I followed up asking where my refund is and they said the dress was STAINED! I couldn't make this up if I tried. It NEVER CAME OUT OF THE BAG! So how could it be staineee? I Know Bebe is struggling financially since they are closing all of their stores but to dupe customers out of their money is a FRAUDULENT crime - do not buy anything from this company unless you don't mind never getting your money back if something is wrong with your order.
I have been a loyal Bebe shopper for years, never abused the return policy and have spent thousands with them. I recently bought some items, had no idea they were closing and told the woman who rung me up that I needed to try an item with an outfit before knowing if it would work. I wanted to return the item and under their return policy was entitled to do so but now because they are closing they will not allow me to return my purchase. I'm disgusted by the way customer service handled this situation and could have cared less to maintain me as an online customer. In addition the quality of the clothes have gone way downhill. I think Bebe is probably doomed and won't survive and maybe that's for the best. Time for me to change my loyalty to a better retailer
Good for Bebe out of business. Hahaha!
The worse return policy and customer service!
I stopped shopping here, after wasting so much money that could not be return because sales are final!
Just to be clear, I am leaving a review for bebe.com.
I have grown up knowing the Bebe brand, and have been a loyal customer. It was sad to see such a successful brand start closing their stores, but at least they still had an online presence. Unfortunately, I was, and is, the worst online retail experience I have ever experienced. I hope that someone from bebe finally takes a moment to read this and remedy this situation.
When I received my order, I decided to make a return. I searched everywhere for the return label, but realized there was not one. I then read the order form and realized that I had to purchase my own postage, or go to a store. I was stunned by this because most major retail stores, especially higher end ones, provide return labels. I also went on your website and read the entire return section and saw an option to print out my label. I was unable to, so I decided that I will ship it for $20 -- no choice. I followed up with two emails after to inquire about the status of the return, and both times, my emails were completely ignored. I then called in and the representative informed me that the package has not been received. However, I knew it had been received 5 days ago because of the tracking number. The service representative was "nice" in the beginning, letting me know that she will have someone call me back, but when I asked her about the return label, she became defensive and rude.
First, I was told that I didn't get a return label because the jumpsuit came from a store, not a Bebe's distribution center. Since stores cannot generate return labels, I didn't get one. Now, I am sure that whomever is reading this can imagine how ridiculous this sounded. As a customer, I was unable to choose whether to have the item shipped from the store or from a distribution center, yet I got penalized for it. Furthermore, it is not the consumer's fault that Bebe has not streamlined their online shopping experience. Again, why am I being penalized?
Second, when I voiced the same concern above to the customer representative, she argued with me that I could have printed the label online. I clearly stated that I could not, but she insisted, so I requested that she guide me towards it. She did, and again, I got an error message. Her response was something along the lines of, "well, I can do it." I wasn't sure what she intended to achieve by saying that. Should I have applauded her for being able to do something I couldn't accomplish because of some sort of technical glitch?
I followed up with emails, chats, phone calls and have not heard back. Instead, I was either hung up on, or ignored.
Made an online purchase the dresses look horrible and do not fit and they refuse to make the return. Won't ever shop here again even at the store they are rude
I ordered merchandise for my wife on 12/9/2016 and 2 of the items that i purchased were to big. My wife did not like the merchandise so i decided to return them on 1/3/2017. There was a $17 fee via UPS to send the merchandise back to Bebe. The merchandise was received by Bebe on 1/9/17 and signed for by an employee named Cliff at Bebe. On 1/17/17 i contacted Bebe and asked them when they were going to refund my credit card since they had received there merchandise back. The gentleman on the phone told me that they smelled like cologne and laundry detergent. I told him that these items were only tried on by my wife and they were too big. These items were purchased online and NEVER worn. They were returned with the purchasing receipt and the tags still on the merchandise. They continued to tell me that they were not going to refund my money. I have been a customer of theirs for over a year and will NEVER purchase from them again. In my mind, they would rather rip me off roughly $120 on UNUSED CLOTHING instead of refunding me the money and keeping me as a customer. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE. IT IS A RIP OFF. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL MAKE ANY EXCUSE POSSIBLE ON NOT REFUNDING ANY RETURNS!
I brought a coat from bebe.com. However, it was too big for me so I return them back. They refused to refund and claimed that the coat was dirty. I asked them to give a prove. Keep waiting for two weeks, I didn't receive any response until I sent a email to them. They replied me that they had included a photo as an attachment on this message as a proof that the Belted Wrap Midi Coat arrived in poor condition.
THE STUPID THING! I bought a black coat, but they gave me a picture of a grey coat. Are you kidding me?
They just shipped back the coat without letting me the results of the research first.
Awful customer service, I will never buy anything at bebe.com
Bebe will not refund 100 dollars because it was a final sale. The will not issue a store credit either. I will never order again and beware of their policy.
Bought a dress from store. Came home & noticed there's a little stain, tried to return it & managers refused to give me refund. On top of that, talked rudely to me and informed all other employees to ignore me. I haven't wore the dress, it has all tags and 21 days policy hasn't expired. I have no clue what to do with the dress now. Oh and one of the mangers told me, "We won't give u refund, if you don't like the dress, go give it to someone as a gift!" I payed $160 for the dress! I left the store speechless! Crazy I have never came cross just a horrible customer service experience.
