Overall nice business with a great selection to choose from, with very easy to read information. Unfortunately, after 4 orders of multiple books, 2 orders had damaged material. I don't think it is from shipping, it looks more like a tear. And even though its small, I assume the regular customer is looking for perfection when buying. I expect a near mint item when the order is for a new condition book.
We bought the Barron's regents review books and paid 8 dollars extra for the books to be delivered in one week but the books were never delivered and on the 8th day we looked ad our order and it said that it was out of stock and that we had to backorder it. I was very dissatisfied with their service because I was really looking forward to getting the books early to study for my tests.
Though all the products I have ordered, I've been very satisfied, the customer service is terrible and the shipping takes forever. If you need a product in a hurry, order from somewhere else. The wait is rediculous.
Not sure how the hell this so-called "christian" company got my email, but the $#*!ters have been spamming my email like crazy. WTF?
Still waiting on my bible, i ordered back in December. Feel like im getting the run around evertime i call and inquire about it. They should not charge shipping if its not gonna arrive in desirable amount of time..
I trusted this business to get my books to me on time, but it didn't happen. Thank you "Christian"books for ruining our Christmas.
Wow, if I could give zero stars I would. My bible was not being sent to me so after a month I contacted them. Back ordered product then they said there was a mix up with my credit card. After that was fixed they told me I had to reorder product but now the product is no longer on sale. Horrible
I put a wallet for $13.99 in the cue and started the payment process. At checkout, a $5.99 handling fee, plus shipping showed up. Who charges a handling fee, and for almost half the cost of the item? I cancelled the order.
Christian book.com has always filled orders in a timely manner, overall satisfaction has been excellent. Thier site is easy to use, product viewing is realistic. I feel sure of what I am getting either on line or with a catalog. There has never been any consumer issues.
After my bank declined the transaction, the company continued to charge my card until it was processed. The book was then sent to the wrong address ( my billing address) when I called to get assistance, the CSR " Julian" explained that it was my fault and I should double check next time.
I was looking for LEGO ® Icons Botanical Bonsai Tree, which was sold out everywhere, but this site had it available for $5.00 less than MSRP, but for preorder. I had never ordered from here before, but decided to try it out. Sure enough, the item came through on time, about 1 month after I had ordered it. They even sent me periodic updates -- i ordered the item on 4/17, I received an update (just confirming the order is still in) on 5/2 and 5/12, then a shipping notification on 5/17. It arrived on 5/23.
I have placed several orders from this company for the last 3 years and have never encountered a problem. The prices are difficult to beat, the shipping is fast if the item is in stock and the customer service is always good. From my experience, I recommend them.
They took the initial money out for the Bible I ordered and took the money out again a week later and they refused to refund the money and say it's my Banks fault when my bank says it's up to them to give me back my money not the bank. I don't recommend ordering from them they like to take money and pretend to be Christian and rip people off all in God's name they're pathetic and disgusting a poor excuse for a website
It is and has been very good site! I have ordered a lot of Bibles from them and a few other things and have always been happy! It would be great to have them open store, but, I am glad to visit and order from them!
They stuffed $210 worth of merchandise in 1 Box & a single item ($30) was shipped separately. There was air filled bags on top & underneath, in the big package, but none on the sides & were therefore, sliding back n forth & all around being banged ALL Up!
The paperback school work's edges were even torn & ripping back. However, I'm most upset about the way the Hardback BIBLE was treated with NO Care or concern! It is dented HORRIBLY!
I should not have had to pay SO much for Brand New merchandise only to receive items that look Worn Out & Used, & that are Torn in places...
Get it together, PLEASE CARE!

On April 2, I placed an order with Christianbook.com over the phone. The lady was very friendly and professional, making sure I got the lowest price on each book. She said my order would arrive within one to two weeks, as it was coming from MA to CA, via FedEx, and would come in one box. I tracked it daily on my FedEx App, and it came today on Sunday, April 11. The driver ran up to my door with a big smile, handing me the box and wishing me a good day. The box was sturdy and attractive, with the Christianbook.com logo on it. It was properly packed so the books wouldn't shift around, and the new books were in perfect condition. Other than the time it took to ship my order, I would rate Christianbook.com with five stars and would feel comfortable ordering from them again.
I live in Canada and I have been ordering from this company for a few years now and I am very happy. The arrival of my merchandise was fast and I haven't had any issues with anything that I purchase
I have shopped with Christianbook several times in the past including one with a hiccup that was fixed. This past order through has made it my last. I ordered Bibles for my shop on Jan 14th this year. I had ordered gray linen cloth bound Bibles. A week or so later they arrived but were the wrong Bibles; hardcover, tan, and smooth. I contacted Customer service and they sent a refund label and a new shipment of Bibles. Again, they were the wrong ones. I called customer service this time to straighten things around and was told the right ones would be shipped right away and that the SKU labels were wrong in warehouse. A week later I got an email that they looked into the mixup and saw that the pictures on the listing were for the wrong cover of Bibles and said it was their mistake, but they would not be sending the Bibles that were pictured in the listing and told me if I wanted the correct ones I would need to pay more. I declined as I had already spent my budget for Bibles and could not spend more. I sent back the boxes of incorrect Bibles for a refund. A few weeks passed and I emailed as my tracking showed the Bibles had been returned and I still didn't have the return to my bank account. I was told if I provided tracking numbers they would refund the money right away without processing the books. I sent tracking numbers and was then told they could not process the return until the Bibles had been processed and that it could take 2+ weeks to even get to them. So here we are, nearly 2 months later and the return still has not hit my bank account. Normally I let these things slide because I know how hectic things can get but I was told one thing and then another and the issues with the Bibles wasn't even my fault.
Ideas from every Avenue. My son has anxiety, ptsd, and adhd. So it has helped in so many ways to break up the days to learn more. He is learning to be stronger, learning better how to be aware and to socialize. Luckily, he has gotten into homeschooling groups to help although this year has been a tough time. Pray it gets better. Christianbook helps my son and I the last 10 years for him and my self 16 when I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I had to step back up with reading and writing because of how bad my seizures had gotten. I as a result had my leaf hippocampus removed. It was found dead from how bad the gran mal seizures got. Now I get the starting spells. I feel them. Sometimes I am so bad and don't know and some I am aware. But I take the medicine which now is a 50/50 of working. I have a VNS put in it helps minimal but goes more harm to my esofagas. So they are trying to fight insurance for a RNS to help calm the seizures more. Once these virus shoots are done we need to pray things get better.
I have been buying from Christianbook.com for several years. Most of the time I am happy with them. What I do not like is the books are not all Bible based, therefore not Christian. I have to be really careful when choosing books for myself, or others. It isn't an easy task. I would love to give a higher rating, and am tempted to give a lower rating. Yes I will continue to buy from them.
