I buy soundtracks on a regular basis, and I liked this website when I first found it. It has a wide variety of cd's from many different companies. However, I've now run into the problem that I need to re-download a cd that I bought less than two weeks ago and can't. They only allow you to download songs for one week after purchase, which is ridiculous since I paid for it. I won't be using them anymore. I'll stick with sites that let me re-download anything in my order history.
Fabulous prices on Bibles -- they are also known on the web as cbd.com. You can often find coupon codes through retailmenot.com for even better prices. I order many gifts from them -- they let you include a gift message free and ship to a gift address which amazon and most sites don't --- so you can order gifts for all your relatives with a personalized gift message and ship it for $3.99 directly from them and the relatives feel like they got a beautiful gift direct from you -- and you didn't have to mail it and write out a card! I have been purchasing from them for over 10 years -- never had a problem. Standard shipping usually about 5-7 days -- free shipping over certain amounts. Most items are 25%-70% off manufacturer list price -- I love their Bibles - engraving only $5.00.
I am very unhappy with this bookseller. I recently bought a very expensive Cambridge Bible. When it came it was scratched. I returned it and they sent me another one and it had stamping problems on the front. I have bought alot of Bibles in my life and this is the first time I have purchased two Bibles damaged. I wondered if they were seconds. Christianbook says they are not! I have my doubts. At any rate I will not use them again.
I am a long-time customer of this site and am very pleased with the products and service I have received. Only once has my order been wrong... I called customer service and they sent me the missing part of my order with 2 day shipping at no extra charge. It's my favorite place to shop for Christian music and books, especially when I can't get the same items locally.
Has a huge selection and great deals. I have made multiple purchases and am very pleased with their products and service.
I am a new to homeschooling and found this site to be great to look at the different curriculums available. It's website was user-friendly and easy to maneuver through. That's where it stops. Being new at homeschooling, it is difficult to sift through the many curriculums available and to find the proper fit for your child. Like many newbies, I continued what my child used in her private school. When I received the items, I called multiple times to question returns on the curriculum kits, since I already had the student workbooks. I returned several kits initially and was refunded for each individual item. Well, as you progress with homeschooling, you find what works and what doesn't. My child didn't care for traditional methods of schooling, therefore I called again and questioned the return of these items, only to receive reassurance. All of these items were returned within 30 days. Yet, the following 2 other returns on these kits were charged an additional restocking fee. When I squawked, I was told I was suppose to know from the first time that it was a courtesy refund and it wasn't allowed a consecutive time. How is a consumer suppose to know if not warned the first time to beware of buying kits! Especially when the 3 other customer reps that was spoken to, failed to mention that a restocking fee was going to occur. Whatever happened to the saying that the customer is always right? Especially with a CHRISTIAN bookstore? Now I know why the homeschooling books recommend Rainbow Resource Center and fail to mention Christianbook.com. Only if the owners know how their customer service dept conducts themselves!
