We initially switched to EPOS to help transition out of our old system and it has been a smooth journey so far especially because of the helpful staff. From day one EposNow has had my back, the U. S support team is top notch. From the first day of purchasing the system, to the setup, and live date I haven't had any issue. Thank you EposNow I will be buying again.
This company lie and mis-sell their product. The sales team are very slick but only interested in signing you up to an expensive support package. Without it there is NO support beyond the initial 30 days and if you try to then cancel support, the company lock you out of your system.
I was invoiced and charged for add-on products I specifically told them I did not need or want and it took weeks of phone calls and emails to get a refund.
The company won't respond to emails- they only seem to operate by phone call and then lie- there is no resolution to complaints.
My till system works ok- but it isn't intuitive and the back office doesn't give me the functionality I expected in terms of analysing my sales, profits and costs.
I bought in haste and would never use this company again by choice.
My experience with Eposnow has been nothing but fantastic! They sent the tracking number for my package and called as soon as I purchased, and my implementation was quick and simple! I found that the team was very knowledgeable on the software and every little issue I had was quickly and pleasantly resolved. I definitely plan to invest more money with Eposnow, especially with the new software just around the corner!
Kat and Hazel helped solve a niggling issue with the chip and pin system. It had been bugging us for months but they took control of the till and fixed it in minute (reconfigured the software). What else to say - problem solved!
The company sells you on a product that fails continually. You call for support and they run you thru the basics which never solves the problem, or you stay on hold for hours, not exaggerating!
They claim to be upgrading soon, but that day never comes.
I started a business in March and still have not resolved any of their issues.
Just pay more for a better company. It will save you time and money in the end.

We'd completed the contract for our pos with another company months in advance of us getting our premises, but on delivery date it didn't show up - we called up and the businesses had gone bankrupt. It put us under a bit of time pressure needing a fully operational EPOS system within a week.
Epos Now helped us out by getting it dispatched the next day, and by getting an engineer onsite the day after to install it and train us!

I've been using an epos for about 7 years, never had any particular problem but it was getting a little bit dated so I started looking for a newer version. I came across Eposnow from my online research. They seemed like the most modern/future-proof option for my budget.
So far I've been really impressed. We had a few hiccups just getting used to it, but it's given us a real boost in productivity because I can update products on my iPad whilst my daughter is still selling in the store.
I was first in contact with Epos Now in 2013, and really liked their software and got on well with the sales guy. However I was convinced by a competitor to go with them because they were cheaper by £250.
That was a catastrophic mistake that's ended up costing me and my staff hours and hours of pain an agony using out-dated software and with hardware problems. When our 3 year contracted ended with that company I rushed to get back in contact with Epos Now.
We've now had the new Epos Now system for three months and it is like light and day. The software is modern and reliable. The biggest benefit to me is that I can access it remotely from my phone to view sales figures. I get an emailed dashboard every day with my sales and refund figures for the day so even when I'm out of the office I don't have to chase up my managers to find out takings. My admin time has been reduced and we've got a better view of our profitability each week.
The biggest change has been the customer service. For a start Epos Now actually have a UK call centre so you don't feel like you're constantly hitting language barriers, and secondly they actually pick up the phone.
It's been a really great move, and I wish we'd gone with them originally three years ago.
I bought eposnow to sort out my stock. I had good records of what I was buying (we were tracking it in excel) but we were really struggling to understand what was selling. Our method was to take a stock take once a month (which took forever, as we have over 3,000 SKU).
Now I can see instantly what's sold, when it's sold. More importantly I can see what's not selling so I can discount it and never buy it in again!
It's really changed our business. I've saved hours each week, and it's helping to put our business on more firm financial foundation

We were told and sold that this is the best system for our bust pub/restaurant business and was second to none... this can only be a most wanted statement in any business if the people behind the core are on top of their game and unfortunately (Jacyn Heavens) this is not the case in my/our most recent experience.
Before we even went live we have pulled out of this relationship with EPOS Now: I'm sure there are many good things with this product but the sales/service model behind it has truly let it/ourselves down to our most recent business purchase experience and would not want any part of a relationship with what we in a short period of three weeks have been put through and with a wasteful amount of promises and time consumed.
In business we must all be willing to listen and learn to move forward for the customers we serve and if not the business will be eventually slide to a halt or hesitation in customer confidence.
A very unhappy and potential long lasting customer who is happy to walk away from EPOS Now.
I would expect a POS system to come with bulk import of stock data from excel / csv file as standard, not pay a lot more extra. ******* products adding to the system at about 1 product per 7 minutes = 132 days, 13 hours, 16 minutes! Staff don't seem interested to help much.
Great system, easy to programme and manage without having to call for support. Great solution for a small business like ours. And big enough to cope with future growth, too.

Answer: I genuinely believe the software is in its infancy and in development. I have a client and am currently trying to get a full refund on the basis of a miss sell. It appear to be missing basic functionality and I cant complete a stock in a realistic time frame due to the way its programmed. What were your issues with epos now more specifically?
