My installers Charlie and Chuey arrived on time, introduced themselves and completely and professionally proceeded to address an install that I thought was going to take days to complete. They had to tackle an attic install, narrow accessibility and some cold weather and all in 8 hrs time. They explained their process and I now have a heat pump with efficiency to last me for years to come. They also include a quality follow up, days later to make sure everything is working properly. I am so pleased, and confident in my decision to go with Goettl!

Kevin got here right on time and installed a noise cover blanket on my 5-ton unit. He took pictures of everything he had done and explained the process including where he had cord tied wiring from hot copper tubing. He is very friendly and did a really nice job

BEWARE
November 23, 2022

This all started when we noticed a leak in the ceiling of our garage, below a bathroom. We had opened up the ceiling already to take a look, my husband and I couldn't pinpoint the leak. BEFORE Day 1, they send out a third party "restoration" guy, he left a card, was pointless. Day 1: I wait at home on a Monday and they reschedule me because they have too many "real" emergencies. No biggie, I'm understanding. Day 2, Frank shows up alone, I agree to the $89 service fee, it's expected. I show him the garage ceiling and the bathroom that sits above it. He says it's $250 for a leak finding fee, but that they'll wave it if we agree to get repairs through them. I think this is getting pricey fast, but ok, I just want this fixed. Frank figures out the leak is coming from the toilet upstairs, ew, ok. He unseats my toilet, says the wax ring is shot (a $5 part) and that the metal flange also needs to be replaced, fine. Frank is unable to replace and reseat/caulk my toilet that day, he needs a second person, and none are available right away. Still being patient, they haven't messed up quite yet. Day 3: Martin and Sergio show up, so far so good. I'm not entirely sure why a toilet cannot be handled by one full grown man, but whatever. One guy is in my garage, and the other is upstairs "fixing" the toilet. They are there for about an hour, say they're done, I give them the payment due (another $1000) as I am thinking it a bit odd that they did not show me the work that they did. My husband comes home after work, takes a look, and notices that the "new" wax seal is squishing out from under the back edge of the toilet, there are shims sticking out at all odd angles from the sides of the bottom, and now my toilet rocks, I'm a metal fan, but c'mon. The old caulking is still there, no attempt to re-caulk as stated on the invoice was made. It's been 3 weeks or so, 3 supposed appointments later and about 7 unreturned phone calls later, we are still trying to simply get back to the square one of fixing water damage! We get someone to come out last Saturday, when my husband can be home, to look at their shoddy work. Turns out the guy they sent was Sergio, the downstairs guy, back ALONE to LOOK at the toilet, and turn around and say we need to schedule AGAIN for Monday when neither of us are home. This is after they had scheduled an appointment fully on their own, on a Wednesday, without confirmation, and said "we're on our way!" Failure of a company, we are simply trying to get the money back for the install that was improperly done, and do not trust these people at this point to even simply turn a wrench. Waste of time and money, and possibly in worse shape than we started. (Also, there is a sign of a second leak, the same section of ceiling possibly from the adjacent bath, this was not brought to anyone's attention, my husband found that when he got home.) 0 stars, get out of San Antonio, swindlers.

My tech Ronald showed up at little after 8 within the window of 8 - 11. Started checking things out right away. Very clean personable and friendly. Knew what he was doing. Showed all the pictures of my furnace/air conditioner. Changed my filters. Excellent experience.

Very attentive when getting the business —- efficient putting the a/c and heating in - and cleaning up after — but have to say customer service is not good at all - sad really as they "seem" to be a good company - and do also spend a lot on advertising- I would prefer customer service to be more efficient and would be more likely to refer their business

A/C repair

Goettl company is not very good 1st technician they sent out did not know anything, must have hired him that day. After arguing with a rude Boss Jason they finally sent out Junior who does great work and is professional. Junior is only bright spot in this company. Goettl do not believe the hype.

On Friday, October 7,2022, I had my annual maintenance for my Goettl Air Conditioner. Goettl Technician, Daniel Castor, did an outstanding job. From the time he arrived until he finished, he was all business. He was thorough, answering my questions and explaining what he waw doing. When he was done, he showed me photos of everything he encountered and the condition of the air conditioner. When the hot weather returns next year, I'm confident my air conditioner will work well. In addition to his technical expertise, Daniel was friendly and courteous.

Annual plumbing inspection

I had my first annual plumbing inspection today and was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism; knowledge and transparency of that inspection by John - from Phoenix AZ. Thanks you Goettl - I know I spent a pretty penny on my HVAC system but its worth it for the customer service!

Never use

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Wouldn't return phone calls, had my ac down for 3 weeks in AZ summer and had the part for 1.5 weeks and set up an appointment on their own without telling me then just expect to be able to come over whenever to put it in. They did this to me 3 times and I called 4 times to get them here after they said they had the part. Had one of the employees take a picture of my daughters room without asking.

Had an issue with my AC, and the Goettl guys were here fast, ready, and solved the problem, as they always do. I really appreciate this company. Haven't used them for plumbing yet, but I will. I have found them very dependable, fair in their pricing, and quite dedicated to their customers. Absolutely no complaints me.

SUNDAY NIGHT... WHY WAS MY FLOOR WET? I KNOW ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT PLUMBING, BUT REMEMBERED MY HUSBAND LIKED TO USE GOETTL, SO I CALLED THEM. I WAS CONNECTED TO A SERVICE AND IMMEDIATLY TRANSFERRED TO GOETTL'S EMERGENCY REP. HE LISTENED TO MY PROBLEM AND ASSURED ME THAT I WOUD BE CONTACTED EARLY IN THE A.M. HE WAS CORRECT!
AT 8 A.M... JOHN PARKER CALLED AND LISTENED PATIENTLY AND SAID HE WOULD ARRIVE IN 20 MINS. AND SURE ENOUGH, HE WAS AT MY DOOR IN 15 MIN. HMMM. A PATTERN OF
"BEING RIGHT" IS STARTING TO FORM... A GOOD SIGN THAT ONE OF US KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!
JOHN SCANNED THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND POINTED OUT THAT THE WATER HEATER WAS LEAKING... AND ADDED THAT THE EXISTING WATER HEATER WAS NOT UP TO CURRENT CODE! IT WAS INSTALLED A FEW YEARS AGO BY THE NEIGHBORHOOD "I CAN DO THAT" FRIEND. NOTE: THIS IS ALREADY THE 3RD TIME GOETTL FOLKS HAVE BEEN CORRECT, IN CASE YOU ARE KEEPING TRACK!
JOHN TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING A NEW WATER HEATER AND GAVE ME CHOICES OF COST AND WARRANTEES. I CHOSE A NEW "UP TO DATE" MODEL! IT'S SO PRETTY THAT IT'S NOW ON MY LIST OF POSSIBLE CHRISTMAS CARD PHOTOS! JOHN ARRANGED TO DO THE INSTALLATION THE NEXT MORNING.
MY HUSBAND WAS RIGHT--"YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" IS TRUE AND IN JOHN'S CASE WE NOT ONLY RECEIVED WONDERFUL SERVICE, BUT I'M GOING TO INCLUDE "TRUST, TALENT AND ABILITY" TO JOHN'S SERVICE CALL.
I MUST ADD THAT EVERY GOETTL REP HAS HAD ALL THE QUALITIES THAT I'VE MENTIONED. JOHN HAD A "GOOD FIT" TO OUR FAMILY AND I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT I MAY REQUEST HIM, THE NEXT TIME I HAVE A LEAK... WE MAY HAVE TO ALTER THAT TIME LINE. SO FAR, I HAVE A NEW WATER SOFTNER, WATER HEATER, AND AN A/C... AND A COLLECTION OF LITTLE RED DOGS---ALL FROM GOETTL! I DON'T NEED ANYMORE DOGS, BUT I WILL ALWAYS NEED GOETTL & JOHN

Geottl will rip you off

They will rip you off do not use this company. I called them to repair my AC unit which wasn't cooling. Goettl charged me $225 to replace some burned wires. It took the tech about 30 min to do this so that is a labor charge of $450 per hour. They charged me $320 to replace a "starter capacitor". I looked up this part on the internet and this is a $10 to $20 item. They charged me $510 to replace a "line filter dryer". I looked up this part on the internet and this is a $25 to $45 item. They charged me $846 to recharge my system with 9 lbs of R410a at $94 per lb. The internet told me that most AC units need 2-4 lbs to recharge the refrigerant which would be a MAX charge of $376. My total bill was $2400. I give them 1 star because my AC unit is cooling now.

We called several 24/7 Air conditioning companies and had to leave a phone message. I called Goettl once and received a friendly voice on the other end of the line. I told them about my air conditioner being out since last night. I have Asthma and other health issues which make it hard for me to breathe. They got me an appointment right away this morning. Aaron the was at my house bright and early. He was friendly, courteous and even listened to my chatter. He had my Air conditioner up and going in know time at all. I want to thank everyone for all that they did to get my air conditioner going. I would diffidently recommend them to my family and friends.

Run around

Installed AC and furnace in July 2021. Rec'd call from city of Peoria that the final inspection was never requested. I notified Goettl. I paid $38.50 to extend permit. I arranged for city inspector to come to my residence for the inspection. Never any help from Goettl! The inspection failed. Again contacted Goettl and requested that they make necessary repairs and refund my $38.50. A lot " oh sorry, we don't operate that way, we will make it right, blah blah". This all started when I first notified Goettl of the problem in May of 2022. It is now nearing August and still no return of $38.50 and no repair of failed inspection. All you get from Goettl is a bunch of "we'll take care of it" but nothing ever happens. I will NEVER use Goettl again even to change a filter because they will probably screw it up and never fix their error. I paid a premium price to get what I thought would be a premium service and just got bottom of the barrel service.
