A man on the phone called about restarting my service. I told him I didn't have the money. And he kept pressuring me. It got down to 4999. He said it was a great deal. But I found out later about 4999 is the normal coverage price. So anyways, I didn't get a discount..
We have had bad luck with warranty services in the past. In fact, hearing that things are not covered really turns folks off especially when you pay month to month and the service fee that is associated with a service call. Home Safe helped replace our dishwasher that finally gave out after 7 years. The price for the service is a bit of a sticker shock, but we now have our dishwasher up and running again.

We have had some bad experiences with warranty companies. Researching companies, you find the gambit of different ones. The cost for home safe is higher than most to be honest. Our dishwasher finally gave out. Repairing the dishwasher just was not in the cards. Home safe reviewed our claim, and we have Lowes coming out on the 23rd to install a new dishwasher. The warranty does pay for installation and haul away the broken one. If problems happen over the weekend they will respond and get you with a service to come out, but if you need a claim filed, they do not process paperwork over the weekend. One area that they do not cover are the sending unit on your garage door and also the large spring if it breaks. That cost to repair the spring is why we left the last company. Overall, Home Safe has been good so far. Hopefully they will continue their support of our home.
I put a claim in for two appliances and they found a repair person to send out They are approving the cost of the repairs minus the deductible.

I've had the insurance for over a year. My AC had to e repaired, Our kitchen stove had to be replaced. Because the policy was new, I forgot to make a request for reimbursement (my fault).(About $6500)
Recently my telephone system failed (maybe a couple hundred dollars). I made a report to you. It was turned down by you.

Water heater replacement was basically easy to report and have a plummer replace it, but the reimbursement process was a little ore difficult. The check was made out in my deceased husband's name because he was the primary on the contract. I could not deposit the check because of this matter. I was never informed that a check could only be made out to the primary contract owner. I had to go through a process to get my name moved to primary. However, after that had been done, I had to make phone calls to get the reimbursed check made out to myself and be sent. I have not received that yet and it has been almost 2 weeks ago since I have visited with a claim representative who told me the check would be cut and sent promptly.

I really didn't understand what I was responsible for when I first called. The gentleman told me that everything would be taken care of. I knew about the deductible, but I didn't know how much it was at the time and I don't understand a primary and a secondary reason that's why I rated it somewhat confused.

4 Star Mechanical is the worst service provider. Service is horrible from first service no job was done correctly. Tjey causeddamage to my home. Everything they came out to fix was left in worse condition then when they started. Needless to say they never completed the service contract. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Washer would fill with water, make sounds but would not double spin to remove extra water. After washing second load, when washer stopped and I check, it had stopped spinning altogether. Technician diagnosed the issue and changed out the belt.
