Nextiva has always been the gold standard for customer service when it comes to hosted telephone systems. Any technical support or account issues that occur immediately have an agent assigned to them, and the resolution is swift and thorough. Their tech support team never sounds like they are in a rush to get off the phone, and will be happy to test and re-test solutions to make sure they work the way they are supposed to.

I was using a free talk and text program when I first started my business. Since I've switched to Nextiva, my business has exploded! I was happy to get in touch with 10 clients a day. Now I average 25 contacts each day. I am so happy I switched. Not only am I able to contact more clients, but with the note features, I can keep notes electronically rather than writing everything down. I'm a member for life.
Ordered the fax service. Worked fine. But when I tried to cancel fell into Nextiva Customer Service Hell. They ignored my cancellation email which was sent timely exactly per their instructions. They billed my card anyway.
They will not respond to emails sent
It takes hours to get through on phonelines
Then you get bounced around from one "department" to another
Ironic for a "communications" company to have such dismal communications.
I have reported them for fraudulent business practices and filed a fraud claim with my bank.
Absolutely DO NOT sign up with this company. Read all these reviews! I signed up, been trying to get it set up for over a month, I can't port my business phone number so I'm unable to use the service, and now they tell me I can't cancel unless I pay almost $300. GIVE ME A REFUND YOU SCAMERS! Hopefully you are reading this before you've signed up if you aren't then you are here to add your one star review to the pile. Booooooo Nextiva!
Their VOIP only works half the time. The apps on the phone rely on bad cell service. Prepare to have a lot of dropped calls, anywhere between 2 to 4 callbacks.
Hired them and trusted sales person Hoffman she said just call me if anything we will fix that for you. We signed the contract, spent 100 hours on the phone, did training - result no service - numbers, phones - nothing connected and they demand $4000 to cancel contract. I understand that you need to make money - but good ethics is a must in business in US - not fair business practise is illegal. Also security measures are designed to drive people crazy not protect you. Local business inspection of business practise is requested. I am sure there is ton of customer with similar experience.
This company promised to call me back to try and get my phones operational on numerous occasions. Not once have they actually called back. We are now a business with only 4 operational phones and 5 that don't work. There seems to be no plan to get us working phones either as everyone tells me they will call back with the answer. My advice if you are stuck with them is to never let them call you back, wait for the answer or you will be stuck in a 30 minute wait to talk to a human once again.
I dont know what happened to them. They went from an excellent VoIP provider with the best customer service and support, to horrible! Our system started to disconnect and would ring busy and at times the phones would just ring for hours, but no one on the lines. Support kept telling us to try this or that, to upgrade our modem and internet service, which we did everything we were told to do to fix the issues. But nothing worked. We were losing business without our phones. After 5 yrs of being with them we had to switch companies. And they were just horrible to us, when we switched. They kept trying to bill us even after we ported out our numbers, and we sent in our cancellation notice. Our contract had expired 3 yrs earlier, and we were on a month to month. They became the most rude and unthinkable type of people to deal with when we started having issues. They must have had a new turn over for management or something, because what ever took place, was not for the better. I can not recommend this company any longer. And that really makes me sad.
First thing is, their support and customer service are great! They surpass most other companies with their excellent support team! The system they use for VoIP is clear and without static. We use a 10 line system, and it was a bit different than the old system we used, but Nextiva walked us through it and made the training easy and quick. I love the people at Nextiva! Its really hard to find really good customer service these days, but the Nextiva staff really do put customer satisfaction at the top of their list.
Nextiva charged me and they didn't activate my numbers for weeks no body answers or called me I tried to contact them many times. And after weeks I made a contract with another company. After one month they send me email saying they are charging me almost full amount of yearly contract for services never activated! This is a scam! Stay a way from Nextiva!
Nextiva claims high reliability; nothing can be further from the truth. Go to a site called downdetector.com and you will see the amount of outages. I dis find a provider called Vinixglobal.com that has the best business phone service designed for the environment in which we live. They have an excellent hybrid solution to accommodate your remote employees.
