I am Paypal customer since 22 years. At that time, they were good and priceworthy - now they are bad and expensive. They are unwilling or unable to deal with situations outside their standardized procedures, they support criminal activities and do not care for their customer's rightful issues and close you out if you complain or are not satisfied.

I was clearly fraudulently bilked by a hacked Garmin file which gave me a telephone number of the Tech Services in Yonkers, NY. When I tried to update my maps on my Garmin Drive, the hacked file led me to these guys who represented themselves as Garmin subcontractors. I even had a witness who was a guest at Christmas dinner who heard this. They told me Garmin was not honoring the free maps it promised (partly true verified on the Internet) and charged me $199 to fix the problem. In fact they got the maps free from Garmin and uploaded them to my Garmin Drive through my computer while paying themselves through Paypal and sending emails supposedly from me to them saying I would not dispute the charge. Paypal denied my claim to stop a clearly fraudulent charge without even contacting my witness. I will never use Paypal and wish I had found this site earlier.
They promise costumer protection but never protect me when my packages were marked as delivered but was not. Courier left a package at an exposed place and it was stolen. I did not receive it. I sent to Paypal a photo from courier where he left it, Paypal did not pay attention.the photo shows that courier even did not enter the building to deliver and put the package at an exposed place at intercome area for everybody to take. Aliexpress and Paypal refused to refund as usually. That is why they like to work together. Aliexpress prefer payments through Paypal. Paypal never helped me with my lost packages I did not receive. Aliexpress and Paypal protect only sellers if your package wrongly scanned as delivered but was not. Be careful
Sent money to my sister. Didn't know she did not have an account with PayPal. She couldn't cash the transfer but they kept the money and never replied to my inquiries.

PayPal denied an appeal regarding Discord. They claim I received services. I was unable to appeal. It was closed the day it was denied. The 10 day deadline was not offered to me. I have screenshots as proof.
Also, since the dispute, I have been experiencing issues with logging into my account. Before the dispute, there were no issues. It could be a coincidence but the timing is sketchy.
I bought bitcoin in PayPal and tried to transfer it to somewhere for finance, but I kept getting security blocks for 10 days. Finally, I gave up and sold my bitcoin and went elsewhere. PayPal is extremely incompetent when it comes to crypto. Its agents were useless when I asked for help.

They don't populate transaction data older than 2 years. You have to call and request a PDF.
I did so and did not receive a PDF after a week of waiting (supposed to be 24-48 hours) and upon calling back, the next rep said they could see a request was made but was still being processed but would "restart" it for me. I asked for a manager and "one wasn't available".
The biggest problem here is after calling Paypal, an old CC that was one of the few listed on my Paypal account, was locked for fraudulent activity.
So something that should have been as easy as me accessing my account and looking back on a calendar, turned into something that could potentially cause ID theft and more personal account issues.

These people are currently holding $77 and change of mine hostage. My friend sent it to me but accidentally sent it to the business account. And they froze it and their excuse was that I must be a miner. Or I made it in a country that doesn't accept the middle Ohio, USA. You guys need to be charged for theft and plus pay all extra money that you earn while holding our money in bigger accounts. Your thieves, your scumbags, and you use little foreign pieces of $#*!. So we can barely understand you anyway
The staff is extremely polite - that's for sure... but ultimately ineffective in resolving your issue.
Found them to have convoluted and duplicative processes as well as siloed customer service. Nobody can really help you unless you escalate to a manager. Even then, you get shunted to other areas of the company and of course, they all have different phone numbers... All of this takes enormous time, energy and repetition of information across the lines.
I engaged them as my billing service in good faith - but am now working at closing my accounts. Too much confusion in keeping business and personal accounts separate... hard to believe that I have to "work at " closing my accounts - but that's the truth!

MONEY STOLEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT USING PAYPAL! For months I was getting unauthorized transactions send from my bank to PayPal! I only used PayPal to receive money never to pay or send money! I been getting harrased by PayPal to pay a debt that was unauthorized by me! The customer service people are unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing! Called multiple times, I even reported fraud on the website 3x kept getting denied by PayPal. I had to remove my bank account information from PayPal as soon as I noticed unauthorized transactions and change my bank account number! The worst part is that when a transaction is pending you are not allowed to cancel! So PayPal takes the money out of your bank account with out being able to stop it. Once it's transferred the money is taking out immediately from your account!
No one is able to help. They pass you on and on to different people and everyone is lost and has no idea how to help.

PayPal put a limit on my account and now I can't process credit cards. They asked for information, I supplied it, they said the review would take 3 business days but after that, they asked for more information and another 3 days to review that and then they wanted more information and after I provided that they say 5 days.
Beside this nightmare, Zettle app has been awful. They only recently added the ability to keep customer information. I can't even find out what customer received a receipt for any charge before. Now it still cant look up what customer made a particular charge. It only shows me the receipts when I look up a customer file. It is very unsophisticated.

I notified paypal and they helped me get my money back because the seller accepted paypal.I then purchased skin bleaching products from another seller that accepts paypal called mansionhawaiibeauty.online recommended by ebony magazine and their stronger professional or prescription strenght products make me look far more light skin and this time no problems at all by far the best skin lightening products i have ever found. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
