I've had to amend my review for shipto as they have sorted out the issue and now I'm satisfied with the service. Just remember to add the suite number to the shipping address as I did not and it took them a while to find my package (my fault not shipto's) overall very happy with the service.
I have now mailed out 16 packages from the US to Papua New Guinea in just a little over a year. Shipito has been wonderful and I have no complaints. Every package made it to the destination and Shipito has been so helpful if ever there was even the slightest problem or question I have had.
I'm client of Shipito more than a 5 years. But after my last experience have to look for alternative service providers.
I have ordered delivery of the package to Serbia on 21 October 2022. The package were lost. The fact that package lost was confirmed by support team in November 2022.
Although I have paid for insurance, I haven't received replacement or my money back... Since November 2022 I constantly trying to understand what is happening and obtain money or goods and nothing happened. The support team is ignoring my requests and can respond once per month without any concrete actions.
I would say that if you are just planning to use this service especially in Europe - look for another services... It will save your money and time.
I cannot be any happier with Shipito, my front and rear swaybars was bought from ebay USA but seller didn't offer shipping options to Australia so I used shipito's service, the seller did not package the parts properly so by the time it reached shipito's warehouse it was falling a part! Shipito surprised me by doing a complimentary re-packing of my items into a brand new box complete with bubble wrap inside for protection. Because of this my package ended up smaller and lighter which inturn made my fee's cheaper! I've been using this company for the past 10 years and not once have I've been disappointed! I am in Canada. I shipped my online shopping, a brand name cashmere sweater to their Austria branch. They marked my item as shipped on Nov 2nd, gave me a tracking number of Austria post, which is not traceable from first day till now, after I paid around $80 USD shipping cost.
I reported many times, opened a lot tickets to report the tracking number they provided is not traceable on Austria post site. Always one guy named Martin replied me to wait and then ignored me, once Martin even lied to me said my parcel was in USA now, I asked him how did he know, he ignored me again. No photos, no evidence provided.
Now 50 days passed and nobody knows where my item is. It disappeared forever. The Martin guy and Austria branch guys stole my stuff and then charged me shipping cost. I bet you guys don't have the lucky to spend that dirty money you stole, that is a curse.
I have used the services of this company to send me a phone. Package was hold on in their warehouse for more than week without any message/notice. Even the shipment and all the necessary documents were agreed and paid. After 7 days they reported me as the security issue and asked me for the invoice and my documents. This was not even their concern. After one week they released my package. But my package was not deliver directly to USPS but via service of the third party shipper. After two more weeks of no updates I have asked again, and after the third message they updated the location to Las Vegas which is more than 500 miles from me. I expected this company is able to deliver me the package in 4-5 weeks but it is not the case! Distance from Oregon to San Francisco is not around the globe. And definitely not through the Vegas! I leave USA this weekend and I have to leave very expensive phone as the gift for my sister in USA because of this company. Do not use Shipito if you need any reliable services. I have multiple experience with this company like this.
I am a resident in the United Kingdom emailing to contact you regarding a fraudulent theft by a mailing company called 'Shipito' which operates an international mail forwarding service.
Their business specialises in re-forwarding mail/parcels to international customers. Since using the service for the first time I have discovered hundreds if not thousands of people online who have fallen victim to this company and their illegal practises. They notify you of issues with your parcel, then proceed to charge additional storage time while they take up to 7 days to reply to support tickets.
I had an issue with my first parcel purchased from Ebay, they subsequently informed me that they would not send it out to me, so I requested a mail-out to the ebayer who sold the item (special request which was charged for) They have now since created additional barriers in order for me to get my parcel returned to the ebay vendor, they're requesting that I have someone collect from USPS which is impossible to do as a customer from outside the United Kingdom.
A quick check on their google reviews will show hundreds of people falling victim to the same issue I am having, that this company uses practises and behaviours to purposely tap customers and their purchases.
My Parcel is quoted to be at their local reception near your police station, however I have no ability to get USPS to collect it as they also waited several days to reply that the ebay return period is closing.
Please avoid this company, the say its setup is a complete trap. You; ll get charged at every point, even for refunds, for more storage time because they take ages to reply, then you simply get told to collect your own parcel despite paying for a special request
After a bit more than ten successful deliveries we recently received a parcel with broken goods inside and had to use support, for the first time. From the beginning it was clear that this was not a damage that was related to transportation but instead somebody had opened the product box and closed it again improperly, probably at customs. This lead to the destruction of one of the contained products, worth $250 each. I immediately took pictures of the broken piece and also tried to picture the partly transparent packaging of the goods before opening, so the broken piece could be seen inside. Then I claimed a case with Shipito. After several days they answered me. They asked me to also send them a picture of the outer packaging UPON DELIVERY which I did not take, since upon delivery the packaging was completely intact. Furthermore, after several days of waiting for an answer, the packaging was already disposed of. Although this was clearly not a damage by transportation, Shipito did not even move an inch from their standard procedure and did not want to help me out but instead insisted on getting this completely irrelevant photograph. They did not even follow my request of providing me information on how to prevent this in the future. I felt like I was wasting my time with a chat robot although my inquiry was processed by an actual human being. Following this, I immediately cancelled my membership. What Shipito delivers here is beyond any minimum customer service I would expect, hence 1 star.
By the way: Shipito was in fact also asking me to provide a side letter from an expert that confirms that the product is indeed damaged. I assume in many situations this will cost more than the product itself. Hence, paying for additional insurances and pictures of contained products may end up being completely worthless.
They locked my account for verification after receiving 4500$ order from Amazon. First they asked me to verify my credit card, so I did. Then they asked for photo of ID and driving license, so I sent. Then they asked for selfie while holding ID and driving license, so I sent. They were still wasn't removing the hold on my account and ignoring my emails. So I sent them a video while holding ID and driving license and saying please remove the hold of shipito account and so I can ship my packages. Of course this also didnt work. After that I asked them to return the order to Amazon. Amazon is sent a pickup from their address and they denied to hand over package to UPS because they wanted money for "local pick up service". I agreed to pay that so called service fee but they didnt allow me to pay because my account is on hold. So they dont remove hold on my account, they dont ship my package to me and they dont return the package to Amazon. After all I didnt give up and hired a lawyer for this. Finally lawyer make them to unlock my account and I shipped my package. Nice try scammers.
Shipito is a great choice to get whatever you want from the USA. You can get your packages consolidated into a single box at an affordable price. They have lots of shipping choices around the world. Insurance is available and you can make special requests. Everything is working fine. If you need to contact customer support it can take a few days to get the issue solved, that is only bad thing I have found however there are lots of benefits of using it. I would definitely recommend it. I usually buy from Argentina.
Worst shipping service, incredibly high fees. They'll « lose » your parcels and provide absolutely no help. Stay away from those crooks.

I have had 34 successfully delievered shipments from this company and consolidations are always packed safe and securely with good rates and transit times. 5 stars, would highly recommend.

I used to order from ExPat.com since I live in Japan and some items just aren't available. 5 years ago Expat.com got out of the business and now I have to order from Amazon. Even then, Amazon won't ship certain items overseas, but Shipito does... and at a price, e.g. a 70% markup above the retail value. And they only use UPS for some items, so to deliver something about an ounce can cost $25!
I didn't quite understand the package split process in order to send to different addresses, and "Customer Service" was dismissive and I wound up having to pay extra storage time because of the delays. Shipito will ten and twenty dollar you to death--nickels and dimes are NOT enough!
I should have bought from Rakuten, Japan's answer to Amazon, and will do so in the future. I will NEVER use Shipito again. EVER!
We are sorry for the frustration. Our carriers set prices based on the weight, size and where you ship the box. They do not take into account its retail value.
This service is expansive and has too much fees. Be careful when using their shipping calculator, it's not true maybe is fake when you calculate the item with the same mesure and weight you get a cheap price but when the item is arrived to the warehouse you will be shocked by the new price, and also there is more fees you will paid, in total the shipping will be about 110$ to 140$ Instead what they provides in shipping calculator.
This is the last time that i will use this service.
The shipping calculator is very accurate as long as you have the exact weight and dimensions of the box. Often what is listed on the store website is item size only without taking into account the shipping packaging. To get the best estimate its best to get the exact dimensions and weight of the outer shipping container with item inside.
