The company's reputation is significantly marred by persistent customer service issues and a frustrating return process. Many customers report long wait times and ineffective communication, leading to dissatisfaction and a lack of trust. While some reviews highlight the quality and comfort of the products, these positives are overshadowed by complaints regarding incorrect orders, inadequate support, and hidden fees related to returns. Overall, the sentiment reflects a growing frustration among customers who feel misled and undervalued, prompting them to seek alternatives from competitors known for better service.

I have been waiting for a refund they told me it would be issued 3-5 business days well 11/5 is the 5th day and now they are telling me I have to wait 7 days I would never order anything from them or even recommend for that matter to anyone!
This site and this company sucks, big time. Ordered the same pair of shoes 3 times. The first 2 times my account was credited back the purchase price WITHOUT EXPLANATION. The third time it seems to be going through, however, only time will tell. Their customer service phone line has been terminated and the recorded message asks that you send an e-mail. Did that twice, no response to either. Not a good business model and I doubt that I will use this company again. Life's too short to have to deal with a low rated company and the frustrations they create.
My friend Mrs. Lucky was the one who introduced me this site and has she said I can also testify that goods here are very affordable not only that they are of good quality and don't pile off. I enjoyed the site
I can't even process a return. No one available by phone or by email. Move along. They won't be in business much longer.
Please don't believe. This is a spam website. I paid for three shoes but never received & also they never replied my questions.
After unable to ship as promised and no information as to when was given I asked to cancel the order. I was told that the order went to their warehouse and would not be able to cancel. They still had no idea as to when this item that was indicated in stock would be available. After being persistent I was told they would send email to warehouse and get back to me shortly. After 2 days of no response I received an email that my order was canceled due to Shoes.com being unable to deliver. Horrible service and will avoid buying from them in the future.
This company shipped me some out of date shoes that were poorly packed without any air bags for cushioning. Free shipping always comes with consequences, since your parcels are always jostled around and handled much more by the shipping carriers, than they would be during expedited shipping. When I opened the bag, I saw that the shoebox was torn open on both ends and the shoes inside were damaged. I wasn't responsible for the damage, so I called their customer service department on the phone. After giving them a mouthful about their sloppy packing and shipping, I was told that I would have my restocking fee returned to me right away. A few days later, when the shoes arrived back at their warehouse, I saw that my refund was for less than I paid for the shoes, even when I added the restocking fee to my credit. They still owed me $8.50 cents that they failed to credit me for. This company should be flagged as a sham at the very least, and their return policies are extremely misleading and deceptive. Go to a genuine dealer to purchase your shoes, you won't be sorry!
Ordered shoes that never came in. I had to contact customer service two days later and told I'd get an update in 48hrs. Two days later I got an email saying my order was cancelled. No explanation, no apology, no response.
I have reached out 6 times now and no response. No email after purchase, no status update, no tracking number, nothing!
Why are these businesses allowed to stay active and continue to do this to us? Everything else in this world is monitored or shut down if it is breaking the law, so what about protecting the consumer a bit more - especially when there are so complaints.
I bought a pair of shoes from them more then 3 weeks ago and they were a little to small so i tried to return them as of now i still am not able to return them. I have called them 4 times got in touch twice and was told i would receive a email which would enable me to return the shoes, never happened. I called them a 5th time and got a message telling me i should email them. I did and finally got a return label.
I've been getting bombarded with email offers for many months from shoes.com. Lots of spam mail. When I tried to use a sale offer, it wouldn't work. I tried 3 different ones and none of them worked. Even the ID ME offer didn't work. I noticed that the discount percentage would change as it went along as well.
Since I need new shoes, I didn't really care about a sale offer but since they offered one but didn't honor it, I'm not doing business with shoes.com now or in the future. Looks like they spend most of their time on marketing and not customer service.
The customer service form on their site doesn't work. On my laptop I can only see the top 4 boxes, when I fill that out, there is no way to scroll down, to get to the rest of the form and no way to send it.
I called their customer service # and got stuck on hold for an hour because I was concerned I had ordered to the wrong address. Turns out I ordered for the correct address, but on the label, they left off the Apartment # so the UPS driver had to take his time to hunt me down.
The kicker? The website says they are high-top sneakers. The picture looks like a high-top sneaker but they are not high-tops. I thought, "well, maybe I'll keep them anyway." I ordered my usual size but they are way too narrow.
I had to sit on hold for 40 minutes. I will not be charged the restocking fee. We will see how the return goes and how long it takes for them to credit my charge card. I hope I don't have to pay it and then have a positive balance that I will have to use my credit card to get because that is the only thing on it.
The most frustrating on line experience I have ever experienced. Returned a pair of shoes and am still waiting on the refund 35 days later. Communicating with this company has been unsatisfactory. I will gladly pay extra for my next pair of shoes to avoid this experience. My only recourse will be to work with my credit card company.
I purchased a pair of Ecco shoes on sale (more than half off). Waited eight days and noticed no movement. Contacted the company and they said give it 10 business days. So I waited 2 weeks and still no movement. So I contacted them again and they canceled the order due to "a technical error with the order transmitting to the vendor and has been canceled at this time." I went back to the website and noticed they had it in stock but the price was 160.00! And so I emailed them again and asked for an explanation as to what exactly the technical error was. What I see is they forgot to update their price list and didn't realize it until a customer ordered it. The response I got this time was "the supply could not keep up with the demand of the shoes at the sale price." Interesting enough, I've had that shoe in my shopping cart for a couple weeks before I decided to buy it and it never changed in price. I believe it is shoes.com's fault for not updating their prices and should eat the difference! Just like if you go to any retail store. If you mention that there is an advertisement left on the rack from a precious sale they will remove the sign but still give the customer the sale. Bad business ethics will never order from them again!
Promptly received my order; however, when realized I needed different size, it was IMPOSSIBLE to print my return label! Sent emails to customer service with no response and called 3 times, with a total hold time of 1 HOUR, without ever speaking to anyone! Also, they basically force customer to exchange unless you want to pay $8.50 restocking fee. GO WITH ZAPPOS!
This is the most horrible company EVER. Run away. Do not order from these people. Total scam. They sent me 2_orders of the same things. They don't answer emails and after waiting on hold for an hour, they disconnect you. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!
I ordered a couple pairs of shoes. Returned & placed an 'Exchange' order. Their website was 'down' when I needed to return them for an Exchange. It recommended ordering the new pair then sending an email with a statement that my order was for an exchange (which I did). They sent me an email upon receipt of the returned pair stating they were charging me a 'return fee'. I was never able to get them to show them as an Exchange - never could get through on the phone (would get disconnected after about 30 minutes). So... I ended up getting charged the return fee instead of them designating my order as an Exchange. Their site does not show updated 'Order History'. I will never order from them again.
Ordered two pairs shoes 5/31. My credit card was charged on 6/1. Kept checking their online order status, and it would always say "in transit, tracking pending." Contacted customer service three times over a week and a half, and did not receive any reply except the autoreply. Tried to call the company and could not get through (it hung up as soon as I started "waiting.") The only positive is that they did refund my money, but I didn't know that until I started to dispute the charge, because they never communicated with me. Other than that, worst online shopping experience ever.
I returned a shoe order (after ordering another pair, which I kept). They received my return on May 13,2021 according to FedEx, and now it is June 16,2021. I still have not gotten the credit on my card. When logging into their site it doesn't even show the return is complete. You cannot get anyone to answer the phone. When you email them they reply with the same generic email and do not answer my question or return my money. They used to be a good company, but I will never buy shoes from them again.
I have been shopping at this site for years, but lately their customer service has been deplorable. I am missing a pair of shoes from a shipment ordered a month ago, and despite multiple attempts to reach customer service via both email and telephone, I have received no response to my inquiries. When I am able to get through to the customer service number, I wait for many minutes on hold, only to be summarily disconnected. Email responses are automated and have nothing to do with my question. I have wasted many hours trying to get a response from their merchant to no avail, despite their claims that customer service is of utmost importance to them. I will not be shopping at shoes.com again
Answer: Apparently they do not care. Not a real good omen for staying in business very long.
Answer: Stay away! I tried to make an exchange, and they charged me for the new shoes and then claimed that returned shoes were worn and damaged and wouldn't give me my money back. I wore them long enough to try them on and even then the shoes were so small and stiff that I couldn't get my feet into them! I asked the customer service "manager" (the 4th "manager" I spoke to) if we are allowed to try on the shoes and shes said "yes of course" to which I said then why do you consider what I did wearing them? She didn't have an answer. This is a scam to sell off damaged or defective merchandise. Stay away.
