The company's reputation is significantly marred by persistent customer service issues and a frustrating return process. Many customers report long wait times and ineffective communication, leading to dissatisfaction and a lack of trust. While some reviews highlight the quality and comfort of the products, these positives are overshadowed by complaints regarding incorrect orders, inadequate support, and hidden fees related to returns. Overall, the sentiment reflects a growing frustration among customers who feel misled and undervalued, prompting them to seek alternatives from competitors known for better service.

Iv waited 2 months and keep getting told my order either lost and return on its way or we looking into it. Last email was the best was given this long number told to go to my local post office so I thought let me try. The gentlemen at my post office told me he can't track anything with that number. Iv asked to send my shoes via Dhl so I could track it said I would pay but was told no. Wish I had read these reviews. Sad how people can steal our hard worked for cash. You should be ashamed
I will now go as far as to get there site shut down due to all these reviews and my personal experience. To many people out of pocket here.
This is the worst online company that I've ever dealt with. I look for shoes in my size, and place the order. Several days later, my order is cancelled with no explanation. I've made numerous attempts to contact them, and I get absolutely no response. Read their reviews here, and you'll know to stay away from shoes.com.
I purchased a pair of shoes from this company and see they made an error in what I was charged... I've attempted to email them multiple times only to receive a robot response... clearly no human being read the email because the answer doesn't even make any sense to the question... then I've tried to call at least 20 times only to be put on hold for 30 minutes and disconnected... there is NOBODY AT THIS COMPANY WHO IS GOING TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL... BUYER BEWARE
I wish I checked here before spending my hard earned money here. I am out $100 because they sent me the wrong shoe size and then "lost" another pair. I received a non-functional tracking number and any time I have tried to request more details, I am given an automatic fake email reply. I am going to follow up with my credit card company to reject the charge.
So frustrated. Will stick with Zappos forever from now on.
Totally agree with everyone-if you buy shoes from them expect to keep them no matter what-I have been trying 2 months to return shoes that was sent in the wrong size-finally got a return label-sent them back and yesterday I received a pair of shoes too big-different style with a note saying they never received the shoes I returned but received the shoes they sent back to me, therefore no refund. Can't reach them by phone-they keep disconnecting.
I was charged for my order right away, however my order never shipped. Their order details page indicates my item has been in transit for 3 weeks. However tracking indicates item never received from shipper. I've tried reaching them multiple times via customer support, but receive no response. I've placed 2 orders with shoes.com, the 2nd order was received and I got a really good price. However the lower prices come with really poor service and like myself you may be stuck paying for something you'll never receive and no support whatsoever from Shoes.com
I attempted to order a pair of shoes after going through the process and clicking complete your order I received a message saying unable to complete your order. Thinking something went wrong I tried again and got the same response. I decided to try later in the day and was able to complete the purchase, when I checked my email after this I saw that all 3 orders had gone through. I immediately contacted shoes.com, you can only contact them via email, the next day I got a response saying they couldn't stop the process and I would need to return the extra shoes. Once I received them I emailed again and stated that I didn't feel I should have to pay the $7.50 return fee. Received an email saying I would get a full refund but didn't. I have sent emails requesting the full refund but now they don't respond. There is no way to talk to someone because the phone number has a message that they only respond to email.
Never pay by credit card, only use pay pal. You will have protection if they don't ship the order. After asking pay pal to return the money to me ( 12 days did not send the order), for the first time they (Shoes.com) answered me that they could not send the order and would return the money. Better not order from them never.

May 28,2021,
I'm sorry, the order could not be fulfilled and had to be canceled. It can take 7 business days to see that refund on your original payment method.
We ordered shoes from Walmart not realizing the shoes where coming from shoes.com. WalMart lost two of the items ordered from the cart. When we enquired about the sneakers we ordered weeks later we found the were delayed again do to the wrong address. That's odd given we received items from Walmart a week before from the same order. When I spoke to Walmart customer service they blamed shoes.com their "partner site" for the delay and incorrect address. Three weeks for sneakers. Really?
Ordered work shoes april7 2021. Got a good deal price wise... well to good to be true never shipped after few weeks. So I contacted shoes.com through phone call no dice says to email so I did. 3 days later they say item is manufacturer was sold out and they were sorry no one told me sooner. What a joke same shoe was in stock the day of sold out email I believe they didn't want to sell them because of the deal I had got them for. Terrible company and customer support. -zero stars is a proper assessment of this bogus company.
This company has no customer service and charged my card when I canceled, sent me the shoes, so I sent them back and still no refund. Gonna contact the Federal Trade commission and reach out to my attorney
I ordered a pair of shoes on sale, and I heard nothing form them for two weeks, so I inquired about the status of my order. It took them another five days in which time they finally notified me that my order was canceled.
I received an email from shoes.com letting me know I have $30 available in rewards. I tried to redeem, but there were no rewards in my account, and the instructions provided to redeem the rewards were useless because I was instructed to click on options that weren't available to me. I called the toll-free number for customer service and the recorded message directed me to email my concern. I did that 3 times over the course of a week and called twice more (in hopes of reaching someone) but reached the recording each time. I'm giving up now because the shoes I want are low in stock and I don't want to miss out. I will buy them somewhere else because I'm not confident shoes.com will be there for me if I need to return them. Such a headache.
Ordered shoes on 3/10/21. No confirmation was sent but I was charged. On 3/15 I emailed about the order. No response by mid day 3/18. I sent another email - their mailbox is full. I tried to reach them via their Facebook messenger and was told I had to email. This isn't how business is conducted. I understand long lead times for product and 1 or 2 days delay in responding to email but something isn't right about this so I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I asked Shoes.com to cancel my order. Not that they'll get that, their mailbox is full!
They hide the "restocking" fee until you have to return something. They are charging you to try on shoes. They say they have free returns but they don't. Company is not honest. Numerous other companies on line with better prices and are upfront and honest. This is not one of them.
So first I try to order my shoes with my debit card, but the website decides that my address doesn't match my debit card... it does. So they place a pending hold on my bank account for 3 business days, and I have to pay with PayPal to place my order. I have selected overnight shipping, but apparently when you pay with PayPal you don't get overnight shipping and they automatically change your shipping address to match whatever address you have placed on your credit card on your PayPal profile... never mind that it might be outdated or not the location that you actually want your shoes to ship to. Because Shoes.com knows better than you do where you want your shoes to be delivered to. On top of that when they assure you that they have cancelled the order, be assured they HAVE NOT in fact cancelled the order, they are still shipping those shoes out to you because they in face know better than you do that you want those shoes and you want them at that outdated address you haven't used in 3 years. Buyer Beware, Never do business with these people, they are terrible.
If I could give 0 stars I would. A recent order that I had placed was shipped to my old address. When I brought this to the attention of customer service they told me, that more than likely will not be able to help me so I messaged back, informing, them i would not be able to receive my order if they could not fix it. I received an additional email stating that the problem in question had been solved and that my order would be sent to the correct address. My order was sent to my old address. I sent several emails to shoes.com to resolve the situation but they chose not only to not assist me but to not even respond to any my emails. I will definitely take my business elsewhere in the future.
I love shoes.com. Their products are affordable but with good quality. Fast shipping and great products. Recommended 5 thumbs up
The last time I bought shoes was 2 years ago from shoes.com. What shocked me is that I got text message alert saying that "shoes.com charged me $1" on January 29,2021. At first, I thought I lost my credit card and called discover and told them to deactivate my card and filed dispute. So. Today I found my credit card in my car and it makes me realized that "shoes.com" is the one who charged me $1. I know it just $1 but I don't like being scammed. Scammer! Beware!
I purchased a pair of shoes from Shoes.com on Jan 7,2021. On receipt of the shoes found they did not fit. I contacted Shoes.com with my online portal (their site) to request return. They sent me a return authorization and requested I sent by UPS. I went to UPS next day and via their scan code returned the shoes. Althought not required I paid extra $2 to UPS to secure package. Shoes.com returned the shoes back to me and said they could not accept due to damage packaging. I have the package in my hand with NO damage. The damage they claim is a shipping label affixed to the shoe box., I contacted their customer service and supervisor and requested a refund and they said NO becuase the package was damaged. Its it not. Consumer should be aware of their unethical practive.
Answer: Apparently they do not care. Not a real good omen for staying in business very long.
Answer: Stay away! I tried to make an exchange, and they charged me for the new shoes and then claimed that returned shoes were worn and damaged and wouldn't give me my money back. I wore them long enough to try them on and even then the shoes were so small and stiff that I couldn't get my feet into them! I asked the customer service "manager" (the 4th "manager" I spoke to) if we are allowed to try on the shoes and shes said "yes of course" to which I said then why do you consider what I did wearing them? She didn't have an answer. This is a scam to sell off damaged or defective merchandise. Stay away.
