Warning, don't buy if you can't wait 18 days to get your Holiday cards! I thought we were well ahead of the game ordering this card on Dec 9. But Shutterfly took eight days to print and ship, then another ten days in transit, so we won't even see our cards until Dec 27, two days after Christmas! Shutterfly should be ashamed of this level of service. At the very least they should display a realistic estimated delivery before you complete your order. We've bought our cards from Shutterfly for several years, but we'll absolutely be ordering from a competitor Vistaprint next year.
S door. I looked at my fyrurfly did not deliver the order. They said it waste my front door but it was neither there nor anywhere on my block. They originally offered to reprint. The next day when I checked the status of the reprint they said they would not and the order would be delivered that day. It was not. Thy refused to reprint or issue a refund. Placed a large order with Shutterfly for Christmas. Received a partial order of ornaments. The partial order was missing four identical ornaments. Contacted Shutterfly and was informed the missing four ornaments would be included in the next two shipments. A few days later, received the second partial shipment which contained two of the missing ornaments. I did not receive word on the third partial shipment. When checked the status online on the estimated arrival date, it showed not shipped. Contacted Shutterfly again and was told it was shipped with an arrival date of December 26 using UPS smartmail. After getting unacceptable answers from a customer service representative, asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor stated since the order had already shipped, the best he could do was to refund the shipping fees. ( It was free shipping due to the order amount.) So now we have just a little over half the ornaments that were ordered.
I ordered my Christmas cards on Dec 6 and paid $25 for shipping and it is now Dec 20th and they are still not here! Unbelievable and unacceptable! Their chat only customer service will only offer me a 25% refund. No cards for Christmas, but too bad for me I guess. I will never use them again
Every year I make a Shutterfly photo calendar as a Christmas gift for my mother. I usually order it the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year, the tracking info on my package abruptly ended & UPS said they couldn't find it. Four days before I needed the gift, I contacted Shutterfly about the problem. They offered to reprint the calendar. I told them when I needed the gift & they offered to expedite printing & shipping at no extra cost to me. I received the calendar the day before I needed it! Very impressed with Shutterfly's commitment to making things right!
This joke of a company has terrible customer service and doesn't follow through on its promises. Good luck in a refund if needed.
I placed my order 12/6 for delivery 12/20, then on 12/18 I receive notice that I will not have delivery until after Christmas! I called and they said I have to receive delivery, then return it for any type of refund. WHAT A JOKE!

This is the second year in a row that Shutterfly has done as absolutely awful job on the envelope addressing for my Christmas cards. Over 20 of the envelopes had the top half of the lettering cut off, off center, half of the recipients name missing, etc. I contacted customer service and their first offer was to give me 3 8X11 prints. I told them that I didn't need enlargement prints, but I needed my Christmas envelops to be re-printed correctly. They agreed, but sent them with no rush or any sense or care or urgency. Complete apathy to a very legitimate customer issue. So, over a week and a half later the new one arrive, and they are the exact same! Apparenlty there is absolutely no one overseeing quality control at Shutterfly. Customer service has been absolutely awful each time I've contacted them. They are extremely slow to respond, not well trained or equipped to handle issues, and altogether apathetic and unhelpful. Never again.
I placed my order with Shutterfly. Was given a date of Dec 14 for delivery. Three more changes in that delivery date got me to Dec 20. They have 100% happiness guarantee. They have a guarantee to upgrade the shipping to get it there faster, but that was not done. Overall, it is one of the worst experiences from beginning to end that I have dealt with in a long time. Customer service was absolutely no help either. What a joke!
Holiday cards ordered Dec 5, paid for expedited delivery Dec 13. No delivery on appointed date, but website stated goods were in transit. Still no delivery one week later, yet the website still showed good in transit with projected Dec 13 delivery date. Phone call to customer service determined cards had not yet been printed; could not project when cards would be shipped or delivered. My request for a full refund was refused; so much for their "100% satisfaction guarantee." I will never use this service again (after being a regular customer for twenty years).
I ordered holiday cards in early November; received them in early December and the cards were missing the pre-printed foiled lettering! I spend 90 minutes with their customer service to re-order them and have the credit applied. I was told I would received them by today (Dec. 19th) - which is cutting it close, but that was the best they could do. Well, today arrived, so I followed up with customer service, who then told me that they wouldn't be arriving until December 28th! Well, obviously, if they say "Merry Christmas" I don't need them after Christmas! I spent another 90 minutes being hopped to supervisors in order to get a refund, but the only thing they would give was a store credit! I will not be ordering from them ever again and you shouldn't either!
I ordered 3 8 by ten On December 1st was told December 13th delivery. It didn't come Was told it would be the 18th. Called on the 18th. It didn't come. Called again and the girl told me definitely by the 21st. She was so sorry. I immediately got an email after that conversation. Telling me it would not be delivered until the 26 liars. No help no service and didn't care. I would give it a zero star if that was possible
Ordered Christmas cards December 6,2023. When I called customer service last Monday they told me they had been shipped and it hadn't updated on my account yet. It is now December 19 and I'm now being told they wont arrive until December 22nd! It now says they just shipped on my account. I will never be using Shutterfly again. The guy lied just so I wouldn't cancel my Christmas cards.

The day after Thanksgiving this we designed our 2023 Christmas card and tried to place our order. When we tried to check out and pay it said checkout was not working but to try again later. We tried for 3 days and finally ended up calling customer service to complete our order. After several minutes they said they had an IT problem and to call them again in three days. When we called they said the problem was fixed and for our inconvenience they would send us the cards for no charge. We thought, WOW, this is great news. It's now December 17th and we still haven't gotten the cards. Called customer service and they had no record of any Christmas card from us this year. Needless to say, we are angry and feel betrayed by a supposedly reputable company.
Do not interact with this company unless you just need a plain 4x6 printed out. They will NOT be able to help you if any issues arise. Their offshore customer service reps. Only see the same exact things you see on your end. And can't help past that. Costco needs to partner with a better company.
There is no QC for the prints. They appear to be good on the computer and then when you get them, they look awful. A simple filter would go a long way.
As far as the customer service goes... GOOD LUCK! I have spent 4 hours on the phone and cannot seem to get anyone that speaks good enough English to fix the print. Four different CS reps and no one can get this figured out, seems there is a lack of training.
The price I spent for these pictures doesn't match the quality. They should have called or emailed me if the pictures didn't look good. But the worst thing is the message I included. I had capitalized the names but that wasn't included. The holiday greeting I had was hard to read with the background, but you can plainly see the shutterfly logo to advertise. Why not give MY message the same clarity? I'm the one paying for it. Never again. They don't have my loyalty anymore.
Don't be fooled by the fake advertising before Christmas. I just submitted an oprder with the promise of expedited shipping, only to find out they can't do it b/c they have too many orders. This is my last order with $#*!tyfly! DON"T USE SHUTTERFLY IF YOU THKNK YOU"RE GETTING A PROMO
This is one of the most horrible retail experiences I've ever had. I had four years of issues with them, and clearly I am a slow learner as they have completely failed me this year. I ordered Christmas cards and matching return labels later than usual as we were traveling, but still got my order in Dec. 3d.
Their site kept saying delivery by Dec. 14-18. But their information on my own order kept saying "being created", even as late as December 16th.
Today, I called them, for the fourth time this week, to insure my cards were expedited, as I paid for. They confirmed that and stated the delivery would now by December 20th!
It gets worse. I hung up and three minutes later got an email that my full order was cancelled. I called back, horrified, and again got another customer "service" rep from Thailand who I again could not understand and who told me he could do nothing to revive my order.
I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. Stay away from this miserable company. They do not deserve to be in business.
