Shutterfly's customer service is terrible and their system is absolute crap! I ordered a living social deal for a calendar. As it turns out, I couldn't apply the deal to the calendar I created because it was an 18 month and not a 12 month like the deal was for (in the fine print said it could apply towards a different size, so naturally I thought I could apply it to a different month range). I called customer service. The RUDEST girl answered and pretty much told me "too bad, make a 12 month calendar instead." She didn't try to make things right or anything. She didn't even ask my name when she picked up and just sounded irritated the entire time. I got off the phone and tried to save my calendar as a 12 month calendar so I could use the stupid deal, but I wanted to save the 18 month calendar in case I decided to buy it in the future because I had put so much time into it. All the other times I've changed the calendar and then saved it, a save option window pops up giving the option to save changes to the current calendar or save to a new calendar. I thought changing it from 18 month to 12 month would give me the same option, but it didn't! Instead, it overrode my original calendar, deleted the 6 extra months, and changed ALL the fonts back to default. I called customer service again and felt completely panicked that I had lost all of my work and was thinking that they had some cache or backup or something of my account information that would allow them to retrieve my original calendar and they pretty much said "No, no way to retrieve anything. Too bad, you'll just have to redo it". Well too bad for you that I'll never give you business ever again. Shutterfly SUCKS! I spent weeks on that calendar just because I had that promo and now all I have is a bitter heartache about my lost calendar and the lack of care and respect that Shutterfly has for their customers. It's obvious that Shutterfly doesn't give a rat's *** about the time and energy that their customers expend on these creations.

Made a calendar around Christmas time for my husband and I tried about 4 other photo gift websites, including Walgreens and none of them had good enough selections to choose from when it came to backgrounds and sizes and such. None of them explained what I was confused about the way this website did.

When it came down to shipping they were SO amazing at keeping me updated and entertained with their emails and they aren't crazy expensive either. Product is grade A and wonderful. I love this site.

I love it iv used them for many years, some of the costs$ are alittel bit higher but the quaility is great-- never a problem and very easy to use plus a half hour window to cancel your order! Very rare these days with these kinds of online photo services

I had great hopes about using Shutterfly. I found the website easy to navigate and the selection excellent. Then I ordered and I have yet to receive my cards. It's been weeks. Every order lost somewhere in limbo. The first order damaged, the second delivered to somewhere other than my address, which is correct on the order and the third, who knows where it is! The delivery date when customer service is contacted keeps being moved up a week. These 2014 New Years cards will arrive in March. The customer service, although nice, never deliver on what is promised. The supervisor told me: "once it leaves our site, we are not responsible." A company who does not monitor or care about Fedex delivering their product? Really? What a mess and I will refrain from using Shutterfly again, which I believed to be quite reputable by their reviews, but when it goes wrong, Goodluck and that is the true test of a "superlative" company, their customer service when there is a problem.

***** Shutterfly has the best customer service EVER! I was SO impressed with how they handled my personal situation this year. I ordered 15 high priced cards and one of them had a cut line through it on the bottom, as well as one envelope had print spots on it. So, I called to have them replace the one and they replaced ALL 15 + upgraded me to the shiny paper (which I like way better and will order the shinier upgrade in the future)! I was not expecting this kind of service and was very pleased with how they fixed it + the extra cards. 5 Star Service *****

For the past two Christmas's I have put together several photo books. The albums are easy to create and I have been very pleased with the way they've turned out. I have never had any issues with the product, delivery or billing. Instead I've enjoyed quicker delivery then promised and have been very pleased with the products and services. I do tend to think they are a bit expensive but between Groupon and their online coupons a deal is always available. I will continue to use Shutterfly in the future for all my photo book needs.

It's been well over 2 weeks and I still have not received my Christmas cards. With Christmas only 10 days away, I will have to buy plain cards elsewhere and get them out right away. Customer service at shutterfly has been unacceptable with wait times over 45 minutes and unsatisfactory response. I will not use this site again.

I have used shutterfly twice. The first experience was fine and acceptable. The second time I had a problem with them over charging me. The customer service to try and resolve the issue was TERRIBLE! Needless to say I will not recommend or use the site ever again.

I have ordered several prints ranging from 4x6,5x7, and 8x10's. I've even ordered canvas prints. One one such occasion I ordered a canvas print and received it with a cut in the middle of it. I called customer service and she quickly took care of it. They sent me another one no questions asked. Now if you like saving money and get several shutterfly cards, they have started restricting how many you can use and how many discounts you can get at one time! This really sucks as they used to not limit and I saved tons of money. Not such the case now...

While they charm you with great offers, the service is awful and quality even worse. The "customer service" team has been expertly trained to avoid the truth and to lie to customers (I was told by one representative that my missing package was picked up by UPS, delivered to FedEx, and then given to the Post Office, so there was no way for Shutterfly to track it!). Spend your hard earned money with a company that cares. Shutterfly is NOT a good company if you want good quality products and honest customer service.

I love using shutterfly when I need alot of pictures printed. They always have great deals going. I just recently order pictures from them they were offering 50 5x7 pictures all I had to pay was the 3.00 shipping. You cant go wrong with this site!

I will give them a 5 because of Tiffany she knew what she was doing and assist anted me with the photo book I order that one of the pictures wasn't right. I called previous and spoke to a gentleman and explained the problem and he assured me it would be corrected but it was not. I called and spoke to Tiffany and she correct red the problem and order the book for me again. I have not received it yet but I am confident that it will be corrected when I receive it. You are lucky to have such a outstanding employee working for you that loves her job

I love Shutterfly! I recently made a photo book for my mom's birthday and, after researching other similar websites, decided to go with Shutterfly because it had the most options while allowing me the most freedom and creativity, all for a reasonable price. After applying a coupon I got from Burlington, I paid $25 for a priceless BEAUTIFUL book. Shutterfly always has some kind of promotion going on (i. E., free shipping on orders over $30) and coupons are very common and easy to come by. They say to allow 5-10 business days for processing and shipment, but I received my order just 3 days later! The site is very user-friendly and customer service has always been cheerful and helpful. Love Shutterfly and my photo book - you won't be disappointed!

Worst service ever!

Worst service ever! Twice now they have doubled my order and double charged me! When you try to contact them they don't respond to emails, the customer service line puts you on hold (been holding for thirty minutes now) and the live chat says the average wait time for that is 25 minutes! This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered!

Shutterfly has only one goal. To take your images hostage and make you pay to get them back!

Despite Shutmyfly's expertise in designing websites, they claim they don't have an option for you to download your full resolution images. Funny. Shutmyfly used to have a method to download full resolution images in 2009. Looks like they decided to change there business plan for decent website to terrorist image-hostage taking website!:)

Don't delete your original photos and save them on your computer first if you are going to use this website.

I absolutely love this site! I've been a user of this service for over 7 years. The photos come out great. My only complaint would be that I'm not allowed to download the full resolution photos once they are uploaded to the site. But overall, I highly recommend Shutterfly

Shutterfly has the most intuitive, user-friendly photobook making program.

More importantly, they really stand behind their program and products. After my wedding, I made photobooks for my family for Christmas. When I switched the size for some photobooks from 5x7 to a 8x8, it shifted the border on the covers. The shifted border wasn't visible on the preview page, so I didn't discover the error until I received the books in the mail.

I immediately contacted Shutterfly, and without me even asking, the lady told me how to fix the photobooks, and gave me enough credit to rebuy the photobooks with the error and credit for overnight shipping, so I'd still have them in time for Christmas!

Since I wrote a negative review about a calendar making website, I thought I should counter with the online calendar site that I have used for years that I love. It's so easy to use and they don't charge you separate shipping for each calendar. I like the quality and size and have always been able to find coupons online also. Fun personalized Christmas present for the family.

I agree with all of these recent POSITIVE reviews. I used a groupon discount to shutterfly and had a fantastic experience. I made a great photobook for my granddaughter and the quality was even BETTER than I expected. I plan to go back really soon to take advantage of more of the fun, photo deals.
