ACHTUNG! Absolute Abzocke! AUF KEINE FALL ETWAS BESTELLEN! Die Sachen sehen online alle ganz wundervoll aus, sind in Wirklichkeit aber sehr, sehr billig verarbeitet. Die Stoffe voller Chemie, die Sachen stinken ganz wiederlich, es hilft auch kein mehrmaliges Waschen. Sachen sind sehr miserabel verarbeitet und aus billigen, dünnen Stoffen. Polyester und Acryl, wo online Baumwolle steht. Die Zollkosten sind irre hoch. Die Farben der Sachen sind real absolut anders, als online und die Größen sowieso. Ich habe vor der Bestellung sogar (wie online empfohlen) meine Maße nachgemessen und dann L / XL bestellt, die Kleidung fällt bei diesen Größen aber aus wie europäische 32/34. Maximal 36. Wie online beschrieben, wollte ich die komplette Bestellung dann zurückschicken (siehe Return Policity) und auch nach 11! Mails an DressVenus.com kam nur eine dumme Computergesteuerte Mail, dass sie Bilder bräuchten (mach mal Fotos von stinkenden Sachen, um diesen Fakt aufzuzeigen...). Sie sind absolut resistent für Anfragen zur Rückabwicklung. Zumal man laut deren Text nur 7 tage nach Erhalt der Bestellung Zeit hat, diese zu returnieren. NICHT MÖGLICH! Ich habe inkl. Versand (ca. 53$) für über 200 Euro (!) am 08. 12. 13 bestellt. Eine bezahlte Tasche habe ich bis heute (28. 01. 14) nicht erhalten, eine andere Tasche kam bereits beschädigt hier an. Ich habe nach über 13 mails dann Paypal eingeschaltet und die konnten ein Rückzahlungsangebot erwirken von lächerlichen 35$. Allein, die noch fehlende Tasche hat mich 19.99$ gekostet. Dazu kämen dann noch die Zollgebühren, sollte Dressvenus mir die Tasche noch schicken. Ich habe die Rückzahlung (weil ich mit der Summe nicht einverstanden bin und die gesamte Bestellung zurückschicken will) abgelehnt und werde jetzt wohl nichts bekommen. Paypal will nun ein offizielles Gutachten haben, was meine Mängel belegt. Das kostet mich aber auch wieder ne ganze Menge. Werde den Fall auf Grund der kommenden Kosten wohl schließen müssen, damit ich nicht noch mehr Verlust mache. MAN KANN BEI DRESSVEUS.COM NUR VERLIEREN! ABSOLUTE ABZOCKE! Solche Shops sollte man verbieten. Googelt diesen Shop mal, da bekommt ihr viele Fälle, die wir bei mir geendet sind. Leider habe ich erst NACH der Bestellung gegoogelt... Und so bleibe ich wohl auf der Drecksbestellung und bisher 200Euro Kosten sitzen. Ich würde den Shop (also die Betreiber) am liebsten bei der Polizei anzeigen (z. B. wegen Abzocke, Betrug), aber weil die in China sitzen, besteht leider keine Aussicht auf Erfolg. ALSO: FINGER WEG VON DRESSVENUS.COM!

I've shopped from Venus 3 times over the past 2 years, and have come to the conclusion that it's a complete hit or miss. Each time I shopped I had bought 4 pieces. The first time, I kept them all, the second I kept 2 an sent 2 back, 3rd time, nothing working out. Anything from sizing and that the product was not exactly as flattering as it appeared on the model, or even the material was a huge no go. The worst thing from it all, is being from Canada, to ship anything back, costs me over $20, and then if I go under the $100 free delivery, I have to pay that, which kills it all.

Although it's been a year since I have actually shopped from there, I can't help but to still browse at many of their pretty and unique pieces. Perhaps if they had free shipping on like a $50 purchase, or slightly better pricing, I would definitely be giving them an other go, but atm, I am still quite iffy.

The reviewers with good comments on dressvenus seem fraudulent, most of them write really poor English and the way they represent cost in dollars give them away as not American even when they use American names. It is a shame that an Asian company would be out there diff raiding people from all over the world. My friend who lives in Korea checked out dressvenus and said they operate out of Hongkong, they could easily do legitimate business and make lots of money from many real people. What a BIG SHAME!

I'm shocked at all the bad reviews as well! Trust me there are ALOT of satisfied Venus customers. We all know though that when we are satisfied... we don't post about it BUT when we are not... we wish to tell the world! I ordered FOR THE FIRST time 2 weeks ago. 2 bathing suits, a cover up and a dress. Well it all arrived about 5 days later and was EXACTLY what I was hoping for! One bathing suit bottom is snug and with the style... it would look "better" a tad larger, so I called customer service (who was VERY nice and helpful) and they instructed me to use the enclosed shipping label and off we go! One person said their bath suits are not lined... not true... my was lined and shaped and flattering! Anyway, if you are leary... just buy a few items to see. They give 90 days to return for a refund or credit... YOU CHOOSE! I am satisfied and WILL buy from Venus again and OFTEN!

Can't believe that there are so many bad reviews! I absolutely love this site! Easy to browse, easy to order... my orders usually get to the house earlier than expected. People are complaining about paying 6$ for return shipment? COME ON! Never had to send anything back cause everything fit... I shop online a lot and this is the only site I never had to deal with customer service

This company will not accept your returns. I bought three coats and they were all cheaply made with terrible sewing. Buttons in wrong places, cheap scratched buttons, super thin material not acceptable for a jacket. They will send computer generated emails requesting more photos and never accept the return. Don't shop here. The positive reviews are because they pay people to write a good review. That bribing of consumers for good reviews is right on their website.

The clothes that I received were of poor quality, also they sent me wrong sizes and colors!

I had already wrote more than 12 emails since November 2013, and they don't want to refund me, I sent pictures of their mistakes, details of suborders... they have a terrible customer service, almost as bad as their clothes...

If you want to change anything, you should sent more than 12 emails (and increasing, currently) with pictures, also they answer the email as they are a stupid machine, it's difficult the communication by email. And you should paid all shippings although they had sent wrong clothes... also they only refund a 10% for their mistakes (in case of you don't want to return the clothes because the shipping is expensive and you should paid it). If you are lucky or you want to waste your money in a bad experience, buy in this shop. =_=

I ordered a dress in December and have yet to receive it. I contacted customer service, and they told me it was out of stock and to pick another dress. They didn't give me the option to get a refund first. So I picked one, and they said I had to pay another $5 to get that one, so I did via paypal. They now told me that THAT dress is out of stock too. I finally just asked them to refund all of my money, and they said that they would only refund the original amount. (which infuriated me.) AND they still have yet to refund me that! I can't find a place on their website to complain. It has been an awful experience.

I have been ordering from VENUS for years--they are a little pricey for this type of merchandise, but they do have some really unique clothing items. Have never been a fan of their swimwear--go to Vic Secret for that, but overall would continue buying from them.

I ordered leggings from this site because they were exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I ordered them in the beginning of November, I got busy and forgot about ordering them, until the beginning of January when I realized they were still not here. I emailed the website and told them the problem. They informed me that the item I ordered was out of stock and that I would have to pick a new pair. I told them I wanted my money back, which I was a little worried that I wouldn't based on their reviews. I checked my paypal today and they indeed refund me my money, which is great on their part. The only problem I have with this site is that they didn't contact me and let me know about the pants. Not a very good way to run a business.

I ordered a swim suit for a trip to Costa Rica 3 weeks ahead of the trip. One week later I got a message saying I'm on backorder with NO Details. The next week they said my order shipped but gave NO tracking number. I leave tonight and found out it won't be here for another couple weeks. What? Backorder, no tracking, and they send it by mule? NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered a coat from dressvenus for christmas it came ontime but it was just terrible the buttons were hanging off the material was thin and cheap the stitching is awful now i have emailed them but the phone number they provide is not a registered phone number. Help :(

I have been purchasing from Venus for several years because they send me a paper catalog and now I order online instead of calling them. Out of a hundred orders I have placed, only once was a mistake ever made in processing a return. They are much faster at returns processing than most companies. Occasionally an item runs out and you have to wait two months or more for an item but not often. Usually things are in stock or ready in a few weeks. That's normal for the clothing industry. I always send back a few things that don't fit, and keep what's fabulous. Their dresses are a bargain and their swimsuits are the best fitting and best quality I've ever seen from any US company. I will continue to buy my dresses and swimsuits and some sweaters and fabulous shoes from Venus. If I don't like it, I just send it back. I never have any problems. I can always get a live person on the phone to help me quickly. I love this company and I never get as many compliments as when I'm wearing one of their items.

I ordered a custom dress

I ordered a custom dress. The dress was made 6 inches too long! The back of the dress was completely messed up. They will NOT work with you to give your money back regardless of how many pictures you send or how many emails in dispute. I am hundreds of dollars out and had to buy another dress for the event as well!

While venus.com offers a great selection clothing and swimwear, I am NEVER buying anything from them again because the level of customer service they provide is completely and totally unacceptable for both online chat and phone contact.

Clearly, management has not kept up with customer expectations for online chat with retail sites, because agents are unable to customize their interactions unless really pressed to do so. And I get that everyone isn't Zappos, but companies should at least be aware of the standards set in their own market spaces and do the best they can to implement "modern" service solutions that try to meet them in some discernable way. Oh, and by the way, one of the chat agents also "hung up" on me when I asked for specific details... wow.

Calling the toll free number is not much better. Agents still utilize the old-school "it's policy" explanations that certainly don't represent customer service as we know it from virtually every one of venus.com's competitors. In addition, when clarification was provided to me about something I questioned because I saw that it was done incorrectly, the explanation I got was about how busy they were, and that they did what they did because they don't have time to be more thorough. Clearly, none of this is acceptable on any level.

And by the way, in addition to paying for shipping on orders under $100 (unless you're lucky enough to find a coupon code), if you have to return or exchange anything, you are going to have to pay for shipping again to send the item(s) back. Also not in line with many in the same market space.

I didn't want to have to be a formal detractor, but after having 2 extremely negative experiences, here I am... beware!
