Never received item. The seller told me her item she sent was in pink bag.
Vinted said I received which I did not. Vinted up loaded a postman pic of 3bags not pink all black or grey.
They went in favour of seller I am out of pocket fuming.
Don't buy from this company! They have taken my money for something I have proven I have not received. My delivery was supposed to be to my home address, in the attached pictures you can clearly see that it was delivered to a warehouse. Their customer service is bar none the worst I have ever experienced. Most of the time you are speaking with a robot, and when you do get a human being all they do is apologise for the inconvenience caused. The fact that I am £84 down with nothing to show for is a little more than an inconvenience in my opinion, but it doesn't concern them. It's so frustrating in this day and age that they are able to get away with daylight robbery. Even though I informed Vinted via their app by following their instruction, that I had an issue and had not received the parcel, they claim that I didn't inform them so I am out of time! The fact that they include compulsory buyers insurance at checkout is laughable. Just more money to line their pockets. The Ombudsman can't help as Vinted are based in Lithuania. They are well aware of this fact, and treat their customers accordingly. They won't even assist in tracking the parcel via Evri, which I am unable to do myself as I am not the sender. I was told that their customer service is limited. No kidding! I only wish I had looked at other customers reviews and experiences before I had purchased, as it has become very clear that I am not the only frustrated, out of pocket customer to fall victim to this sham of company. Take my advise and don't throw your money down the drain.
Vinted is useful but use it understanding that there is little customer service when things go wrong and factor that in.
For the last few weeks they have been looking into why a buyer would buy a large bundle of clothes from me, claim not to like their courier options and want my personal details, return all the items having cut a whole in a cashmere jumper and then claim it was done by the return courier service (I think?).
Today with no notice the customer service thread was closed, the buyer fully refunded and the case closed.
Having previously measured up the cashmere jumper for another buyer and the thread of them enquiring about the item in detail it would be easy to prove the condition of the item but in fact nothing has been done.
The buyer who has been refunded fully has terrible reviews in part and I was very doubtful about them before selling to them or their request for my personal details but again Vinted customer service replied with vague guidelines which I suppose got me into this mess to start with.
Not recommended but will clear out your wardrobe.
Making the purchaser pay for damaged goods returned postage after paying the rip off so called buyers protection
Did you guys know that in vinted terms and conditions it states that even if you buy something and the seller send you the complete different item it's down to the buyer to pay return payment
I am having trouble getting into my account as I need to pay sellers and this stupid box keeps coming up saying to verify my phone no WHICH I keep doing and it does not accept it and keeps locking me out for 24 hours. Its really stressing me out. I send them messages, email says you have message from vinted I open it then what do I get... a box saying verify your no and so it begins. At the end of my tether and there will be sellers thinking I dont want to pay! Cannot wait to sort and leave.
Recently purchased a product that was never delivered. Vinteds automated systems, dysfunctional, advising that product had been delivered and was complete. Not the case, I advised vinted of problems and that item was not received. They kept ignoring my requests to investigate further, only advising as 2 days had lapsed, they could not refund monies. I was previously very happy with vinted however this response and lack of good customer service has now meant, I'm out and off vinted. Their customer service responses appear to be automated with no human response. Be aware, very aware, before opening an account.
Buyer ruined expensive coat now vinted are forcing me to refund.Ive got photographic evidence of how it left me and proof that even the seller had no problem, they just decided it wasn't warm enough please do not use it to sell anything worth more than a fiver, £160 worth of cost ( which I sold for £30) ruined and now unsellable!
Used Vinted scammed twice 3 rd parcel didn't arrived tired to get my money didn't get it no one to talk to no phone number told me I received it delivery company says otherwise no photo evidence supporting them very appalling people using this are being scammed daily by these company
I sent a beautiful, expensive and brand new dress to a "purchaser" who ruined it. The customer service was non existent. My advice: if you are selling expensive items - avoid Vinted. They will not support you if you are scammed.
I bought cosmetics on Vinted. The parcel was left by a courier on my doorstep when I was away from my home. The parcel was stolen. Vinted paid the seller as Yodel said they had delivered the parcel in accordance with their normal procedure. I could not claim under the buyer protection I had paid for, as vinted insisted the parcel was delivered. Yodel said that they compensated Vinted for the loss of the parcel, following my filling in a declaration of non receipt to Yodel. Vinted have kept my compensation money. We are preparing to take the matter to small claims court. This is theft on vinted's part.
Bought a top from Vinted. Item said it had arrived at my pick up location. Item had not arrived. I went back everyday for over a week to check. Went to press "I have an issue" button, but it wouldn't work. So I emailed them saying I had an issue. They told me I needed to press the "I have an issue" button. I reiterated that it wouldn't work. Then my parcel was marked as delivered, even though I hadn't received it. I kept trying to explain that I had not received it and they just kept telling me over and over that they can't do anything and better luck next time. Deleting my account now. $#*!s.
I had a issue so I pressed I have a issue but they said I did not I pressed it 4 times now I've been told the seller got her money I'm really mad as I sent the goods back to her and I sent proof of this
Buyer had the brand-new coat 5 days, demanded a full refund. Vinted accepted the refund request and refunded them 3-5 days later. Buyer kept the coat and the money.
I have sold lots of items on Vinted and also, bought a few. Other than one item I bought being a lot less desirable than the description (I would have ragged the item) I have been satisfied with the ease of uploading or buying. The range of selling/buying postage options is also a major pro! Very happy to be using this site
Recently brought a PAIR of vans but only one shoe turned up! Seller stupidly put the shoes in a PAPER bag … resulted in one shoe lost in the post and repacked one a blue plastic bag. Now I've got to wait for my money to be returned after investigation with the courier! How is this fair?! I have sent photo evidence, customer service at hinted is fast at replying but not fast at returning my owes money. I'm actually really upset by how it's been handled.
Where do I start! Have been ripped off left and right and Vinted 'protection' fee … is nothing to do with protection. I have bought bags that have fallen apart as soon as I used them. Never got money back. Have dealt with the most intellectually challenged seller recently who sent me the wrong orders and I had to pay for the return out of my own money … as it's Vinted policy. This seller would not give me anything towards paying for her mistake. Now my transaction has already been closed and they are telling me that I have to contact this seller or they will close my account. But they have prevented me from being able to contact her. As far as I am concerned, the sooner they close my account, the better my life will become. It's really no threat anymore. It shouldn't be this way. They are causing mayhem. It's just not worth it. They are not the only selling platform out there. Choose another! I feel as though I am being stolen from constantly. A class action law suit really needs to be looked at. When people are paying for 'protection' and not getting any … it means we are all being ripped off! I am a victim. We all are.
Stay away from Vinted
I would highly not recommend Vinted as a trust and saved platform. They have stolen me c. £300 and they are not able to get my money back despite having done everything through the platform. Furthermore, you are required to pay a fee for protection to Vinted which it does not mean/do anything as you can see. And Vinted is getting s commission out of the sale despite been a fraud.
Please DO NOT USE this platform. Happy to provide further explanation if helpful to anyone
Vinted is a great way to sell items it's platform is really easy to work with no complications until it comes to certain members damaging Vinted reputation it seems anyone can sell or purchase an item and immediately changed there mind after a transaction has been completed, one just brushes away the purchase (money already in place) to either resell to another buyer at a higher price or just resell through Vinted at a different price
For me if some one sell there item it should be a binding contract for instance I have recently had 4 sellers do a u turn on me once they have agreed to sell recently a seller called - seller 223 advertised an item to which I bought and completed the sale to cancel the sale 2 days later after my transaction to then re sell the same item in Vinted …?
Why should this be allowed it's making Vinted lose credibility as a serious company when sellers can just re sell the same item at a higher price
This bad practice wastes time and holds up money within the transaction there should be some control on this bad practice sellers in particular should be held accountable for the dodgy dealings in cheating the buyer and Vinted reputation the seller should be looked at more closely and if the see bad practice they should not allow the seller to resell advertise the same item twice
Answer: A total scam the whole company is one complete and utter joke
