The support team did nothing for me. This site is a scam. Never buy from this site! I never received my refund and the support team did nothing only sent me a email saying how sorry they were but couldn't do anything about it
Instead of deleting my perfectly photographed hand crafted brand new crochet slippers made by hand and with love. Vinted should delete the CRAP other sellers attempt to list and sell. "Sorry but your Aeropostale tee is NOT going to sell for 15$." Some sellers on Vinted need to just donate their crap to the goodwill or sell it for 3$ MAX... Vinted should weed these sellers out. Vinted standards have decreased! I do not recommend this app. You won't find what you are looking for. Although poshmark charges an arm and a leg for s&h, i prefer Posh or mercari.
Vinted is actually pretty decent. All these people saying its a 'scam'- stop. You give proof of posting and the money goes straight into your account, there's no way of them scamming you. Also, they take down items if they're fake/copies of designer brands or if you're trying to see anything that isn't clothes related. Follow the rules and you won't have any problems. The only annoying thing is people occasionally asking you do swap when you've specifically said you only sell. But apart from that it's well worth downloading the app if you're looking to sell some clothes
Vinted is not a scam I prefer this than poshmark. YOU DO NOT NEED YOUR SSN FOR YOUR MONEY. Vinted only ask for your bank info and address thats all not your ssn also they improved more and the scammers are gone. I find vinted so easy I made 200 sales already:)
I must say Vinted changed over the years where they do NOT take care of there sellers at all. I was scammed since a buyer destroyed the dress I sent and she wanted me to pay an extra $15.00 because she had to pay for it for her package. STAY AWAY FROM VINTED AT ALL COST
Such a hostile app, very user unfriendly. The site removes your listing without giving you a specific reason at all! When you are super good at taking photos and at photoshop, they remove your listings, too, because they consider your photos as stock photos! They block you without ANY notice even when you have a couple hundred dollars in your account, but you just can't access it or request cashout. That's robbery! If you want to sell designer pieces or even things over $15, it's hard because ppl on that site don't have much money at all, mostly teenagers and young girls.
Well, I'm an online selling veteran, I've been selling since 2013. I tried vinted since many of the girls on poshmark switched over. I made a good amount of sales in the beginning of 2014, but then after August things slowly went downhill. They changed shipping options which costed the buyer more $$ and they are very nitpicky when it comes to using stock images off the internet, which was a big hassle for me because most of the things I sold were NWT items that didn't fit me. Basically, they abide by ALL rules and take them very seriously. No bra selling, or swimsuit selling on there. Not even bralettes. I had bras and other intimates that were NWTs and still deleted from their website because they "didn't fit vinted guidelines" I mean, there isn't anything wrong with that, but it costs them (and myself) money because they could have made a sale but instead deleted the listing. So long story short, I switched back over to poshmark and have been making more sales than ever (: poshmark rules.
When I tried to transfer my earnings to my bank account the app said my identity could not be verified, even though it was the same account I used to pay for previous purchases through vinted. Apparently the only way to recieve the money you earned on their site is to send them a scanned photo of your drivers license passport etc. Given that wise people don't share their personal identification information with strangers, you basically can't get your earnings. You also cannot direct those earnings towards additional purchases on the app. I contacted the help center, and they assured me that the only way to get my money would be to send in a photo of my government issued ID and that they are "completely safe". Based on my first impression of this app and general common sense, I will not be sending in personal identification information and therefore, I loose all of the money I had earned on their app.
Sincerely,
Dissatisfied and Utterly Annoyed Vinted User
I have tried and tried to get my payout from vinted and it won't confirm. There is no phone number for vinted so you can't call them and get support when you need it. It has been incredibly complicated for me to get my money. It won't confirm my bank account information so I can't get the money that i should be receiving!
Do not join Vinted. I tell you the truth. That place is a horrible place to sell. They're a select group of woman there including mods who will make your life hell. They are miserable women who are jealous of anyone who did better in life than they did. I had moderate brands. Forever 21, Kate spade, true religion etc. and was constantly targeted because I wasn't selling thrift store finds like the rest of them. They kept telling me I had to lower my prices because its second hand. I told them it's none of their business how much I sell MY items. (And I actually sold quite a bit, which angered them more) They have value unlike their thrift store finds. It's jealously and its tolerated if you're one of them. But if you're on the opposing side you will be finished. You see it in the forums. That will tell you the truth. I recommend every app except etsy and VINTED filled with power hungry ego driven psychopaths. If you don't believe just look at the forums of these apps. The forums tell the truth. I've infiltrated that place twice and trolled the heck out of the girls, mods and admin. It was great.
There is a reason everyone uses Poshmark. Because POSHMARK is a professional safe community. For all. Not the select few. There are still scammers and bitter people but they are dealt with accordingly. Justice is served. It's a place of business. Not hierarchy
If you have conservative or strong opinions, Vinted is not for you. It is against the forum guidelines to harrass/insult/be rude to someone which Vinted sees as any and all unpopular opinions. You will be blocked for simply stating that opinion. Be aware that you will not be welcomed by the people on this app/website if you do not share the same opinion as them. The support team, mods, and ambassadors will not take your side and help you. Think twice before signing up... Vinted is NOT just about selling, buying, and swapping.
Paid for some items came saying they shipped it but never came at all DON'T DO IT. IT'S SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.
It blocked me saying I have more than one account I have one and my sisters each have one so they blocked us all sinced we used same card! Could they take money from my credit card? Plus I ordered items 5 days ago and haven't even shipped I can't even message the person about it
So I sold my shoes! I been waiting for my payment and nothing! No phone number to call! The payment I for said fail! Then it said it was paid which I never got pay! Never going to sell anything! Worst app ever I lost my money already!
I love it. The app is easy, good customer service, great buyers and sellers. If you read guidelines and follow rules you should have no problems. I am very confused by a lot of the negative comments here. They have gone out of there way to help me as a seller and a buyer several times. I average about $250 a month. Could not be happier.
Worst "scam" app ever. Bought products that never came in the mail $14.0 just taken from my account. They should be taken down and penalized.
Another on-line womens fashions and accessories site selling things now in pretty horrible shape. Old clothes. Barely any selection anymore because the sellers all told Me they are switching over to Poshmark because Poshmark does NOT abide by their rules so they can sell anything. Vinted owes Me $21.99 and insists that I received the refund with the Credit Card that I told them was already canceled that they said they credited Me to that account. They have been arguing back and forth with excuses. They wrote Me back and forth blaming it on the bank when the bank said the card was closed when they sent in the refund so the back rejected the refund and sent it back to Vinted. This has been on-going for over a month now and they are still tying My money up. I asked them to just mail Me out a check for the $21.99 so I could call it quits with this company. I would most certainly NOT recommend this on-line consignment shop to anyone. I used to sell or shall we say use the point symstem on tracy closet until they changed ownership. Now that site was fun. People sold nice things. No rip offs But once they changed owners it all went down hill. I did not receive 4 items I ordered last October 2014, and am still waiting on the $6.95 S&H for each 4 items not received sent back to Me. You only had to pay for the S&H.The other was getting points from selling then You could buy with the points You accumulated... That was the best site, but like I said, it has went downhill since they changed ownership. They should have just let it alone. I heard the Company only has 4 employees working for them when I looked it up on line... no matter it is failing now...! So between those three sites, Poshmark is the one getting all of the people now and getting all of the rude scammers. So in My opinion BUYER BEWARE on all 3 sites.

They do not do nathing for the consumer, they just take that time and then replying you time is up, is nathing we can do, they are so an professional. Contact the ceo or the chief management her is the link.
Amazing! I have been using the site for several months without any problems. I've bought about twenty items at EXTREMELY low prices and I've sold seven items for $45 that they deposited directly into my bank account. They update it frequently to make the experience even better!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
This site is a total scam, it lures you in with the promise of a free voucher. However, later down the line they block your account and block you from withdrawing your money because they claim you fradulently used a voucher discount. So they basically give you it and then penalise you for using it and try to take it away. They also harass you with threats that they are investigating you for fraud and make all sorts of false accusations. In particular, they tried to claim I was selling items to myself to make money. I have no idea how they think that would make me money! But the actual fact of the matter is that I never even sold an item on vinted so there you go! They ignore your emails and eventually block you online as well. That's the sort of con artists that run vinted. Oh, and they also block you if you try and sell something new with tags on because they class it as commercial selling.
They required that I include a picture of a receipt to show that my designer items were authentic. I was selling designer shoes, but they don't require receipts for other brands that have just as many issues with counterfeiting like Gap and Abercrombie. They deleted the items without notice. I do not recommend.
Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
