My 38 year old Seiko needed some repairs that were beyond our local repair shop. Watch Repairs was able to get it running again and it's been fine for the 10 months or so since the repair. I was skeptical that they could do it but they did. It's not a valuable watch-mostly sentimental value-but they treated it like it was a valuable specimen. And it was ready before the schedule date. Good work all around.

I sent 2 watches to be repaired. After receiving them back from Watch Repair - one of the watches worked for only a few months. I tried a new battery- that was not the problem. Very disappointed!

Losy my watch and refuse to reimburse the cost of the watch of the cost of repairs. I am writing to formally demand compensation for a watch that was lost during shipping after repairs were completed by your company. The watch was repaired by your business and shipped back to me on or about June 6,2025. Despite the shipment, the watch was never delivered to me, and more than 90 days have passed since the loss occurred. As per applicable consumer protection and shipping laws, Watch Repairs USA remains legally responsible for the watch until it is effectively delivered to me. The failure to deliver the watch constitutes a breach of your obligation to ensure proper return of my property. The watch, valued at $1,000, was lost due to your company's failure to ensure its safe delivery. Additionally, I paid $700 for the repair services, which are now rendered moot due to the non-delivery of the watch. I am therefore demanding the following: 1. Replacement Cost: $1,000 to cover the full value of the lost watch. 2. Refund of Repair Costs: $700 for the repair services, as the watch was not returned to me. Please remit payment in the amount of $1,700 within 14 days of receipt of this letter, by September 23,2025. Payment should be made via [preferred payment method, e.g., certified check or bank transfer] to the address listed above or through an agreed-upon method. If I do not receive a response or the requested compensation by the aforementioned deadline, I intend to turn this matter over to my attorney, and Watch Repairs USA will be liable for any additional expenses related to the legal action, including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs. I will also pursue further action, which may include filing a claim in small claims court or reporting this matter to the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

I sent a few (pocket) watches to the Chicago Area Watch Repair Shop for crystal replacement, over haul and restoration services. I couldn't be more pleased with the communication and overall service of this vendor. They are a saved vendor for all my antique watch repair needs! Thank you!

Service was complete for my Seiko Kinetic Premier watch. Price was reasonable, good communications for the estimate and return shipping. This is my second service and I recommend them highly.

I have a vintage Elgin pocket watch (circa 1898) that was left to me by my late uncle. It was in need of repair, so I decided to have it restored. I found Watchrepairsusa on line and was very impressed with their website. My mistake. I sent the watch to them for an estimate requesting a complete overhaul and specifically, replacement of a plastic lens, which I had installed a couple of years ago since the watch was missing the crystal. I paid the repair estimate of $553.34 which specifically indicated replacing the plastic lens with a glass crystal, for which there was a separate charge of $79.99. After 7 months in the shop it was mailed back to me at my expense ($ 33.37) and still had a plastic lens. They included a terse note stating they could not use a glass crystal because of an issue with the bezel and only a plastic lens would work. They refused to refund my $79.99 saying they replaced the plastic lens with another plastic lens and the price was the same as the glass! They could have at least called to ask me if I wanted to replace the perfectly good plastic one with another plastic one. One other nasty surprise was a note about vintage warranty. "Due to the delicate nature of vintage watches, we are only able to offer a 3 month warranty". The original repair invoice and website information made NO mention of that, only that they provide a "1 Year Common Sense Warranty". This is a bait and switch. Customer Service was nasty and didn't respond to my request for refund of the crystal charge. To sum it up, my recommendation is to avoid this company like the plague. Don't waste your money.
