Fantastic Customer Service and Builds.

I am a pretty extreme gamer and have built my own PCs and ordered from other companies in the past. This is my second Xidax PC. I have had my first one for over a year and it has been amazing. Just finished building and ordering my second for my stepson, and Chris was above and beyond. He helped me maneuver some things that were "overkill" so that I could put the money into other aspects to really get the best setup for my budget. I already knew Xidax was the best, now it's solidified in stone.

Xidax can't seem to deliver on expectations
July 29, 2022

Purchased a laptop from Xidax, we received it and it constantly blue screened from a hardware issue. Sent it back to them and they received it on the 22nd of July. Over the phone a representative confirmed it would be a two day turn around, here we are over a week later with nothing. I called in yesterday to get an update, sat on hold for an hour and fifty five minutes without ever talking to anyone, decided to chat in and got Jesse, who confirmed that two days was not their usual turn around and that they would have their director call me at 11 today, we are well past 11 both where I'm located at in Florida and also well past 11 in Utah as well. This company has continually failed to live up to the expectations that they set, to anyone reading this I implore you to shop literally anywhere else.

P.S. Their hold music is awful

I am the one typically leaving positive feedback, it takes a lot for me to make a negative comment. When checking out an employee called me to verify that I was a real buyer. I was billing a serious laptop computer for school. The Xidax employee told me i could build a desktop with similar or better stats for the same price. Long story it doubled the price. After waiting months I got the desktop and a thunderstorm surge killed the power supply. Apparently "acts of God" are not covered under lifetime warranty. I shipped the computer back to the company. They replaced the power supply and sent it back. In return shipping the video card and motherboard were damaged. They had me ship it back at my expense. I'm just a little frustrated with myself buying into a sales pitch which turned out to be a bit disappointing. I bought the computer about a year ago and have spent about nine months with a nonworking computer. $7000+ spent wisely oy vei

I've order my rig almost 5 weeks ago. I understand there may be delays, but after reaching out multiple times they always have a different story. I reached out a week ago form today 2/21/22 to check on its status (as they only provide status updates when it's being built, tested, and shipped) only to find out the motherboard I ordered was out of stock. Cool, things happen, we get that situated, I'm told it will take a week to get it processed. Today marks a week and 2 days, I check in it. The SSD card is out of stock… Again, we get it situated, I requested if it can be worked on soon as I've waited 5 weeks already (they promise 4-6 weeks). Only to be told it can take multiple weeks from today for it to get started, processed, and shipped… The worst part is, you have to reach out to them constantly to i guess get them working on your rig. Good luck if you decide to do business with them.

I just recived my new Xidax machine, to replace my old one. I have purchased to machines for myself and one for my wife. The last one I built with them lasted almost 10 years, and is still a beast, I upgraded to a new machine just because of the technology changes that have come along since I built the last one. Sold my old one to a friend who is building a VR driving machine complete with cockpit, seats, controls etc, and my old machine still has the horse power to drive that! The customer service has always been top notch, every time I have had questions or issues they were extremely responsive and ready to help. The one time I had a hardware issue (RAM that had gone bad) they not only sent me new parts immediately at no charge but they even upgraded it for me. There has been no downside to being a Xidax customer, machines are fantastic, customer service 5 stars, and a warranty unlike anything else out there. Buy with confidence these folks are great. I will be a loyal customer for as long as they are building machines.

Xidax sales guided me through the process of building the PC I needed for photo editing. I can run photoshop, lightroom, and bridge, as well as stream music, while I work without the latency I experienced with my gaming laptop. It's fast, quiet, and sturdy.

Xidax wont deliver
February 2, 2022

Order a PC 01/20/22 they recommended a minor change. Build time supposedly three weeks. Now they are telling 4-6 weeks. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. There are too many reputable builders out there that will give you an HONEST build date.

DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORD

They promised 1 month ETA and I followed up 4 times to ensure all the parts in stock, I went through with sales specialist and confirmed everything I selected is in stock. 4 times I followed up (almost every week to ensure all good) - Tracking dashboard they have useless, it just shows order placed. Evverytime i connected with them the response was same. "It really doesnt take us too long to build, it is jst the queue taking too long". Any ways my I waited till my ETA shipping date (1 month!), and contacted them again as there was still no progress. This time sales rep said the case is out of stock and they are waiting for it. That was it. Canceled right away and after reading these comments, I am so glad I did. I wanted to give XIDAX a chance but now I am just a defender for anywhere I see review box for XIDAX to let the others know how terrible their process and dont trust their word.

I started chatting with Chief Salesman Brayden who seemed helpful at first. I told him what GPU I wanted in the PC, also the price range. He immediately tells me to go check out Dell for cheap PCs because I don't know what I am talking about. The Chief Salesman seemed to get very mad when I said someone else had better prices (MAINGEAR PCs). He immediately attacked me for supposedly not knowing anything about PCs. Would not promote this company with the lack of care in customer service.

Let me start off by saying I enjoy my PC from Xidax, and customer/IT support have been really helpful. However, there needs to be improvements made when shipping their products.

Upon receiving my PC for the first time, the GPU was completely ripped out of the PCIe port, damaging both the card and the port. The puff pack that they had placed inside the computer to keep the components safe had evidentially either not been put in properly, got too hard, or was knocked out of place. They requested that I sent back the entire build, which I had done.
The entire repair process took 3 additional weeks for me to receive my computer a second time, making it take in total 2 months to receive a fully operational computer... sort of.
This time the packaging was awful. The outside box had very noticeable damage, there wasn't nearly as much protective gear around the internal box, and the front of the tower case had been broken. The repair team also forgot to put the rest of my order in the box! Leaving me with only the tower. No power cord, manuals, paperwork, wifi extender, etc. If I didn't have multiple PC's in my home, I would have NO WAY to power on the computer to preform a quality check to see if any more damage has been done or if it was just the case, but thankfully I do and just took another power cable from another computer and ran some benchmarks, nothing else was damaged.
I'm waiting to hear back from their support team for the second time now to see what they're going to do about this. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the company themselves, they've been nothing but helpful and it pains me to see their products being mishandled and forgotten to be shipped.

Their lifetime warranty and shipping guarantee makes all of this free, however possibly having to go 3 months after purchase for a computer I could build myself in 30 minutes is insane.

This company has good potential. Their sales team is extremely helpful, as well as their customer service. Everything has been taken care of promptly, but their IT team needs some serious work done to them.

Would I recommend this company to a friend? Absolutely not. Until they make some serious changes in how they handle returns, stay away from this company.

So, I got myself my first gaming desktop through these guys. The computer is so far running just fine with the exception of one of the fans. So far I'd brought this to their attention three different times but they don't seem to be interested in replying to me about this issue at all.

Oh, they're super nice to you during the sales process but then drop off the face of the planet if something goes wrong? I went with Xidax because I didn't really have a choice. My laptop was crapping out and it was just time for a new system but so far... I really hate being ignored. Especially considering this is an almost $2K system, brand new, and should NOT be having issues right now as far as I'm concerned.

Just be aware. They may not work with you after you receive your computer.

Bought a fairly high end computer, have had a couple of problems two years in and support got my fixed up fairly quickly with a new power supply and GPU. No complaints here. It's worth it.

Xidax is Amazing

I have purchased multiple PCs with Xidax and they have ALWAYS turned out great. One of my systems was dead on arrival but that was at the fault of the shipping company--not Xidax. The Xidax customer service and tech support were quick to get me a replacement. I have talked with multiple sales, customer service, and support agents aover the years nd my experience have never been short of amazing.

I feel obligated to write this review because I have worked with Xidax for nearly 7 years and this site does a poor job at representing the company. I highly recommend you check out some other sites like https://www.resellerratings.com/store/Xidax_com which Xidax has 5/5 stars out of 1700 reviews compared to this site with 27 reviews.

Xidax is the only company I have found that offers a lifetime warranty and they are the company you should go with.

Customer services/ Repair service

Absolutely $#*!ed people, and customer service. I have sent out a laptop to be repaired. 20 days later no update, no response nothing. I called in to find out the status of the repair. The tech guy said last update was on Aug 30. And we are waiting on the quote from manufacturer. So there is a big surprise there! Xidax doesn't manufacture your laptops and computers!. So I asked who is the manufacturer, and he said I don't know because I don't have the bottom of the laptop to get some info from the sticker. So I asked can you find out from somebody who sent the laptop where so we can track. His response was no I cannot. So here we go, 3 weeks later after the laptop was sent in for repairs, no one knows where the laptop is. And in todays world when the laptops are used for daily work, 3 weeks later no one knows where the laptop is or when it is going to be repaired, or if it is going to be repaired at all.

I was very surprised to learn that they are so horrible at xidax, and their process absolutely lack common sense and logic. Now will be waiting for the call back from a manager. Who will probably tell me the same thing, I am stupid, I don't know where your laptop is because we sent it somewhere.

Crappy laptops
September 11, 2021

I've bought 3 computers from this company that were great desktops still running strong and my youngest son wanted one and I didn't feel like we had the room for another so I got him a laptop for the time being and the sales man messed up the order twice and never told me of it was being built or the total I had to call and find out then he was charging me for the the 1 tb and was only putting 500 in it then I got the laptop and it looks like something u would buy from Walmart it's the case is the cheapest one they probably can find I spent 1500 bucks on it its sad that the company is starting use crappy materials I was bragging to every one about this company and now I don't think that's going to happen I still need one more desktop and I think I'm going to go somewhere else this company is going down hill and it's a shame for the pple that believed they were the best so hopefully they figure there crap out before they go down hill

I started having issues with my computer and when I looked up the error codes and how to fix them I saw that there was a decent chance it was my hard drive, and I thought ok I can buy a $50 hard drive or spend $66 to ship it to them, and get the hard drive replaced for free since it's under warranty, plus they can check out everything else, so I shipped it to them and they told me the mother board died and since it was an older motherboard (still running ddr3 ram) they tried to sell me a new motherboard, cpu and ram, totally around 1k, I told them to send it back to me, went to best buy got a new hard drive and all of my issues were gone, either they lied on purpose to try to get some money put of me, or their employees are so bad at their jobs that I can diagnose a pc better than they can, either way it's pathetic. Also when I got my pc back a corner of one of my case panels was bent and missing paint, and they broke clips on my psu shroud, so they lied about what was wrong and returned my pc in worse condition then when I sent it

I configured and purchased bought my second Xidax PC a little over two years ago. About a year after, I began experiencing crashing / BSoD problems when gaming. Sadly, Xidax support has just plain left me hanging and I've now got a 2-1/2 year-old rig that's just not good for its intended use. I've submitted countless screenshots and performed every test they've asked me to over the past month and they've basically just left me hanging without any real attempt being made to solve the issue.

I'm more or less forced to buy a new system for gaming, and I can tell you it is NOT going to be a Xidax PC this time due to the lack of support - support that is touted as being so fantastic, and was a big reason I chose Xidax in the first place.

On another note, while the idea of fully configuring your own system was intriguing, in the end, the need to select all the various components just goes overboard. As a gamer of course I want the ability to choose my processor and graphics card, but the other options you need to choose border on the realm of the ridiculous. Type of fans? Grade of thermal paste? You can't be serious. If I wanted to bother with these kinds of minor details I'd just build my own system.

Xidax custom build

If I am going, to be honest here, Xidax is a really good company. It took around a week for the pc to come and I live in NY. So for all the stages, it had been put through and the delivery time, it's pretty fast. Plus there were no state taxes and the delivery was free. Ngl when I got the pc, the box was pretty roughed up (thanks UPS). The packaging was really good as it had a second box and so far gaming is hella good. I run Battlefield 1&5, war thunder, Arma, Squad, COD, and enlisted very smooth on high/max graphics. Customer service was also very good, the person who helped me was Brayden and he was chill and helped made the process really smooth. I spent $1690. So money well spent. I would personally recommend getting a PC from Xidax. Though no company is perfect and they will always have their pros and their cons, you always gonna be taking a risk.

I ordered a PC from them a couple years ago. MY GPU fried and needed an upgrade. I called hoping I could get a new card for only a small amount of markup. I assumed, incorrectly, than as an official merchant for these parts they would, like other merchants, only offer minimal mark up and keep near to the msrp of the parts. When inquiring about cards in stock, i was offered a Radeon 6800 for $1500s!

Yes you read that right. Fifteen Hundred Dollars. For a card that goes at MSRP for $550. Even scalpers on ebay only sell them new, buy it now, for $1100-$1200. The rep tried to justify it because of covid, but their brand has made millions off of the low demand cards since all-in-ones are the only reliable way to get the build you want during this shortage. I expected a small mark up, but this was bordering on illegal.

Hoping it was a mistake and he quoted me a completed build he confirmed this was the price. I asked for the price of the 3070TI, and was given a price of $1400. Equally absurd.

Don't buy from them. Don't support them. Don't trust them. Any company that tries to exploit people like this deserves to fail. I waited for 3 hours to talk to somebody and this was the result.

NIGHTMARE
June 30, 2021

Financed pc for 3500$ delivered broken PC fault found from day 1 unboxing sent back for repair after cpu is overheating... they return saying it's fixed... this is a lie computer still overheating still same exact code on mother board. If they just turned it on after "fixing" it if they even worked on it. In reality they could see it them selves its a bright light that literally says a code in bright red can't be missed... well they did miss It they didn't even look in my opinion. Here it is less than 6 months in 3-4 months of it actually being in my house completely dead pc no boot unbelievable and they want to act like fixing it should cost me money... umm no you shipped it defective failed to repair it 2 times you just need to fix it right its literally not hard replace the cpu quality test it play something it's called running a business you don't sell someone crap then put them off worst experience of my life 1st and last time
