Surprised to see all of the bad reviews. I love this company. I check the site everyday because they have great promos. I get most of my shoes from here and I love the extended sizes (xs!) the only thing is they rarely restock items even if they're very popular and in stores sometimes they make you feel guilty if you don't exchange something rather than getting your money back. Also they stopped allowing comments and stopped giving promo codes with every online purchase.
Ok so I placed an order 3 months ago and I never received anything. I called and went through the process but I never got refunded
I wanted to leave the review on the items I purchased by their website doesn't allow for it. I ordered 5 pairs of shoes from their website and only 2 pairs actually fit. All 8.5 but two pairs were labeled 8.5 but fit like a size 10. Literally my husband could've worn them. Another pair fit extremely tight. The other two pairs of 8.5 fit exactly like an 8.5 should. I took them to the store hoping to find the correct size shoes but they didn't have any of the same styles I ordered. I tried on numerous shoes in the store and every pair fit completely different. I wore between a 7 and a 10 depending on what shoe I tried. It was unbelievable! I returned the three pairs that didn't fit without any problem at all they just reimbursed me my money. I will not be buying anything from their website ever again.
Horrible customer service and policies. Placed an order that was never received. USPS claimed they left it on the front steps of the apartment building that house over 100 apartments. Charlotte Russe said it is not their problem and they do not require a signature for deliveries. They need to change their policies to ensure that customers are taken care of. The onus is on them to file a claim.
I have tried for weeks to place orders on their web site and although every other merchant is fine with the 5 different credit cards I tried, they will never accept it. And their customer service folks are of no help. My bank says no problem, but they say it is the bank. They don't seem to want my business.
Don't let all the bad reviews scare you away. No its not top-notch quality, but for the prices it is good clothing. I have ordered from Charlotte Russe nearly every time I get a paycheck, and everything has come exactly as pictured except for one scarf. (It said turquoise but it was more of a green color.) I usually don't find much when I go to their stores, because the store that's an hour away from where I live is sort of small. So I order online. I find the sizing to be true and everything has always went smoothly for me. My packages always arrive within a week from the time I place the order. Another good thing about them is that they have some of the most comfortable heels I have ever found shopping from cheaper stores. I did get a pair that was God-awful, but they did have a really high heel. But I have several other pairs and they have been some of my favorite shoes.
Glad I only ordered one pair of "high waisted cotton leggings" as there is absolutely NO ELASTIC AT ALL IN THE WAIST! They fall down to the crotch within 10 minutes and fall all the way down past your knees within 15 minutes - I actually timed this. They have to be pulled up every 2 minutes or less. What kind of apparel is that? If you are a living person, they will not stay up. Good only for dressing corpses in their coffins. If you wear these, you'll need suspenders.
Unbeatable prices. I only had one pair of leggings because they're over $10-25 a piece (I wear them under my pants for snowy days on mount Hood so layering leggings is awesome!) I ordered some leggings and some scarves. My order came in two weeks and was just what I asked for! I was super worried because all the bad reviews. I have ordered a second time and crossing my fingers the first time wasn't just beginners luck!
Only reason they're not five stars is because I'm a size 0 in pants and the xs leggings are 00-1, size 2pants are huge on me so I got xs. They are as tight as can be while still being wearable I think I popped a few stitches the first time I tried them on lol they're very stretched looking on me which is unfortunate because I love them other than that. Also, the customer service guy I talked to was super nice but unfortunately couldn't add the one more scarf I wanted (to avoid paying the shipping on another whole order)
No confirmation email to my purchase online. I waited, not knowing there's no record of my "order". Just shut down the website if you don't wanna let people buy from you!
Oh my lord I never thought customer service could be worse. Ordered two separate orders from here in August. One order just never arrived to my house and the second order I decided to return an item from that order. After never receiving my return $ TWO MONTHS LATER I called customer service where they told me that I should've called them, told them the tracking number and let them know I would be returning an item. And because I didn't let them know there was nothing they could do about it. It never ONCE on the return order instructions notified me that I had to call them to tell them that. I spoke with a supervisor who then went to check in the back and they found my order sitting in the warehouse, never scanned in or touched. Then I asked for the refund, which it took another month to process through. They then proceeded to tell me that my bank wouldnt accept the refund so it took longer than expected. (meanwhile my refunds from before went through with no problem... pretty suspicious) I told them I was very disappointed in their service and Chris the supervisor offered me a 15% discount on my next order. HAH! I could find a better discount from an online coupon code. I will NEVER be shopping here again and I really advise you should not either
Do not shop from them ever. I've never experienced such a bad order as I did right now. Ordered two boots from their website, one regular price and one for $8. I was happy with one of them but the other arrived stained and with the right boot completely missing a buckle. I called, expecting to get the return these and get an undamaged pair. Nope. She said I could return these, get back $8, and put in a new order for them at the current price of $45. What on earth? First of all, they send out damaged products and then they dont even attempt to fix them? I'll be returning both pairs as soon as possible (in the store or else I have to pay for shipping for the undamaged ones) and never shopping there ever again. A pity since I always liked their physical stores.
Zero stars. I've shopped at Charlotte Russe several times but I believe this will be the last. I placed my order on a Monday when the whole website was 25% off. I typed in my debit card info and submitted my order, which then the website took me to the confirmation page. I do remember it saying that my order was confirmed, but pending. I was on my way to work so I just logged out, assuming my order was complete. Tuesday rolled around and I never got a confirmation email. I called them Wednesday morning and they said that there was no transaction showing up on my account but I know I made that purchase. They said they couldn't give me the 25% off my items nor did they ask me if I wanted to reorder my items. I was very upset because it was a good deal and I was on a budget. All they said they could do for me was give me a courtesy discount of 10% which is the same thing you get for just signing up to receive emails and txt. I just told them no forget it, I went back online and tried to find all the items I had ordered and removed some so I could still make my budget, but when I tried to check out this time the website gave me an error message telling me to call my bank because my card declined. I called my bank, come to find out Charlotte Russe did debit the money out of my account so again I couldn't order my items. So after that I called Charlotte Russe customer service back and told them about this and the person I spoke to claimed they didn't know what happened or why the website did that. So because of their website I didn't get my items, my money was taken out of my account, and they didn't even offer to let me reorder my items with the 25% off. I'm still waiting for my money to be put back onto my debit card and if it doesn't then I will have to call them and go through the hassle of getting my $138.83 back. This will be the LAST time I ever shop with Charlotte Russe.
Fabulous:-) it tooks less than a week. I got everything I ordered. Free shipping no fees, no tax. It was great. I loved it. I will buy again.

Love doing online shopping from charlotte russe. I've made 3 orders in the past 2 months because of all their sales and all have arrived super fast, within 2-3 days :) I've never had any problems. Also i'm usually super picky with shoes but i got a pair of boots during the $25 sale and i just LOVE them, they are super comfortable & cute & best of all, the perfect size.
Very bad! Try to return something that I purchased online obviously the girl didn't know how to handle the situation, "manager" money back to my card only merchandise card.

Tried purchasing an e-gift card online for my neice. First time, I didn't receive an order number or confirmation number. Called CS, they said something was wrong with my CC. Called my bank, nothing wrong with my CC. Tried it again next day, same issue. Called CS and they placed the order for me. Email received but CS never mentioned it could only be used online & the whole purpose was for her to use it on vacation. Called CS, said they couldn't cancel it. My first and last experience with this company. Will never purchase anything online from them again.
I tried to purchase an order online for $500.
I put the order in around midnight. I was so excited about the purchase that I checked on the order status when I woke up the next morning.
It was CANCELLED!
I did not receive an email or a phone call.
No heads up, but they still took my $500 out of my bank.
I had to call their customer service in the Philippines only to be transferred 6 times before I could talk with the "supervisor".
The supervisor told me because a manager could not confirm my billing address they cancelled my order. However my bank was CHARGED! Not a pending charge either. I called my bank and am STILL waiting on my money to return in my bank and it's been 17 days!
The supervisor told me the only thing she can do is resubmit my order but I have to pay the $500 again!
Horrible returns policy compared to other stores. If you don't have everything tags and all they won't take it back. As a bonus, if you don't get it back to the within 30 days of the purchase, they won't take it back. I did call customer service after learning the store would not accept it and even customer service refused to help. I'm now stuck with an item that does not fit. Seems I would have at least received in store credit even after the 30 days. People often order online because they don't have a Charlotte Russe nearby, hence why I'm over the 30 days. Stay away unless you are certain you want the item.
DO NOT SHOP AT CHARLOTTE RUSSE! I had a dreadful experience. Part of my order arrived damaged and I wanted to return the entire order because it went together. I was told I would receive a prepaid shipping label via e-mail, which I did not. I did however receive another call (the next day) from customer service requiring more info and then they renigged on their initial promise. Natalie, their manager, was terrible and I will never shop there again.
