Now it shows there's an update and an outage after trying 2 hours with customer support and calling! Would have been nice to know before trying to contact you and get no where and calling and getting no where! Worst customer service ever! AT&T has better customer support and service! If I could go back I would but unfortunately I don't get their services anymore. Worst customer support! Worst service! Worst prices!
Last time you sent a technician to my house the poor guy climbed up to the line, couldn't find nothing wrong. Then Cox called him and said there was an outage! I waited two days and then he climbs up there and there was an outage on your end the whole time. And you charged a tech fee! Then I wasn't prorated for not having any service for days! If I had an option I would go elsewhere but I don't!
I can't understand why I am paying $50 for service that spends more time down than connected and working. It's totally unacceptable

I went to open the History Channel app to watch a new show. It wouldn't open. A message appeared that it had to be deleted. I deleted it, then searched Cox for the History Channel app replacement. There was none. I called Cox. They told me they were deleting apps such as History Channel. I don't know how many others they have deleted without announcements or replacements. Pay more. Get less.
When you run a monopoly on internet in a city I guess you can treat customers however you want - and they do! I don't know which is worse - the customer service or the actual internet itself which goes out multiple times a day. The day I never have to interact with Cox again will be a great one.
Everytime there's an issue with this company it takes months to get resolved and then does NOT stay resolved! I've spent countless hours trying to resolve issues with Cox! They send obnoxious techs out who aren't informed of the issues I'm having, and I'm expected to recount in detail what is going wrong! I even had one tech who stole a set of diamond earrings from me! Every time the modem resets my personally selected setting go back to Cox' baseline settings! And I'm not aware of when the modem resets, which is way too often! I'm missing critical calls from physicians, attorneys, family, who have their caller ID coming in as private! This morning I reset the spam setting 3 times...and those settings did NOT stay as I selected! I'm forced to have to receive "spammer calls" just so my private callers can get through the spam screening! I am so disgusted with this company! Also a long history of picking up my phone only to find NO DIAL TONE! So in a life & death situation, I suppose I'm to build a fire and send smoke signals? Complete crap! AVOID THIS HORRID UNRELIABLE SECOND RATE COMPANY!
Donald jones at the cox store provided excellent customer! Was a great pleasure to be serviced by him.
Moved from one apartment to another, both had Cox. The first customer service rep wanted me to make another account. The next said that was a bad idea. This happened every step of the way with every little thing. It's hard to imagine building a customer service team as incompetent as the one I encountered even if you tried. I will be specifically asking apartments if they have Cox internet going forward so I can avoid living there.
I can't stand cox when wi-fi gos out it takes a long time for it to come back on! Cox Needs to do better
Cox is terrible and its the only option for internet in my area. Theres at least 1 "random" outage every day and the hotspot woifi never works. They never give customers refunds for outages and the price keeps going up every single year. 100mbps internet shouldnt cost more than $30 a month but cox charges $50 a month which is highway robbery
Outage every single day. 0.5mbps while paying for 1000mbps. Hardly able to post this review. Any other service would be better. Don't waste your money.
The amazing music being sent to us on your Contour channel 954 is outstanding of late. For many months it was not good at all. In our home, we turn to that music channel every day beginning at 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Unfortunately for television broadcasting, we do not watch anything else on TV and have not for over ten years. My wife records some movies to watch. I record some sports to watch. That's it. We live in San Clemente, California.
30 year customer in Phoenix here. I finally pulled the plug on these thieves. They jack the rates consistently thinking customers won't go elsewhere. I now stream content 100% of the time and have never been happier.yhey can take their customer service and shove it….along with their programming. Oh, I also have 50 hours of DVR now!
Horrible customer service from a horrible company the only reason that they implemented data Was so that they could take advantage of the American people That were forced to work or do school from home during the covid pandemic shows just how scandalous and petty they are

Cox customer service or lack there of is the absolute worse! These people don't listen and don't know anything. I just canceled my service because I never got a modem and the hold wait time was ridiculous but I waited and then they hung up on me 3 times! Seriously? So I tried the chat, even worse. These people are clueless. They do not understand anything! I tried explaining 5 times that I never got the equipment and they still didn't get it and yet they want to charge me when they never sent the equipment! Unbelievable. Where do they find these people and why aren't they trained properly? They are a bunch of idiots!

Cox is laughably bad-everything about it is bad. And you pay top dollar for this terrible, terrible service.
First of all, often their reception is bad. I had so many problems with my cable TV reception at my old apartment complex-even though their repairmen came out there several times.
Just terrible, terrible Customer Service. First of all, the workers (who seem to obviously be from India) often can't speak very good English and they don't even understand what your issue is-regardless of how straightforward it is. They are often as incompetent as can be. I've often even been told many different conflicting things from different personnel. On my current issue, I've spent probably FIVE HOURS on chat when this issue probably should have been resolved in 15 MINUTES. Even the simplest of issues takes hours and hours to resolve and I've had to contact them over and over and over.
Where I live, there aren't a lot of options. I would leave Cox in a heartbeat. What a terrible company! I wish I could give them negative 100!
This has been the worst. I don't even have cable and they charge a lot. The internet never works and when we re connect it takes forever or always fails. Not worth it!
Beware, do not use Cox. I have been given the run around, lied to, and charged for services they don't deliver.
I live in Lorton and I have business in Lorton to the internet and phone with Cox is very bad when you call them they only give you excuses and apologize that all they can do. For my business they are locky because they are the only service in Lockport I which Verizon take action in our neighborhood as they did in my house neighborhood.
I don't recommend Cox at all you will lose money from both sides
